Hey Junko, its been a while since I last talked to you. I hope things have been going well for you, too. Things got a little jumbled up on my end, but it ended up working out. I was released from the facility last year, remember it like it was yesterday, that calm summer morning.

Some good news: I finally found my family! After all these years of hanging on the slightest hopes of seeing again, I feel a great weight off my shoulders. Now I feel like I can truly start over.

The little correspondence you and I had was a relief. Hopefully I can speak with you with a little more frequency.

I am annoying sometimes.

And that’s okay. It’s not the death sentence I was led to believe. People will love me even if I can’t read their signals sometimes. Not understanding is forgivable. I don’t have to hold myself back so I don’t annoy anyone ever.

The people who love me know I get excited. And I am still loved.

Not even sure if you're gonna answer, but, sometimes I genuinely feel like everyone would be either be better without me or not even notice if I vanished. I feel like everyone (aside from my family and my best friend) only know me as the girl who's smart, draws and has a crush on Mayanne, and I also am trying so hard to keep myself away from going back to self-harm but I feel like I deserve to bleed, if not to die. Sorry to bother you, I just needed to get it off my chest.

Junko: Well I have a surprise for you! Your local former queen of despair is very much still kicking! It’s take a lot to get rid of me!

Junko: You should know that the world would totally be at a loss if you vanished! I’ve said it hundreds of times but your existence is totally unique and super special! There is only ever ever in the history of ever going to be one you. That one you . . . thats you! The person reading this post. You’re the only version of you thats ever going to exist!

Junko: And that . . . that’s amazing. That’s something really special . . . Life is valuable - life is something very special. In a word of totally infinite chances, you happened. I happened. This all happened on the roll of a dice and thats amazing.

Junko: You are placed on this world for a purpose. You may not yet know your purpose - but it is out there. It is just waiting for you. One day you will know why you were here, and you will be glad you stayed around to figure it out.

It’s better to try and do something 50% than to just not try, don’t let the fear of failure stop you from doing something. If you fall behind it’s so easy to just let it consume you but you need to claw yourself out of that mindset inch by inch.

Hey there, we haven't talked in a while. What've you been up to? Summer's just about to kick in after like a month of rain where I'm at. Can't wait for the pollen allergies to hit me again- Myers

Junko: Ah, it’s kinda chilly where I am! The compound’s heating is totally crap so it gets really really really cold. So I've been bundling myself up in a bunch of fluffy blankets to keep warm and cozy!

Junko: Oh! And I got given kettle privileges for my good behavior! I can make myself a nice cup of hot chocolate whenever I want!

Junko: It’s usually coffee, actually. We don’t get a lot of chocolate here...

Plenty of people have done this whole thing before so there are like 100 articles about “common questions asked in job interviews” that could help you out. Generally speaking, you just need to present yourself professionally and answer honestly
