It’s beautiful.” Another soft smile, before pulling the little goddess into a hug. “Thank you Sothis. I shall cherish it.”

“Why?" 

Of course she’d be asked  that, and she didn’t really have an answer, except ‘I wanted to.’ Sothis frowned at the reaction though, almost a bit saddened. "Do you not like it? I thought of you when I first laid eyes upon it. You - you don’t have to wear it then, if you don’t like it, Byleth."

Sothis was ever a quiet one, floating around as she did. So the professor didn’t except to feel a small chain around her neck, and the small weight of the accessory with it. With a small start does she gently touch the jewelry, then look back at the small goddess with a confused look.

Except Berith is standing on her left side, so Byleth will (hopefully) turn to see nothing, only for her twin to slide a box of sweets into her left hand... and slink back around to the right side when Byleth's attention turns to the left, in order to place a sisterly kiss on her twin's cheek. Naturally, she's gotta be a little shit about it. "Happy Valentine's Day, sis."

Byleth wasn’t expecting any of it, and she turns right, then left and then back again before letting out the smallest of chuckles at the sudden affection from her sister. She looks at the sweets, and returns the gesture, pecking her sister on the cheek before holding up the sweets. “Want to share for Valentine’s?”
