The Alpha and Omega series by @mercys.garage set in the same world as the Mercy Thompson series and is just as fantastic as it. #AlphaAndOmega #LoveThisCouple#ParanormalMystery #CharlesAndAnna #ParanormalRomance #ParanormalRead here is my review of book six, #WildSign I remember one of the reasons I didn’t pick this back up right away. This series had me starting to dislike Bran. But after this most recent book, I actually like him again and I’m starting to, not like but maybe understand Leah. This book had me crying in tears. There is so much emotion, emotional pain in this book. These two want a baby so badly, I mean almost all the werewolves seem to want children so badly in both this and the Mercy Thompson series. But I feel for these two because Anna is dead set on making it happen for them with all her research. She’s even been talking to Her brother-in-law, who we know desperately wants a child as well. That being said, it comes up a lot, and in so many different ways. Patricia Briggs is just such a fantastic writer and I absolutely love this world. I love every one of the characters in this world. But Anna and Charles have become my favorite characters in this world by far. I definitely never want this series to end and I cannot wait for the next book. The Avery Shaw Mysteries by @amanda_m._lee is one of my all time favorites. I know, I know more Amanda M. They are just too good. Oh Avery! Damn I love her, she is my spirit animal for sure. I’ve always fancied myself Han Solo as well 😆. Avery Shaw is freaking awesome, she’s outspoken, brazen, full of spunk and will chase down any lead to be the first to scoop a story. Often times to her own detriment. She makes friends and nemesis every where she goes and loves to get the last word, even if it’s just giving you rope to hang yourself. Avery’s dogged personality, and wild antics tend to make her either absolutely lovable or despised by people. Her co-workers don’t much like her, and her college ex is her archenemies (whom she’s constantly making either cry or look like a complete fool of himself). But the county sheriff is also one of her best friends (having a complicated lifelong relationship with), and her family is outright ridiculous and hilarious. Seriously this series has everything I have ever wanted in a cozy mystery romance. But I’ve also absolutely loved watching Avery and all the secondary characters grow. Since book one they have all grown and/or matured in different ways, although some things (all the good stuff) never change. This series is definitely worth reading, over and over again in my opinion. Amanda M. Lee is hands down my favorite author. Everything of hers I read, I absolutely fall in love with. This series is one laugh out loud funny mystery after another with just a smattering of silly/cute romance thrown in. This is The Adventures of a Vegan Vamp series by #CateLawley and it’s a pretty entertaining series. #VampireRead #VeganVamp #ParanormalRomance #ParanormalMystery #ReluctantRenfield #FunnyRead This series is decently entertaining, and funny. Mallory is all in her head, all the time and it’s a funny place to be. But she is also strong willed and caring. Things I feel happened after her change to vamp. The characters and storylines are great and the secondary characters are what really make this series. The writing and world building are well done and have kept me coming back to this series every time a new book comes out. I have an obsession with paranormal cozy mysteries and this is one that I enjoy. This is A Witch on the Rocks series by Lily Harper Hart, also know as @amanda_m._lee The first book, Tall Tails and Witchy Fails, is a fantastic read and made for the perfect start to this series. This review is for book two, Witch at the End of the Tunnel, which I also absolutely loved! Our main characters are fantastic and the tension between them is palpable! #WitchOnTheRocks #LilyHarperHart #ParanormalRomance #CozyMystery #ParanormalMystery #ParanormalRead and here is my review… Woah, that was not the ending I’m used to getting. It did not at all feel like that story line got wrapped up at all. It makes me all the more curious about the next book! You tricky author, you! I am loving these characters, Hali and Grayson have perfect chemistry. They give great banter all while still looking out for each other. They manage to drive each other up the wall on purpose and give off so much tension you can feel it in your cheeks! Not to mention the storylines, these cozy paranormal mysteries are good enough to keep my attention even without the romance. These action packed stories have plenty of magic, sleuthing and funny and sometimes dangerous accidents by Hali our not so practiced witch. If you love cozy paranormal mysteries this is definitely a series to start reading. Don’t worry even though there are only two books out Lily Harper Hart/Amanda M. I had to reread book two to get a refresher and as usual the cliffhangers are epic in this series. But the cliffy at the end of this book is particularly brutal, because so much is happening in the last chapter. With all the chaos and, dare I say, havoc going on when I read the last words my reaction was not good. At first I flipped the page just because I didn’t realize that was it. Then I flipped