Hello all and welcome to Essek Week 2025! This event is a revival of @essek-week , an event that was very important to me when I first entered the fandom and produced some fics that are still favorites of mine to this day 💜💜

So, when are we celebrating Essek this year? For 2025 (and hopefully in years following), Essek Week will run from Wednesday, November 19th to Tuesday, November 25th. The 19th is the anniversary of Campaign 2, Episode 117, when Essek first reappeared via Sending for the first time since before hiatus!

As for prompts, check back here next week, Friday, July 4th! They’ll be posted sometime midday*. Turnaround time for @shadowgast-week-2 was fairly tight, so I wanted to give a much longer window for this event. Also, as before, a huge thank you to @wanderingbasilisk @spottedenchants @marymauk and @rainbowcaleb for helping brainstorm prompts! 💜💜

Finally, check out the companion to this event, @widogast-week ! That will be running during late September, with prompts dropping the same time as this event’s!
