Fluffvember Illuminate

"You're late, Ophelia," Alphinaud teased his fiance.

"I know," Ophelia let out a giggle. "There was a slight issue with the boat back in Limsa."

The two began to make their way to the estate. Ophelia casually wrapped her arms around his forearm. A soft smile spread across her face.

"So what did you get up to on your travels, my dear?" Alphinaud asked his partner.

"Oh, you know. A little of this and a little of that. Nothing all that major." She squeezed his arm a little tighter. "I am just glad to be home."

Fluffvember Habit

It's been a habit of Ophelia's to tell stories. Ever since she has semi retired, she spends her weekends traveling the realm with her partner Alphinaud. Each time they stop, Ophelia always pull her harp out and tells stories of the Warrior of Light.

Most people just assume she's a traveling bard whose stories have been passed between tavern and tavern. Little do they know each tale she sings about is one she's experienced first hand.

However, none of that matters to Alphinaud. Each tale his lover sings brings a smile to his face. Deep down, he's always known she's had a knack for weaving wondrous tales. It brings a smile to his face each time he gets to listen.

11/4 masquerade

"I am not really that big on dancing, love," She sighed. "Plus, I feel rather silly with this mask on."

"Just follow my lead," he took her hand in his.

"Fine but, no masks," she removed her mask before taking his.

The pair began to dance alone away from the eyes of the public.

"See, you're a natural Ophelia," he gave her a smile. "There was no need to worry."

Fluffvember Clean

Ophelia smiled confidently as she finished cleaning off her counter. Chorse used to be bothered some to the auri woman. However, they've been less tedious as of late. Maybe even enjoyable?

"You're staring my love," Alphinaud looked over at Ophelia.

"Hmmmm?" Ophelia blushed a little. "I guess you caught me. I was just thinking. Don't mind me."

"About what if you don't mind me asking?" He gave her a smile.

"It's just nice having someone to do housework with," Ophelia reflected. "It's nice being able to share these moments with you."

11/3 The Perfect Date

"I don't think I could be any happier than I am right now," Ophelia giggled as she tightened her grip on her lovers arm.

"But we haven't done that much today?" Alphinaud glanced down at his girlfriend.

"What we do doesn't matter. As long as I am with you, Alphi, everything is perfect."

"You see the Twin Adder have long since resided here in Gridania," the elezen who had sat beside her stated.

"Yeah I know. I am from the city idiot." She huffed staring daggers at her unwanted companion.

Thus was the first interaction between Ophelia and Alphinaud. Neither thinking they'd ever see each other again. How funny fate can be.

Shortly after, the pair met up once again now part of the scions of the seventh dawn.

"Fate is funny sometimes," Ophelia lamented as she buried her face into her arm. "I never expected to run into you again, Alphinaud."

"And yet here we are," the elezen chimed in. "Allies in a fight to save the realm."

"Companions both on and off the battlefield." She sighed, a small smile spread among her lips. "I am glad to call you a friend during these dark times."

11/2 Life changing

"Ophelia, I was wondering," the elezen pause to collect his thoughts. "Would you like to go on a trip with me? I am not sure where yet."

The auri woman's eye lit up. "Kugane. We should go to Kugane. I've been meaning to introduce you to my maternal grandmother for a while now."

"Really now?" Alphinaud questioned the young woman.

Ophelia nodded. "She's one of my only living relatives left. I'd like for you to meet her. Plus..." she paused. "I think she should at least get an introduction to the man I am engaged to. I am not seeking her approval just so you know. I just want her to be more involved in my life now that I've finally been able to meet her."

"Yes, you mentioned the two of you just recently got into contact with each other." He gave his wife to be a nervous smile. "I hope I make a good first impression."

"You'll be fine, my love." Ophelia let out a giggle. "No need to be nervous."

11/1 healing

"You're skill are improving nicely Ophelia," Alphinaud commented.

"I would hope so," Ophelia let out a giggle. "We've been co-healing together for a while now."

"You bring up a fair point." Alphinaud a moment to reflect.

"Hey crazy idea, but what if we switched roles every once in a while." The auri woman casual placed a hand on her hip. "I'd love to see you try your hand at being a dancer."

Healing part 2

"Ugh this is so embarrassing," Ophelia let out a huff.

"It's perfectly normal for people to get sick Ophelia," Alphinaud took hold of his girlfriend's hand. "There is no need to be embarrassed."

"Easy for you to say..." Ophelia gave the elezen a pouty look. "You aren't the one who is sick."

"Well, regardless, I am here to take care of you. So why don't you get some rest."

Healing pt 3

"I am here if you need to talk Ophelia," Alphinaud's voice was soft.

"What is there to talk about? My father is dead," Ophelia struggled to talk. "I just can't go hop over to the shroud and see him anymore."

Ophelia turned to face her fiancé, her face was hallow. "He was the only parent I had growing up and now he's gone."

"You don't have to go through this alone, Ophelia. I am here, and I'll continue to be here as you take your time to heal from his passing." Alphinaud reassured her as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "You aren't alone."

10/31 Halloween

"I just love All Saints' Wake!" Ophelia let out a joyful sigh. "It's one of the only days of the year where I can be something other than myself."

"And yet," Alphinaud let out a chuckle. "You choose to be a witch?"

"Yes I did, and I'll cast a hex on you if you try to bite me Mr.Vampire."

10/31 Halloween Alt

"Ophelia, the star princess and her prince charming Alphinaud. No matter the distance, the cosmos could never kept them apart." Ophelia let out a soft giggle as the pair began to dance.

"You are quiet the storyteller Ophelia." Alphinaud gave the woman a smile.

"Every All Saints' Wake costumes has a story behind it Alphi."

"Thank goodness you're safe," the girl let out a small sigh of relief. "Everything will be alright."

His gaze met hers for a brief moment. A sweet smile spread across her pale features. "It's time to wake up sleepy head."

"Alphi, it's time to wake up. Class has been over for a while." She nudged him lightly from his slumber.

"Hmm?" The young man let out a soft yawn. "My apologies, Ophelia."

"Maybe we should stick to day missions. You keep sleeping during lecture," Ophelia let out a giggle as her boyfriend continued to yawn.

"I've been meaning to tell you this for so long just to get it off my chest, but my heart longs for you Alphi" tears began to form on her face.

"Ophelia..." he gave the woman a reassuring smile. "As does my heart long for yours."

"For how long?" She questioned, doing her best to calm the tears from her eyes.

"Since our encounter with Nidhogg," taking her hand within his own, "And you?"

"Since your command of the Crystal Braves," nerves began to calm as she spoke. "I've known since that moment I wanted to be by your side."
