A hand perches upon her cocked hip , DEVILISHLY red mouth curving into a sharp smile as her hooded eyes flicker over the FORMER queen. Beneath pallid flesh there was a BLACKENED soul , one having tasted the ABYSS & found it curiously nuanced , enough so to exploit it complexities. In many ways , Ikra EMBODIED the darkness , a true reflection of what it meant to exist both as & within its depths , her very form swathed in the light swallowing shadow the monarch claimed to wield as her own. What she’d dabbled in was but a mere shallow pool , she herself a faint ripple upon the surface of an immeasurable black ocean ---- no , an open MAW.

        How deliciously EVIL! He could smell it on her like the sweetest of perfumes– coating upon coating, this woman- this being- was something not to be taken lightly, but rather to be consumed by the devil’s own curiosity! HIM draws closer to her, one pointed, leather-bound foot placed far in-front of the other.

She was DIRECT , nearly abrupt if not for the relaxed way she fashioned her words , every syllable meticulously uttered with a casual element of INTENT ---- an awareness of her own lethality. She ponders for a moment , her options, _COULD be & the increasing brutality in the misfortune possible brought a mirthful glimmer to her eyes. The possibilities were truly ENDLESS , in the end it would come down to preference.

She’s taken a seat beside him , suggestive curves accentuated by the motion of Ikra leaning CURIOUSLY over the counter , knowingly flaunting her beauty in the interest of disarming SUSPICION. Much like rain eroding soil it is patient work, what would begin with a trickle of delicately instrumented body language would evolve , becoming soft whispers of subtle , PRYING inquiries to discern anything of interest.

Headcanon / ( 02 . ) : ABILITIES 

( 001. ) / SHAPESHIFTING : As evil manifested into the physical world, Ikra isn’t bound to any one permanent form, instead she can assume whatever visage she so desires, whether that be an animal, a person or an amalgamation of forms such as the black winged body she assumed to achieve flight or a crossbreed of different animal aspects into one such as Aku’s various shapes. Transformations can also be very minor, augmenting aspects of her preferred body to act as weapons, such as turning her fingers into claws, teeth into fangs or growing in size to fight larger entities.

( 002. ) / WEAPON MATERIALIZATION : The blade is integral to the mythical Akuma, as opposed to Jack’s blade. which is imbued with the essence of light, Ikra’s is composed of absolute darkness, forged within the very fires that burn inside Aku & to sustain injury without death from this blade ensures a corruption of the individual. Only those strong in spirit & will can avoid this, but lesser men can easily find themselves amidst unsavory thoughts & actions as a result of being cut by the darkness.

( 003. ) / BAD LUCK : Merely catching an Akuma in your gaze is said to bring horrendous luck, which is why Ikra prefers to appear so shapely, young & beautiful, it attracts the gaze of many ( given that beauty in a wasteland is a rarity ) which leads her to play audience as great misfortune falls upon those who unknowingly admire her.

( 003. ) / PYROKINESIS : Control over fire is a natural ability, in mythology the Akuma are said to be fire spirits with flaming eyes & while she doesn’t exhibit these qualities she has been shown to manipulate fire while camping in the desert. It’s a lesser utilized power, but an intense & useful power none the less.

( 004. ) / REINCARNATION : In the event Aku was slain in the modern timeline, instead of dying alongside him, Ikra as the only remaining remnant of evil manifested would gradually assume his former role in the natural order. With his personality destroyed, Aku would not find rebirth in this blooming entity, instead Ikra would be fully independent & possess all the powers & abilities of Aku.

Headcanon / ( 01 . ) : NATURAL INFLUENCE

As an incarnation of evil, Ikra exists as a natural antithesis to life itself & its connection to the positive forces that inspire the wellness of community, the flourishing of ecosystems & the element of “ luck “ one may possess. Aku’s reign over the world enforces his evil on a massive scale , causing calamities on a scale that shifted that terrain of the earth , allowed civilizations to fall under oppressive rule & destroyed many cultures from Jack’s era whos customs , language & histories did not survive to the modern age he arrives in. 

As a smaller yet equally influential being born out of Aku , Ikra’s presence focuses on amplifying or creating maladies to her immediate surroundings, such as the rapid dying of formally healthy crops, increased tension & aggression in the residents of towns, droughts, increasing the frequency of misfortunes ( no matter how impossible the event in question may appear ) & even acting as a magnet for malicious creatures who are drawn to the evil aura of Aku. 

This leads to Ikra mostly pursuing a nomadic lifestyle, not out of any concern for the fate of the places whom fall victim to her essence, but merely because watching the ensuing chaos eventually becomes repetitive & predictable until it ultimately bores her ( which inspires her to seek new destinations, with prime circumstances for emerging strife ).
