So far it’s pretty nice! Fairly temperate but can get cold at night.

Not sure about quarries or mines… Allie would probably know more about that tbh. I do know about a few mineral galleries in the city that are pretty cool tho!

If she is, she’s going to have her condition named after her. I’ve done some reading on neurodivergence, (suspecting I may have some form myself) and none of them really line up with what she’s been up to.

The running theory that a lot of us at Team Magma has is that she's actually a robot. She always has this dead-eye'd stare about her, not to mention she speaks like a computer terminal.

That is really not even the half of it. By far the worst thing is her bizarre obsession with my father. The only time she isn't acting like a robot is when she is acting like a dewey eyed school girl. I have read that this sort of behavior has it's own internet terminology by the name of "Simping". It has caused a notable rift between me and Courtney from infancy! Imagine! Having "beef" as they call it, with a one year old, because I take up the attention of my father, thereby causing her to receive less.

The. Tomfoolery. Is. Exceptional.

My father has none of that sort interest in Courtney, so to speak, so it all ends up being quite tiresome.

Alright, I have been having a bit of a strong urge to go visit Unova. I would very much like to scope out the region and see if any of the universities there have a good degree in geology.

I know the area has a reputation for being kind of rough, but I think I'll be able to stick it out. Having a fresh start where people get to know me before my affiliations is also an exciting thought.

I'm going to propose the idea to my father as a touring of colleges in the region to find the best fit. This is certainly one intention of mine, as the college hunt should be first priority, but... Well there is some selfish intent in visiting the region I suppose. :-)

The question of legendary pokémon experiences was recently asked to me, and the subject has grabbed my interest. Have you ever gotten to meet a legendary before, Aura?

I've never met one up close and personal, but I have had an encounter.

It remains one of the most vivid memories of my life.

I was only about eight or so, and I was playing in the forest behind my grandmother's house at dusk. I remember everything going still and silent, and I felt like someone was watching me. When I turned to the west, about fifteen meters from me was Xerneas, watching me through the trees.

I don't know how long I stood there watching it, time kinda didn't exist for a bit there. Like everything was holding its breath.

By the time I realized it was gone the sun had fully set and my older sister was yelling my name frantically. When she found me she whisked me back to the house. I didn't speak for seven hours, (yay autism!) and when I finally did I told her what I saw. No one in my family believes me, but it's true.

one of the eeriest, most beautiful things I've ever seen. I've been told that Legendary encounters mean something, like, something big, but I've never been able to figure out what Xerneas was trying to tell me.

i just meant people thinking they can use a fuckin master ball on a legendary. there was a big issue about that when some kids went legendary hunting in a remote area and they apparently had a master ball.

totally different story if they chose you tho, thats their business.

why is it seen as acceptable for people to own legendary pokemon?! those are mythical chunks of history that people are trying to use as pets! it shouldn’t be a hot take to ban the owning of legends
