i want to say something to that anon, but let me first say that i respect their opinion and i'm not mad at anyone here. however, i disagree. no one needs to know korean to talk about this situation. this is a situation regarding jokes made towards body types. while it's true that sometimes things become more cruel when translated, at the end of the day, it's still humor directed towards someone's body type. even if fat jokes are common for some people of certain ethnicities, fat jokes aren't necessarily a cultural thing.

i think the reason why everyone (fluent in korean or not) is talking about it is because normalizing such humor is toxic. we don't know what enha's relationships are like, but remember that they have fans of all body types who they could be offended. in my opinion, if enha likes to make those jokes and all of the members okay with it, then so be it. but people have the right to express whether or not they agree with, and express concern. as long as they're sharing their perspectives respectfully and with consideration towards others, it's fine. no one is required to agree, disagree, be neutral, or even care really. /nm

HI i had absolutely no idea what was going on with enhypen and why everyone was filling my dash with them today but after reading ur post i understand why and i just wanna say that!! i love the way u worded ur post!! ive been subject to being,,,teased (to put it simply) about my weight and size and sometimes looking at kpop idols makes me feel a lil,,,insecure!!! but not only did ur post enlighten me on what was going on, but it also made me realize that kpop idols struggle with weight and being judged for their size and idk why but i felt such an immense amount of love for u in that moment NEUDU i hope u have a good day <3

Also a big thank you 🥺 I was worried my post would come off weird so I'm glad that it did in fact get my point across! As I said in my post, I've dealt with my own fair share of bullying for my weight and I really just felt like I needed to speak on it since I know how it felt, and I'm glad that within my post you could find some comfort (if that's the right word) because I too feel a lil insecure sometimes when I see idols.
