Man, when I was like 16 I got so sick of being made fun of for being the fat kid that I took an axe down inna woods, chopped down a tree, and started doing log-lifts all the time. I got strong as fuck, but I didn’t lose no weight. I actually got bigger.

Same thing happened when I got into fighting. I got even stronger, and I got *fast*, man, and nimble, like a cat. Still chubby.

Body-building culture is a bunch of crap, my dude. Functional muscle is not necessarily toned or lean. You can be swole as hell and still be heavy. And that’s cool.

Just to show the process a bit more. Darkest Dungeon Dark Knight as a process! Start with a gpose, add filters to reduce color variance and add lines (and then aggressively clean up because it will put lines in the wrong spots too). Then add colors as a layer to clean up, add contrast, and further simplify the color palette. Draw in extra dark shading too! Lastly, add a color dodge layer and use an airbrush/soft brush tool to add highlights!

And wha-bam! Darkest Dungeoned... at least, as best as I can do. XD

Literally this. Even if you don't care a single ounce about being nice to yourself, give yourself rest. Machines have to be turned off and cool down sometimes, a car needs to get its oil changed, to think that you don't need to offer yourself any maintenance is just going to cause you to break down and stop functioning one way or another. So yeah, if you're not managing to get the work you want to get done, done, probably need to see about putting some maintenance into yourself.
