They are so very important to many people and I am honored to have been watching them for as long as I have. I hope their soul is resting well and is happy and healthy. Hello everyone, I know this post is probably going to be a massive gut punch to some folks. Others may not even know who I'm talking about, but I will share the news regardless.

Yesterday, I and many others within the Discord server of YouTuber, Streamer, and dear friend StealthPengu received devastating news. Pengu's boyfriend Ian found them dead in their home, and so far doctors have suspected it was a heart attack. That's about all we know about what has happened. Mods and Ian told us yesterday what happened, and on behalf of them and the rest of Pengu's loved ones, please do not harass anyone of them at this time as everyone grieves. I have told you all that we currently know through the Discord as of this time.

I know I myself am heartbroken at the loss of a dear friend and am still very much reeling from the loss. I share the news here only because Pengu did have a small presence on Tumblr for a while and some fans of theirs may still be here wondering what's happening right now. Send regards, love, and prayers to Ian, his family, and Pengu's friends and fans during this time. I am deeply sorry to be sharing this news today, but someone had to.

Rest in peace Pengu, Kris, my dear friend. I'm glad to have known you for as long as I did. I'm glad we became friends a few years ago shortly after you returned from your hiatus. I'm thankful for the kindness, fun, inspiration, and more that you have given me and so many others. We will all miss you so much, and will do our best to keep your legacy strong, alive, and ensure you are remembered. We binches miss you.

Imagine the first time your robot/mechanical f/o trusts you and feels safe enough to let you help with repairs or maintenance. Especially if your f/o had been harmed before and/or has issues with trust. To have someone they know will treat them well and not like a disposable object is an important feeling to them.

Robot/mechanical f/o who can't physically feel holding you tightly, maybe even just a little bit too much, out of a desperation to be able to truly feel your skin, touch and warmth, despite knowing it's not possible

Imagine showing your child f/o things or games you liked when you were younger. What would their opinion on it be? Do they also end up enjoying it or is it not really their sort of thing? Maybe its something they like but prefer doing or watching with you.

You could also take them out to places you find nostalgic, even if its not the same as it used to be you could still have fun with your child as you show them the area and talk to them about your past experiences

You can create new memories with them that may even remain with them their whole life

You and your f/o being out at night standing or sitting by a lake as the stars reflect upon its surface and the sounds of crickets in the distance can be heard

Having a robot f/o I sometimes like to hold the devices I'm using up to my ear and listen to the (usually) quiet whirring it creates and imagine being close to or holding my f/o

Imagine your smaller pet f/o on a countertop/table/fence, you go up to them and as they attempt to nuzzle you they fall off directly into a trash can that was in front of them

Imagine you and your F/o going to a playground on a warm night and just hang out. You two sitting on the structure talking/info dumping about whatever you want or playing on the actual equipment reliving your nostalgia, going to the swing set, goofing off in the wooded areas "sword fighting" with sticks. Anything you wish, free of judgement.

There are fireflies surrounding you looking like the stars are surrounding you, you may turn this into a romantic moment, cuddling and holding hands with them or you may try to catch them. Before going home you may get some ice cream or whatever cold treat you both prefer. Just having a nice night out with them.

You leave a place of high stress and are upset or overwhelmed by what occured there and decide to visit your parental F/O(s). They are of course happy to see you but notice something is wrong as you sit together.

They will listen to you vent or rant all you need and won't disregard your feelings. They can hug you if you are comfortable or talk about other topics as distraction. They may bring up something you liked to do as a child and if you want they can do that thing with you again. They may read to you, watch various shows with you or even play little games with you

They'll do anything to help. They'll always love you.

If your f/o plays an instrument imagine them playing a rendition of your comfort/favorite song after a hard day. If they don't then imagine them holding you gently or just being near you while listening to said song.

My f/o is traumatized and I want so badly to just be there for them, hold and comfort them and tell them how much I adore them. To let them know that's it's ok to be vulnerable and that experiencing negative emotion isn't "being a downer" or anything like that. To help them feel truly safe and that they belong. I want to help them heal. They are such a sweetheart and they didn't deserve any of what happened to them
