I didn't get the position although I made it to the final rounds :( I'm pretty disappointed but there wasn't much else I could've done better. My code was solid and they didn't have much to say / or even criticize about it. Oh well :(

I got to the 2nd round!!! Now I just gotta do a PERN stack assignment to showcase my skills 😭 I'm a bit weak at postgre since I've only done 1 project with it but hey i have 3 days to do it so I think I can pull it off 🌞

Just had an interview today for a junior web dev position. I was pretty excited and confident but I think I didn't answer some question properly 😭 I hope I'll at least get to the coding assignment stage :( fingers crossed!!!! I think they'll contact me by the end of this week...

Anyway, fortnight has really grown on me after I watched the mv!!!!! It rly added an emotional layer to it and made me feel more 😭😭😭🩷🩷

Also I made my first bracelet for my fave album 🩷

figured out there was a more efficient way to do whatever i wrote in this 16 files lol. byee.... i wasted 3 days writing these but hey. at least i learned something...

well - i just forgot to put an env variable in my 2nd .env file.

basically i have two .env files that either have localhost or without for static build, and i created a new api route without updating both files lol...

Last night I did an oopsie

and deployed this project at 3am after only checking that it works on my pc (lol).

I previously did all the logic in the front end, but moved them to the backend.

I used lazy rtk query within useeffect to trigger fetching and rerender upon selection, which is something I freestyled and actually have no idea if I'm allowed to do lmao. This is why you don't deploy at 3am.

my preferred stack: react with typescript, express, mongodb (MERN).

I actually started with C language, and it taught me so much esp. pointers & mem management. I didn't fall in love with it though - and switched to web development. Started learning react with University of Helsinki's course, and found out that I reaaaaally love doing this! so I'm doing small projects here and there to learn more in general.

besides coding, i love cooking, running, and hoping to go back to bouldering one day. i play the piano a bit and also draw here and there!

i used to play ffxiv a lot - and hopefully i can get back into it when the next big expac comes. right now i'm more into city builders :3
