One dragon shuffles silently through carved halls with rolls of fabric dragging listlessly across the stone floor. They hum a tune once known by many as they nod kindly to their plush neighbors whose gleaming button eyes were dim with dust.

Jackal here is a mercenary with the spine of a jellyfish but the confidence of an anime waifu cosplayer. She’s quite the potent telepath when she’s not running away from a fight she more than likely started with her big mouth and overbearing bravado. Her weapon of choice are dagger-like scales that she yanks from her skin, made of the same opal as her pearl. 

Her job is to protect the clan’s caravans but she has frequent run ins with Pepsicola who dealt with her in the past back in the Hewn City when Jackal was a common hire for the local gangs. While Chimera does not approve of them killing each other, she allows them to take their fights outside where Jackal spends the entire bout hiding behind a rock and contemplating how her life ended up at that point.

Imagine:

Pearlcatchers who lost their pearl that keep producing the slime for it. The slime drools from their mouth, coating their teeth… It keeps flowing, flowing, flowing…

Their teeth grow a little bit every day. Shined by the black liquid constantly spewing from the dragon’s mouth. Their teeth eventually fuse, growing into massive, deformed fangs that are made of pure, opalescent pearl.
