Hi. You’ve just stumbled upon my little room on the internet. I’m Lysander Eros, and I go by he/they as my pronouns. I keep things quiet here: just stories, thoughts left ajar, and things I leave on the windowsill for anyone passing by. Just a heads-up, please don’t try to peek too far into the closed doors. Some rooms are private, and I’d like to keep them that way.
I’m over 24, in case you’re wondering. Sometimes, things get a bit mature in tone, so enter at your own risk. If you ever feel out of place here, B-UB/soft-blocking is perfectly okay. Think of this page as a quiet home, not a hallway. You’re welcome to stay, but please come in gently.
ā€œOh, you're so amazing ...ā€ Hit play before you reach the door and let the vibe hit first!

The front view of my house which I designed myself. Picrew by cherrysungho.
You finally come over from the house next door. I’m a little nervous. My place isn’t fully put together yet, and a few moving boxes still sit quietly in the corners of the room. You seem warm, easy to talk to. I try my best to seem relaxed, guiding you to the couch in my living room while I quietly set out the snacks and drinks I’d already prepared on the table—just in case today would happen.
You: Wow, your house looks just as interesting inside as it does from the outside. The interior really makes me want to get to know you better, Mate. You seem like the kind of neighbor who's easy to talk to.
Eros: Haha, thanks for saying that. I appreciate it. I try to keep things comfortable here … a little quiet, maybe. I’ve always looked up to BOYNEXTDOOR, especially Taesan. He kind of inspires how I carry myself. I’m usually a bit reserved at first, it takes me time to warm up. Most people have to make the first move. And honestly, I burn out quickly after conversations, typical introvert things. But once I’m comfortable, I can talk for hours in the living room, usually with music looping from my speakers—producer line’s masterpieces on full rotation.
You: So you're a real fan, huh? Now I’m curious, are you into any other groups?
Eros: Definitely. Before I got into BND and moved into this neighborhood, you would’ve been overwhelmed by how many EXO posters I had in my room. I even keep their music downloaded on my phone just so I can listen to it while I’m on the go. Their angelic vocals need to be heard through proper headphones, anyway. aespa, too. Both groups have that same thing I really value, like catchy music, charming and fun personalities. Watching them interact with fans or each other always lifts my mood. And if I’m being honest, I’m also into EXO-CBX, NCT DOJAEJUNG, izna, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, BABYMONSTER, and NewJeans. Their songs are so addictive.
You: You described them perfectly. I totally get it. I can already tell—you’re an SM and HYBE stan.
Eros: Haha, I don’t really prefer that label. I don’t like all the artists. For example, Jung Kook has always been a favorite—back when he and his group were still posting song covers on SoundCloud. These days, I’m more into him as a soloist. Their group music just doesn’t click the same anymore, and to think I used to listen to their songs seven days a week back then ....
You: Finally, someone who gets it! Their older stuff really hits differently. I kind of fell off after following too many survival shows.
Eros: Speaking of which! Lately I’ve been hyping Boys II Planet. I’ve got a few trainees I’m rooting for. You know what’s wild? Back in I-LAND and The Dream Academy, my picks all debuted—seven out of seven for ENHYPEN and six out of six for KATSEYE. So maybe I should start picking again. You know, for the universe’s sake. (laughs)
You: You're basically a psychic. So you’re a fan of both groups?
Eros: That’s … tricky to answer. I’d say yes, but not fully. I love watching KATSEYE’s clips on my timeline because the members are fucking hilarious. But I don’t really listen to their songs that much. With ENHYPEN, it’s the opposite. Their music’s always in my playlist, but I don’t keep up with their behind-the-scenes stuff. Everything’s gnarly!
You: Na na na na gnar— okay, I’ll stop right there. We’ve got some things in common already. Anyway, you mentioned playing music out loud. Doesn’t your family mind?
Eros: Oh, they mind. (laughs)
You: (laughs)
Eros: But what can I say? I love the music! Sometimes my family makes me play old songs and Indonesian songs—my personal faves are those from the 2000s, Sheila On 7, Hindia, and .Feast, then we end up singing them together in the living room. Other times, I’m in the mood to listen to random English songs like PARTYNEXTDOOR, The Weeknd, Chase Atlantic, Tinashe, Chris Brown, MCR, Oasis, Carpenters, Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, no na. Just so you know, I’m a sucker for local pop, indie, rock, and alternative R&B and soul in general. It all depends on the weather in my head.

Music does help fill in the quiet when I’m home alone or even just going about my day, but honestly, for me, music alone isn’t always enough to kill time or keep boredom away.
Outside of music, I find joy in other things too—mainly anything related to films, series, books ... and AO3.
When it comes to what I watch, I’ve got a soft spot for horror like ghosts, gore, and mysteries are totally my thing. But maybe it’ll surprise you that I also have a mellow, slightly childlike side that loves romance and fantasy. I guess I enjoy imagining things that feel far from reality.
As for books, my taste is all over the place, both fiction and nonfiction. But let’s be real, I’ve kind of left all the academic stuff gathering dust on the shelf. I’d much rather pick up something more enjoyable. Metropop is my go-to genre.
That said, I don’t actually watch movies or read books as frequently as people might think. I’m the type who relies heavily on mood, and if the mood’s not there, no matter how good the story is, I’ll probably leave it halfway and come back … weeks later, maybe. Or not at all.
It’s not that I don’t enjoy them—I do, deeply. But I have to be in the right headspace to really feel what I’m watching or reading. That’s why I don’t go on too much about this part of me. It’s more of a quiet comfort I return to when the time feels right, not something I force into a routine.

If you can’t respect privacy or personal boundaries. If you have a habit of peeking through windows that aren’t yours to look into, or opening doors that were clearly meant to stay closed, please don’t make yourself at home here. Don’t touch things that don’t belong to you.
If you’re planning to rent out or sell your house. I don’t want to suddenly wake up to a new neighbor I never agreed to live beside. It changes the feel of the neighborhood and not always for the better.
If you’re rarely home as in distant, just passing through, or never around. It’s hard to grow any kind of connection and build anything meaningful across the fence.
If you don’t like the people I’ve filled this home with. Mocking my faves or what matters to me, there’s no need to ring the doorbell.
If you carry hate through the front gate. This home stays closed for homophobic, racist, Islamophobic, etc.
If your values don’t belong in this neighborhood. Tone deaf people and those who are supporting Zionism and 02 kindly keep walking past my door.
If you fall under other common ā€œDo Not Enterā€ signs. I kindly ask you to respect this boundary.
