"Ensign Maddox. Your report on the status of the communications system repairs was due three point six hours ago.” It was only a minor repair, but regulations are regulations and the report is needed. "I ask you inform me as to the reason for this delay.”

Her face set in a horrified frown, one hand curling into a fist by her shoulder. She, Maddox, was late - she was NEVER late.
