Literally could not have described the gone characters better. This is exactly how I imagined them, especially Diana, Lana, and Brianna. 

How did you imagine each character?

I always find it interesting when me and my friends are talking about characters and how we imagined them :)

ooh i like this!! i'll do the primary characters that i think of

sam - dirty blonde/light brown hair, kind of shaggy and it goes to the nape of his neck, it's rather messy and you can see a line of hair going down before it thickens. his eyes are slightly lidded so he always looks tired, which he is, and his lips are cracked. his skin color is super uneven, some if it is like, light peach but most of it is tanned to certain degrees from being on his board so much. he has a lean but muscular physique, but you can't really tell unless he tenses. long legs and long arms

astrid - blonde hair almost platinum, it goes down to the small of her back pre-fayz. she usually straightens it but sometimes she leaves it wavy. her eyelashes are always curled perfectly and her gaze is sharp and attentive, which can be off putting. pale peach skin, she's not tall but she's not short either. her nails are usually filed to perfection

caine - his hair is a very dark brown, so dark it looks black from a distance. it clips off at about his ears and he has it split down the middle, so it kind of curls two different directions at his forehead. his gaze is always snide and calculating, which is definitely off putting. if he looks at you, you're super fucked. his skin is slightly lighter than sam's but darker than astrid's, maybe a light olive color. people joke that he's a vampire. he's tall and where sam slouches down, he stands up straight so it's very hard to ignore him

diana - her hair is the color of dark chocolate, although it's layered with different shades of brown. her eyes are very dark and very cold, and her lips are perfectly pink. her hair goes down to the small of her back. she has long legs and her skin is kind of a light brownish color. she's very snide and piercing just in appearance, and similarly to caine, she carries herself well

drake - drake's hair is a sandy color but with less warmth. his eyes are just brutal, there's nothing in them so he's scary to look at. his skin is tan, slightly lighter than sam's, and when he smiles it's with teeth. he's pocked with scars and handsome in a brutal way, like the way you think a shark is pretty. he's doesn't have much body weight on him, he's more lithe than muscular, and his fingers are long but thin. he's not very strong but he's clever and he's not afraid

edilio - dark brown hair, slightly lighter than diana's. it's very curly all over his head and he brushes it behind his ears a lot. his expression is always humble and he hardly ever smiles, and there's slight stubble on his upper lip. his eyes are very warm and he's nice to look at, he's very clever and precise in his movements and very thoughtful in the way he speaks and moves. he doesn't slouch like sam but he doesn't stand tall like caine, he's somewhere in the middle and not so noticeable. when he smiles his eyes crinkle

dekka - her skin is very dark, like coffee. she usually does her hair in box braids that hang down to about her chest, and she'll pull them up into a bun or ponytail when she needs to fight. her expression is fierce but not cruel, she's just very reserved. her eyes are nearly black, and they're neat to look at. she holds herself not for flash, but just to show she's not willing to face a challenge unless it's on her terms.

brianna - a small girl with reddish hair and a face splattered with freckles. she looks innocent if not for the crazed grin she always wears, her lips are thin and so is her body. she's rather tall for her age, and even before the fayz, she was a good runner, because she's quick and tough. her shoulders never slump and she's very brash and pointed, a bit like an arrow. her hair is wavy and there's freckles just underneath her eyes that look like flecked constellations

lana - lana's skin is more of a caramel color, but with less reddish orange and more brown, like toffee. her eyes are deep-set and intelligent, and she scowls a lot more than she smiles. her hair is straight and parted in the middle, it's dark brown. she's rather tall for being a girl and so she tends to slump a little because she doesn't like being especially noticed unless she seeks it out

howard - curly dark hair, it's not full like edilio's though, closer to his scalp. he's slightly chubby and has stomach rolls pre-fayz. a charismatic air about him, he's the bark and orc is the bite. brown skin lighter than dekka's, more like milk chocolate.

I stumbled upon a fan made animated series version of the Gone series & when I tell you how much I adore Lana…she has such a warrior’s heart. She has gone through hell and still manages to heal people :’) ALSO I remember not liking Diana a lot when I was little but I think it’s just because I couldn’t understand her at the time but now that I’m older and realizing that she went through starvation, cannibalism, teen pregnancy etc. i can see why she is the way she is & how resilient she is. She’s misunderstood just like everyone else honestly but YEAH THAT’S MY SPILL FOR TODAY HAHAH