back to read the last sentence and then I may have shouted “No” and tossed my kindle not so gently. That’s how good the writing has gotten in this series. The books feel way too short because the writing sucks you into the story and you can’t put it down. I’m so invested in this series now that I can’t not know what happens to them all. These characters are so gritty and real, that you relate to them very easily. At least for me. The storyline isn’t so far fetched that it’s actually believable and that makes it easy to feel invested. Now I just feel like I’m trying to justify my outburst at the cliffhanger. This is the Jacky Leon series by @knbanet and no big surprise, since I’m reviewing book 8, I love this series. #JackyLeon #JackyAndHeath #ParanormalRomance #MixedParanormalSpeciesLove #MonsterLovers #ParanormalRead and here is my review of book 8 #BitterDiscord I love this series, Jacky is so independent and headstrong. But she loves and protects fiercely and without judgment those that she befriends. Heath is a perfect match for her and I’m glad that their love is blossoming, despite all the difficulties they keep facing. Jacky is growing closer to her family and I love that, it’s too bad her father is so disapproving now. I hope things don’t get worse when secrets come to light in the future. These books are fantastic because they are full of action, adventure, mystery, drama and romance. The blending of families is a huge thing in this series, due to the way werewolves and especially werecats are made and handle their lives. It’s beautiful how non-judge-mental most are in this world when it comes to that and who you love (well gender wise at least, not species). The writing is fantastic, as is the world building and storylines. The characters are perfect with such a mix of personalities, backstories and inner conflicts. And after reading this “prequel” and the excerpt for Inextricably Tied, I am immediately diving into that ASAP! Not only are the characters interesting and complicated as all hell, the heat is 100% off the charts. Add to that, that the premise/storyline that I managed to glean from seems to be original and intriguing. I definitely can’t wait to dive into their full length novel and see where this goes. Highly recommend giving this a read and dare you to tell me you feel any different than I do about it! Review for: Inextricably Tied Wow, so many emotions. This has an amazing plot, fantastic characters, good world building and is sooooooo smexy! I could not put this book down, I finished it in 4 hours. If that doesn’t tell you how good it is, then I don’t know what will. I love how Harbinger and Flint take charge right away. Harbinger just gets a plan in her head and is like yup this is happening. Flint is so protective of her and I love that too, and Agony is like a puzzle piece that just makes them all fit right. This book is seriously amazing, the detective work, the way all their powers work and the back stories. Perfection. Then we get the spice level, which is secondary to the actual storyline but just as integral, so freaking HOT. I’m talking panty soaking HOT. But more than that, they are intertwined by circumstances and the evolution of that is beautiful. This is Around the World in 80 Men and from what I can tell some of it was written by Brandi and @author_rebecca_ratliff a mother daughter team. But somewhere along the way Brandi’s life got too busy and Rebecca has continued the series alone. This series has great characters, lots of different dangers, adventures, laughs, romance and smexiness. The first few books weren’t as good but as the series progresses it gets better and a real storyline starts to shine through. I’m definitely more excited now that we are more than half way through the series. I look forward to reading how the storyline plays out. Morgan’s character has developed so much, she’s become a very strong and determined woman. I love it, and the friendships she’s made. The romantic entanglements are complicated but not at the same time. Morgan has learned what she wants and how much she can handle. I’ve enjoyed the drama of Tanner, the love of Finley and the adoration and friendship of Angel, Sebastian and the others. I’m also starting to get anxious about all the things piling up in Morgan’s life. I hope things pan out in a way that Morgan wants or plans. Here is Lethal Heat by @alexlidell @maydawsonbooks it’s a standalone Omegaverse book in the Bonds of Steele series. I believe it is a six book series, with each book being written by different authors. This is the only one I’ve read thus far and I will definitely be reading the rest in hopes they are all as good as this one! #OmegaverseRead #CyanIsAwesome #LethalHeat #BondsOfSteele #Omegaverse #SmexyRead I’m not normally one to pick omegaverse books. Not because I don’t like them, but because they aren’t usually my first choice in reading and they don’t always have much of a plot. But this is a great read. The plot is definitely there, and the characters are really good. I adored Cyan from the very start. Sneaky little card shark and escape artist that she is, with an attitude all her own. She has a chip on her shoulder and enough bravado to prove herself. As for Grey and the twins, I actually really liked them too. Their stern