I think pete should help clean up at the Center and accidentally pierce the gloves he was given and cut his hand pretty badly and them have to plead with whoever he's working with that saw it to not tell Aunt May and not worry about him. How could he explain when it'll close completely in 20 minutes? Surely he can't risk being caught.
