Hi, this account stays and I will pop in yearly to make sure it does as people are still enjoying the content and the info here. Eobard is still my favourite DC villain, but I have moved on from DC in general. Though I did see the fairly new Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman and Eobard figure set. Has him unmasked with grey hair and I am still sorely tempted by it. But, as much as I am still fond, it just doesn't inspire me like it once did.

Hey there, If you go to my header links and click 'CW stuff', you'll find some too (the tag is cw zoomy). You can check out his instagram. Or there are websites you can google that have Flash and Legends episode screen caps. So you can use IMDB to find out what episodes he is in and then find that episode on the screen cap site.

That's why I like the Dark Multiverse Flash point comic, because it shows what Eobard would do with the death of Barry and I think their take on it is fantastic.

I think the thing that makes Eobard Thawne stand out so much as a villain is that he just spends all day, every day, hating the Flash. He has no grand master plan, no evil ideology, no end goal of any kind. He’s just this empty, rotting pit of hatred and there’s nothing else in there. He has no friends. He has no life. Even Lex Luthor has a job. Thawne has nothing but hating the Flash. He has nearly infinite godlike power and uses it specifically and solely to attack, dismantle, endanger, humiliate, and make miserable every second of every day of the Flash’s life from birth to death. He’ll kill his mother, he’ll push him down the stairs, he’ll alienate his friends, he’ll ruin his baseball game, he’ll stalk him, he’ll bully him as a child, he’ll harrass him as an adult, he’ll write him a weird text, he’ll kidnap his girlfriend, he’ll hold him up in traffic, he’ll shuffle his timeline like playing cards until he finds the perfect sequence of events to make the Flash’s life as miserable as possible, as early as possible, in every way possible, and as consistently as possible. This is the only thing he does and he has absolutely nothing else in his life. He is literally a hater, and his only motivation is to be a hater, and if he hadn’t picked the Flash to be a hater about he would be a hater about someone else. Incredible. Literally no one else is doing it like him and thank God.

I have wanted this figure for so long and was lucky enough to find it on ebay at a reasonable price. Its the Chris Uminga Artist Alley Reverse Flash variant. It comes with a nice signed art card and I'm so glad I finally have it.

Mego Corporation released their 50th anniversary Super-Heroes range, replacing Mr Myxlplyx with the Reverse Flash. Currently retails int he UK for around £22. I do have this, but I'm keeping him in the box as I like how he displays.

I've been looking for a watch. My other RF watch is an alloy and I'm allergic, so I was glad to see this was stainless steel.

I would have preferred if it wasn't a limited run as I would have requested it for Xmas or saved up. I still brought it though as how could I not 💛

There's also a Flash version, natch, but it's not in snazzy yellow.

Wishful thinking

The below panels are from last years DC Round Robin. The entry was called Kid Flash: The Speed of Fear. The concept was that the Reverse Flash had made a deal with Parallax, gotten a yellow lantern ring and caused a massive SpeedForce storm because of it. The upset SpeedForce calls on Kid Flash to help, dragging him across space and time to confront Yellow Lantern Reverse Flash.

I will point out that it isn’t confirmed if this Reverse Flash is Eobard, but to me at least, he is drawn like Eobard. It’s a shame that this never got made properly, but it is currently in the back of the recently released second issue of Superboy: man of tomorrow.

I'm not dead, just not fed. DC really mistreated Eobard during the last official comics run and then effectively killed him by making him a normal, well-adjusted person. The CW show has been getting weirder and worse to the point I stopped watching.

There just isn't content to keep me going. So my love for Eobard is in hibernation. Its there, but my life is also full of loads of other things which bring me joy. I'm not gonna change this account or leave, so yes, I'm here lurking, but until DC gives me something to post about I'm going to be elsewhere fandoming over Mario, our RPG games and Elder Scrolls.

Do you have a fave artist for Eobard?

Bryan Hitch both wrote and did the pencils for Dark Multiverse Flashpoint (kudos to Andrew Currie and Scott Hanna for the inks) and although I'm not keen on the costume change as it is very Kid-Flash, the consistency with which he is drawn maliciously gleeful makes me very happy. So much murder.

I actually really enjoyed the New 52 one. I thought it was a great design.

Are there any versions of Eobard you dont like?

I hate the most recent comic one despite the art being pretty good. I prefer the happy malicious villain of previous comics or of the recent Dark Multiverse Flashpoint over the whinny, obsessed, uwu why doesnt my hero love me, absolute dumpster-fire mess that Williamson wrote.

Also my love of the one played by Tom Cavanagh has decreased with each season of the Flash. Its not Tom, its the writers but the CW Flash has become something I don't even watch anymore.

You've talked a bit about what you think Eobard would be like in a romantic relationship, what he'd want in a partner and what kind of partner he'd be. What do you think he would be like in a parental role? Would it make a difference if he had a biological child vs an adopted child or mentee?
