so i am.... admittedly most familiar with the later seasons but! i am currently doing a full rewatch of the show so it’s Okay

she’s set during... season 4 about not that that’s a Huge deal as she doesn’t have her memories

she was born and raised in sunnydale, a lovely little town situated directly on top of the hellmouth

weird stuff always happened as a result, more often than not involving vampires

willow is a witch, and an exceptionally powerful one at that

like... i’m p sure she ends up as, like, the most powerful witch in the world

but! this doesn’t come without some consequences, ie getting addicted to magic at one point

she’s a complete sweetheart, but don’t get on her bad side

there’s a disparaging look sent around as madison steps out of the drake.  she’s happy as can be to no longer be in hell again but that doesn’t mean she’s a fan of the time she’s been pulled to.  “there has to be somewhere i can get a drink in this city,” she complains loudly to anyone who can hear.

loki’s brows furrow in a moment of confusion, wondering why clint barton would ever want to help the god like this, even if he was also in trouble, before the full realization of what the other man said hits him, and the god cracks a grin.  “that sounds like a terrible plan, but i am good at pretending not to hear people when they’re talking to me.”

anxiety is something of a familiar feeling to the god.  it’s also something that he’s usually good at hiding from other people, so it’s a bit of a surprise to find that the girl, who’s a stranger as far as loki’s memories serve him, can pick up on it so easily.  “that is... one way of putting it, yeah.”

“figure that one out all on your own?” the witch asks, tone less biting than it normally would be.  madison’s eyes wander around them, taking in the city.  it doesn’t seem like hell - she’s not in a store and there’s no endless line of complaining customers, just for starters - but she could be wrong about that.

surprise, bitch. i bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.

so quick bit of backstory - she’s an actress (a child star) and is rather well known for her partying habits.

madison was sent to miss robichaux’s after she killed her director, which led to the full realization that she’s a witch

she and one of the other witches there, zoe, go to a frat party.  while there, madison is drugged and gang raped.  in retaliation, once she’s conscious enough, madison flips the bus that her rapists are on, killing all but two of them

a short while later, it turns out that a new supreme is rising, a supreme being the most powerful witch in the coven

all of the witches at miss robichaux’s think it’s themself, basically.  that they have what it takes

madison’s powers were growing, a sign that she could be the next supreme, enough so that the current supreme noticed

but the supreme, fiona, didn’t want to give up her power or position, and so she ended up killing madison

madison is eventually brought back to life, and is back in the running to be the next supreme

and madison has zero qualms about killing off the competition - namely, misty day

when it’s eventually obvious that madison is not in fact the next supreme, she gets pissed and threatens to expose the coven to the world, but. unfortunately she is killed (again) before she can

this second time she’s dead, she winds up in hell

her own personal hell is working retail, which man is that relatable

michael (the anti-christ) shows up and saves her from that

but... unfortunately for him, madison works with the coven to try and stop michael

they fail at first and the apocalypse starts.  rip earth

but they’ve got a bit of a plan to... reset the timeline, and long story short, madison ends up sacrificing herself to slow michael down to give the others a chance

and then madison is back in hell, and that’s where she’s at these days!!

a few important things to note about her??

she’s got a noticeable scar on her neck from when fiona killed her

madison would describe herself as a “stone cold bitch” but she does have a bit of a softer side, especially after she came back to life again, and is kinda regretful over what she did and how she acted in the past

“it’s most definitely magic.  but i’ve encountered magic before, and we were able to harness it and use it to help develop more technology.  magic is science. everything has a reason, whether it be truly rational or not.  we can all agree that there are things we have yet to understand.  a lot of people don’t agree with the science that i know to be true from my adventures, because they’ve never seen it.  so, yes, it is magic.  but it still has some kind of scientific explanation.”  pidge exhales, having overexerted themselves with such extensive ramblings.  they clear their throat and look up at the other.  “i’m sorry.  i’m katie.  but please, call me pidge.”

“don’t tell me that you think magic and science are one and the same, you ignorant child,” loki says in response to their explanation.  “you can get many of the same results from science that you can with magic, but don’t think they’re interchangeable.  they’re not.  magic isn’t just... science you don’t yet understand.  there is so much more to it.”  she gives a brief pause, a short internal debate over whether she should explain just what magic is to the other.  “my name is loki.  i’m the norse goddess of mischief and stories.”

ellie has been waiting patiently for the man to move out of her way.  maybe it’s just her, but she doesn’t think that standing just inside the store, writing something is more important than letting people through.  “look, man, can you just - fucking move?  please?”  the last word is a clearly tacked on afterthought.

     kol  is  smiling ,  his  pen  rushing  across  his  paper  as  he  lets  his  words  flow  from  his  mind  into  a  more  PERMANENT  format.  this  poem  in  particular  is  about  the  way  the  wind  and  the  leaves  dance  together  in  a  lazy  waltz.  it’s  very  over  the  top ,  but  everything  is  over  the  top  for  the  mikaelson.  the  person  beside  him ,  he’s  hardly  even  noticed  them ,  and  it’s  quite  rude  of  him ,  because  he’s  very  much  in  their  way.

loki prefers magic to science.  magic is something she can work with, something that she knows how to manipulate to get what she wants from it.  science and technology... she can usually get around those with magic.  the goddess knows spells to get cell reception anywhere (but not any time), spells to bump up wifi speeds - almost anything one might need in the twenty-first century.  “maybe science can’t explain it,” she says in reply, hardly even sparing a glance at the other’s paper.  “maybe it’s all just... magic.”  that would make to most sense to her.

     “  no ,  it  just  doesn’t  make  any  sense.  think  about  this  SCIENTIFICALLY  for  a moment ,  would you?  there’s  absolutely no  scientific  or  rational  reason  for  us  to  be  stuck.  ”  pidge  lets  out  a  heavy  sigh  as  they  scribble  on  the  loose  piece  of  paper  before  them.  “  if  you  calculate  the — ”  it’s  only  then  that  they  realize  this  probably  isn’t  making  any  sense  to  the  other — it  never  does.  “  going  right  over  your  head ,  isn’t  it?  ”
