I've been listening to the Under the Dome (by Stephen King) audiobook and have like 3.5 hours left and it is SO GOOD. The story, the characters. Stephen King made me want to become a writer when I was 12 and it's become an integral part of my identity. I've been slacking a lot with creative writing for a bit but this is making me remember why I love to write. Even just listening to his words, living in the world of his characters, it's getting my creative side pumped up.

Also the narrator is Raúl Esparza, who has the most soothing voice in the world and the character voices he does are just great (and sometimes freaking hilarious). I also enjoyed hearing Rafael Barba himself say some weird ass shit like "bitch kitties."

I don't know the ending yet and it may end up being terrible, or amazing, but the buildup to there over the last 31 hours (yes, it's a 34ish hour audiobook) has been so, so good that I don't care. I'll be checking out the show as well at some point.

I personally think that going into Sunrise on the Reaping knowing (for the most part) what was going to happen made it 1000x more heartbreaking
