hey so tumblr just added this thing (community labels) and by default ALL these category filters are set to remove anything labelled with these from your feed entirely (not just blurred).

Please remember to go into your settings and adjust them to what you prefer! if you're under 18, you won't be able to adjust them as they are set to Hide until you turn 18

this is what it looks like in settings (i have everything set to Show, the default is Hidden)

Let me clarify something in case you missed. I DO NOT give you permission to post my gifs into twitter, instagram, pinterest, weheartit, facebook, or into your own tumblr if not by the button >reblog<. I DO NOT give you permission to make videos of my gifs on youtube, vimeo, vlive or any other platform. I DO NOT give you permission to use my gifs to ANYTHING that is not related to you pressing that damn reblog button and leave it there untouched on your blog. Don’t even think about saving it and using it to make anything else that is not LEAVING ON TUMBLR. If you think “oh this would look so pretty on my profile on—” STOP. I don’t give you permission to do that. That is my creation and not yours. Please kindly create your own content if you wish to make whatever you want with it.

How I use the gif search function, an overly long illustrated guide

So I am by no means an expert, and there are probably better ways to do this, but I’ve had some success writing meta posts that source specific gifs and I wanted to share my tips, mostly because a few people have asked me how I always manage to find the ones I’m looking for.

This guide is using gifs from The Flash (DCTV) fandom as an example, but the concepts should transfer to anything you’re a fan of or searching for.
