It’s almost been 11 years since I became obsessed with Brian.
In that time I made it through middle school, high school, and college. I got married and started a business. After all this time I still find myself doing research on Brian every once in a while and my heart feels full. I truly think he is one of the most fascinating people because of his complex personality and keen sensibility. This is probably a dumb post but to me he feels like an old friend as he was such a big part of my teenage life. Perhaps I just needed to get that off my chest. I think we would have been friends.

Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver except it’s playing from your neighbor’s radio that you can hear from your back porch, which you sit out on to relax in spite of the loud buzzing from the lightbulb and the hoards of moths that flock to it on summer evenings like this.

‘If anyone was the fifth Beatle, it was Brian [Epstein].” --Paul McCartney
“If anyone earned the title of the fifth Beatle it was George [Martin].” --Paul McCartney
It is so sad to think that as of today both Brian and George are gone. They were both so pivotal to the success of the Beatles.
Over the years I have argued my cause of why Brian Epstein is the fifth Beatle and not George Martin. But today I came to this realization: they were both the fifth Beatle.
Anyone who has contributed to Beatlemania, whether back in 1960 or in 2016, is in a sense, a fifth Beatle. The fifth Beatle has always been a title representing an individual who was just as important to the Beatles as the actual Fab Four themselves. There is no way to compare all those who contributed to the Beatles’ stardom because each role was equally vital.
So let’s give a round of applause to Brian, to Stu, to you...and of course, Sir George Martin.
RIP ♥

I haven’t used this tumblr in forever but guy omg something happened to me for the first time yesterday!!!!
So a co-worker and I were annoyingly singing help and another co-worker who is in her 60s and is super prim and proper walked in the room and finished singing with us. So we started talking about the Beatles and I told her about my obsession with Brian and yadda yadda yadda and she was like “I don’t know who that is” and she turned to her computer and looked him up.
She carefully studied his picture and said “he’s a very handsome and very manly looking man. I could see you guys together.”
MY MOUTH DROPPED. Since October 18, 2009 I have never not even once had anyone in real life agree that Brian is attractive. I'm so happy. It's like I can rest in peace now.
