Trevor rather feels how her wrist is slipping from his grip than realizing that he is loosening it to let it go. His eyes are on her, on her face, on her lips that are moving angrily when letting out those words. His own lips are still parted as if they're waiting to move again to say the right thing. But she is right. There are no words left that can solve this.

So, his lips close, press into a line. And for a moment he just looks at her - or actually the space between them - in silence.

He senses that she is about to turn and leave, when his body suddenly moves. He steps forward, and this time both his hands grab her, hold her by the neck and pull her up against him, so his lips come crashing on hers, in a demanding and somewhat desparate kiss.

At first, Ellie is held in place by his hand on her wrist but after a glance between his hand and his gaze, she gives a small tug followed by a scoff at his words.

"Just because you say it, doesn't make it true," this time she tries to release her arm from his grip with a quick pull. "You have to actually prove it," she retorts. "For once, follow through on your word! Act like you actually want to be with me,"

Trevor's eyes met hers, his eyebrow raised. "I don't have to prove it. It's a law of nature." He pulled his shirt over his head as he got onto the bed to her. For a second, there was a grin on his lips. Then his hand reached to grab her by the neck, pull her close. His lips hovered over hers as he whispered against them. "And we should let nature take its course." He claimed her lips in a hungry kiss and pulled her body flush against his.
