More House MD daughter au:
He teaches her to swear at a young age and often uses her as a way to vicariously insult others—plays it off as “kids, amiright?”
Letters home from school begging House to teach her not to rip into the other students’ insecurities so specifically
Cuddy is the default babysitter, but not by choice (cue House coming up with elaborate, incredibly unserious ways to force Cuddy to watch her)
Wilson is Uncle Jimmy.
She doesn’t learn the ducklings’ first names for years, assuming that Chase, Cameron, and Foreman are their first names
They play a game where House lists symptoms and she guesses what the illness is (she almost always just guesses sarcoidosis) (she does not know what sarcoidosis is)
House brings her to work because it “makes him look busy so people leave him alone”
When she does visit PPTH, House has her say “bad idea” after every suggestion the ducklings make, regardless of what they come up with
House teaches her how to forge Wilson’s signature and Wilson never suspects that she’s been stealing his prescription pad (for Vicodin purposes ofc)
Cameron eager to be the favorite but often coming off as the “give me a hug!” aunt
Wilson is Uncle Jimmy.
Chase and Foreman being the actual favorites bc they undermine House’s authority constantly
Picking up Chase’s accent and slang (like when kids watch Bluey or Peppa Pig)
Uncle Jimmy.

I really like the idea of Spider-Man being the vigilante equivalent of that one friend who just walks into people’s apartments without warning as if it’s a normal occurrence.
Like sure all the vigilantes are super territorial, X-Men keep to themselves, and the Avengers are super exclusive. But Spider-Man? The guy swings around New York like it’s his personal playground. What are you gonna do? Tell Spider-Man to get lost while he’s fighting Dinosaurs in your borough and dismantling dooms day devices?
The guys been around for years, never kills, avoids conflict when possible, is insanely skilled and his nickname is literally “The Neighborhood Friendly Spider-Man”. You couldn’t make an enemy out of him if you tried.
Cue Spider-Man sitting inside of a NYPD station reading through files and chatting up detectives as if there isn’t a active warrant out for his arrest
Cue civilians being okay with Spider-Man randomly sitting on top of their cars while they drive and kids playing punch Spidey instead of Punch Buggy.
Cue Daredevil getting into a argument with Frank on a rooftop about morality spouting how Hell’s Kitchen is under his watch and nobody else is allowed. Then Spider-Man swinging past them greeting Daredevil brightly and squeaking out something adjacent a explanation that typically consists of three words.
Cue Spider-Man just being inside the Avengers tower rummaging through drawers and reading files, making eye contact with a teammate before resuming his task as if he’s ment to be there.
Cue Spider-Man climbing through a window into the Baxter building like it’s his own house and lounging around while he waits for Johnny to appear or Reed to show him something in the labs.
Cue Spider-Man walking around the X-Man mansion asking people if they’ve seen whichever X-Man he’s currently hanging out with.
Cue Spider-Man in a literal bar for mercenaries asking where Wade is somehow not getting attacked immediately.
Cue Spider-Man walking into a SHEILD building with zero identification just because he has something he wants to tell Nick Fury.
Cue Spider-Man being spotted sitting on helicopters and eating inside of diners regularly.
It shouldn’t matter what age, timeline or universe this Peter is inhabiting. He should just constantly be on someone’s private property without a care in the world.
I do think it’s funnier if it is MCU Peter and if does this as a civilian as well but regardless he should just enter locations for the fun of it.
New Yorkers should be able to walk into their apartment, see Spider-Man sitting on their couch and not blink twice.

i think that one of the best parts of superman (2025) was that i saw eve taking selfies everywhere and immediately thought “isn’t that a security risk? what if her phone gets hacked??” and WOUNDN’T YA KNOW IT…

Been thinking about how the new Superman movie did a really good job of giving Clark interests beyond “Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow.” He likes pop punk rock. His favorite meal is breakfast for dinner. Clark does a little dance when he gets the front cover byline. He likes to doom-scroll. Unclear if he’s a dog guy. His girlfriend makes him hot cocoa when he’s sad. So often Superman in film has zero personality beyond tortured alien that must guide humanity. Giving him these small details made the character feel so much more real. He really is just a guy doing his best.

Only one person died. Only one singular person. In a superhero movie! The type that love to throw around casualty counts like it’s all a big game, waving off 70 people being killed in a handful of days like it’s no big deal, yet only ONE PERSON died.
And he was mourned. Superman cried for him—this stranger who gave him free falafel and, while facing death, told him that he still believed in him. Metamorpho, this cold-seeming man who is being actively blackmailed to do this, breaking down and taking the risk to believe in Superman, too, because seeing someone murdered right in front of him is devastating enough to take the risk. The newspapers run a front page article talking about how they’re going to memorialize him.
The stakes didn’t have to involve real actual loss of life. The threat of it was enough to convey the severity of the situation. Because human life is that important. All life is that important, at least to Superman who goes out of his way to save dogs and squirrels.
(Hawkgirl does kill SHEIN Netanyahu but genocidal dictators don’t count as human beings lol.)
