I really don’t feel like Tati is to blame for exposing James Charles only now that he backstabbed her. I believe Tati tried to use her position as his mentor to talk sense into him. In her video she said she called him out multiple times on his inappropriate and predatory behavior.

From what I believe, she never wanted to make a video like that because she thought it wasn’t necessary since she could “fix” him. When he backstabbed her, however, she realized that she doesn’t have the power to change his behavior, because he doesn’t respect her and because she is just a pawn in his game.