yet playful demeanors and the way the authors had the twins on the same level as Cyan with the training made them the perfect cohorts when she needed them. Yet with their previous experience and having Grey as their alpha made for a uniquely different relationship with Cyan. The whole thing was intriguing from the start and had me sucked into the story right away. Here is my review of #MidlifeMagicHunter What!!! Tears, I’m seriously crying right now. This is one hell of a book. I love this series. The characters are some of my absolute favorites (#TeamCrash from the start), the world building is phenomenal and the overall story arc is one hundred percent original and enthralling. You cannot ask for more, there is non-stop action, romantic tensions, love, friendship, betrayal at every turn, ghosts, witches, all types of Fae, zombies, vampires, sword fights, and a skeleton horse! This journey the mystery, tricks, double crossing, and heartache were particularly brutal. I’m so glad Bree has such a wonderful group of friends to help her through all the hurts and battles she has and is still facing. This read was a complete roller coaster and this group never seems to get a bit of rest. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series, I need more Bree and Crash! It’s adorable! I also love the mystery and drive to find their bad guy as a team. Their friendships are sweet and reflect on their personalities and the world building in these books, it’s amazing. Amanda M. Lee is an amazing writer, I love all her books. She always picks fantastic locations but in this series she’s created her own tropical supernatural island home for all these amazing characters. Nothing is better than that! If you enjoy sleuthy witches, werewolf boyfriends threatening to propose marriage, Cupid’s with a spotty past, half demon’s that can create weapons from fire, sirens, and shark shifters working together to take down murders, and magic evils. The Wonky Inn series by @jeanniewycherley is a funny, quirky and cozy mystery. #TooCute #ParanormalMystery #ParanormalRomance #WonkyInn #TheWonkiestWitch here is my em review for the series… This is an entertaining series, funny, full of mystery sleuthing and a bit of romance. The writing is great, the world building is awesome and the characters are fantastic. Some of the first few books are pretty short reads but they get longer and better as the series goes on. I really like Alf, she’s wonky 😆 she’s silly, smart and sarcastic. All the inner thoughts kept me completely entertained and her reactions to things are hilarious. Every secondary character is equally amazing and hilarious. The male characters are the calming and balancing influences on Alf and company in her ghost inhabited Inn. This is the Tess Skye series by D.N. Erikson and it’s a freaking awesome series. Not really a romance but does have a few love interests that come through. Also book six comes out at the end of this month (September 30th). #TessSkyeSeries #AwesomeRead #ActionPackedRead #ParanormalMystery #HighlyRecommend and here is my review… Tess is a serious bad*ss, with an awful attitude problem. And I freaking LOVE her! I absolutely loved this book, I love all the books in this series. But this one is amazing. These characters are awesome, but the storylines are what make these books. Full of non-stop action, adventure and sleuthing murder cases. Tess’s powers are so unique and make every book completely interesting. All the trouble she finds herself in during every investigation makes for a bit of humor to offset the bloody gun and fist fights. Seriously this series is full on, non stop and 💯 worth reading! This is Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic. It is book three in the Cambric Creek series by @cmnascosta and, news flash, I loved it 😆 to no one’s surprise I’m sure. #WerewolvesNeedLoveToo #MonsterLover #SmexyRead #CambricCreek #ILoveLowell #MoonBloodedBreedingClinic here is my review… Yes! I knew I loved Lowell, just from the bits and pieces of him or how he was explained/talked about in other books. So far he’s my favorite Hemming, by far! He’s sweet, silly and romantic. Moriah is a perfect fit for him too. C.M. Nascosta has done an amazing job again. The storyline is perfect, so many emotions and I loved every word. I wasn’t expecting the ending to turn out exactly the way it did, but it was better than I imagined it. Nascosta’s writing is so good that you get sucked into the story and can’t bring yourself to put the book down. I definitely recommend this read, and as I love every book in the Cambric Creek world I always recommend them all! This is Grunge by @roxycollinswriting and it is awesome! #GoblinRead #MonsterLover #SmexyRead #ParanormalRead #Grunge #BackyardGoblinGods here is my review… This is an awesome read. Roxy Collins has given us MCs, action, violence, romance, strippers, a magical world under our feet. We also got a sweet sibling bond, family betrayal, sexy green goblins in a whole new way and so much steam! These characters are fantastic, the rituals are perfectly thought out, the world building (in both realms) is brilliantly done as well. The emotions are well written and the storyline is amazing. This is Roxy Collins first book and I am soooo excited to read more by this author.
