Just saw a video analysis about if the Scooby gang could beat Light Yagami. I wasn’t worried about the gang but I didn’t realize how cooked Light was. Velma alone is way smarter than L, Freddy would instantly see through the trapped drawer that hid the Death Note and Scooby is such a wildcard overall, who is immune to the Death Note because he isn’t human. So even if he gets the rest of the gang, Scooby is coming with a vengeance.

Funniest scenario is Shaggy and Scooby trailing Light only to be confronted by him. Light tries to kill Shaggy but can’t because he would never just give away his name as “Norville Rogers.” Light thinks Shaggy is some genius playing fourth-dimensional chess with him.

since we know Yukari loves to sing (singing in the love hotel showers during the July full moon mission, her running obsession with karaoke, etc.) I thought it'd be cute to give her shadow form a bird-like syrinx so that she can do complex double-throated vocal stuff like harmonizing with herself, little trills and vocal flourishes and whatnot, etc. etc.; something she might actually enjoy. but watch out... :^)

Not to be a bitch but sometimes people engage with fiction in the most boring way possible, and nowhere is this clearer than in videogames. Like what you mean you hate a character just because they were kind of abrasive when speaking to the player character? "They were mean to me" and it didn't occur to you to wonder why? Like, what might their attitude toward you reveal about the world? About the social dynamics within it? About their own perspectives and backgrounds and personalities? Does it even occur you to ask? Would you only have liked them if they bowed to your presence and talked about how great you are? Like I'm sorry but you're so boring. How boring fiction would be if it cathered to you
