Anyone who knows me knows that I firmly believe that Bark is actually mute and he’s not silent by choice. I also love the headcanon that he’d use basic sign language.
So, stemming from this: I can’t stop thinking about the idea that the ONLY person Bark trusts enough to be his interpreter is Bean. He doesn’t trust anyone else.
Simultaneously, the only reason Bean isn’t twisting Bark’s words at will, is because Bark is the only person Bean actually respects.

seeing posts abt peoples imaginary friends is so ❓❓❓ cause everyone says they like pretended to have theirs and made them up themselves and didn't actually see them. which is fine and dandy and awesome and good 4 them But like 5ish year old me actually did see shit. like translucent tiny cartoon characters that floated around me and that I had to go out of my way to tell to piss off one day cause I actively struggled to keep track of them all.
And like ive been doing mental health mental illness figurings-outs for several years and I have Not found out what the deal w that was in the slightest
#one time as a kid I was eating broccoli cheese soup and I had to stop because the flecks of pepper kept morphing into ants#and then there was another time where I had to sleep in my moms bed because I kept seeing scary faces form legitimately everywhere I looked#even when I closed my eyes they kept forming. like I was on acid or something it was horrible.#i had to be like 8-ish at the time of these incidents though so perhaps these incidents are not normal.#probably medication side-effect related.

#you know I was gonna say something like 'maybe they're just rushing'#but dude I no longer believe that. my supervisor at work is 40-50 year old woman who has worked in section 8 housing for years.#and when I first got hired. I legitimately had to explain to her. the difference between 'too' and 'to'.#she didn't believe me. she called her wife for her input. just to make sure I was right. like it was some groundbreaking idea.#I STILL have to proofread all of her notices before she sends them out#because I'll be damned if I hand out an eviction or a warning letter that has 10 fucking typos. have some professionalism Jesus Christ.
