I'm barely on tumblr anymore, but this made me angry. I'm pro-artist but I've never NEVER harassed anyone for being pro-recast! I believe in being polite to everyone and discussing things like adults, but if you can't deal with someone having different beliefs, be my guest, do me a favor and block me.

How to block anti recast Tumblrs:

First go here and fill the last part with the name of your main Tumblr blog:

Then look for the “Blocked Tumblrs“ option and open it.

We are sure there are many, many more each day using fake accounts (sometimes they abandon one account and open another, some accounts change topics to pretend they are completely different accounts and have nothing to do with dolls) to continue bringing us down on this wonderful hobby. So keep an eye out for them and the first anti recast thing they say, save yourself the trouble and block them. ❤

Remember when you block someone they will not be able to follow you, reply or re-blog, but if they use the specific website address, they will be able to read and see (not interact) everything you do or post in your blog.

As I found a need for it, seeing as people are so easily duped on eBay and will perhaps buy a recast by mistake, because, let’s face it, there are a ton of BJDs listed on eBay. You might find a neat deal and someone new to the hobby will jump the gun and burn their fingers. You don’t always know if a given seller will sell you the real deal or a fake and this is a nice way of gathering all known official dealers into one to make things more manageable.

BJD Chile hosts a photography contests every month. On September the topic was ‘cosplay’ and as I don’t have the time (or the skills) to sew something for my dolls, I thought it’d be funny if I made it look as if my own doll had made their own costume with whatever was as hand. This was Poppy cosplaying as Link from Legend of Zelda with an origami hat and shield. She’s a baby, so if she thinks her cosplay is good enough, who am I to disagree?

My boyfriend thought it was funny, but my cousin got a little bit offended by the shield.

Of course, as soon as I decide that I’m not buying any more dolls  for the moment because I have absolutely no money left, Groove decides to come out with these two beauties.  I’m really tempted to get one of them as I’d have enough time to save up some money, however, I’m not sure which one I would choose. Both speak to me.

Quince could be Luperca’s little sister since they have the same hair colour, but I don’t really like Dal’s that much. On the other hand, I like Lupinus, but I’m not too fond of her hair and eyes and if I’m to buy another Pullip, I’d like to keep her as she is so I could have two custom dolls and two stock ones.

I don’t know, I’ll have to think about it.
