After six years you decide to end it all, not because you have another but you fall out of love with him.

A sigh escaped your lips as you look at yourself in the mirror, the longer you stare the more uneasy you feel. Your mind is filled with questions.

Why you’re not beautiful enough, why do you look this way not pretty enough like those other girls. Maybe if you look like them, you would love yourself more.

A frown appear on your lips as you got lost in our own thoughts, that you didn’t even notice Dan Heng enter the room. He nod with enthusiasm

"Big sis told me about you, you're big brother Dan Heng. The handsome brother"  as a wide grin plastered on his lips

Dan Heng looks up and meets your gaze as the corner of his mouth rises.

"Stop!! I-i didn't say that" you stuttered as a  reddish shade tint your cheeks while you approached them

"You did!, you even said he looks handsome when he's ser-" you place your hand on his mouth to stop him from talking.

Watching you bickering with your brother is such a rare sight.

In the midst of your bickering, Himeko called you out to ask for some help with an errand.

You entrust your brother to Dan Heng for the meantime.

"I'll be back as soon as possible. Sorry for passing him to you"

"Don't worry love, I'll take care of him" he reassured you

You press a kiss on his cheeks to say thank you. Before leaving you told your brother to be good.

Dan Heng brought him to his room, seeing all different kinds of books and some techs he never seen before.

He pointed out the Data Bank, asking Dan Heng if what's that for.

"That's for work" He answered

"Can we access it?" The boy looks at him with pleading eyes that makes it hard for him to say no.

Instead he look for a thing that can shift his attention away from the Data Bank. His gaze lands on books full of stories

"That book is rather more interesting" Dan Heng grab the book of stories and gave it to him

Seeing the title, he excitedly opened the book to read it.

They settle down on his bed. Leaning their back on the shelves beside the bed.Dan Heng picks up is own book and they engrossed themselves in reading

For some reason he was curious on what you've been telling your brother.

"What did she say about me" Dan Heng asks

He ponders for a moment on what to answer

" She met this amazing, intelligent and handsome man. That for some reason loves her so much. And she also told me i'll like you and guess sis was right" he answered smiling ear to ear

Warmth enveloped him, he really does love you but at the same time you do too as well.

They return their attention to the book they're read. Silence filled the room again

You just finished the tasks and walked back to his room. A gasp left your lips  the moment the door opens

They're sleeping, your brother leaning his head on his shoulders. Blanket wrapped around both of them.

Not wanting to miss the opportunity, you grab your phone and snap the photo of them.

You approached them and placed a kiss on their foreheads as you said good night. Before leaving you look back one last time.

You're really lucky to have Dan Heng by your side.

You left the room with a smile etched on your lips.

HSR-Scenarios

Dan Heng x Reader

🌟 : alone and severely wounded, you got separates when the automaton ambushed your team.

In your state, you'll end up dead if you keep on fighting these automatons. Seeing an opening you use that chance to make a run for it . Until you stumble upon an alley as your hiding spot.

The scent of blood assaulted your nose as you reached out to check the bleeding wound on your waists.

Its deep and it won't stop bleeding

This time you don't have anyone to rely on but yourself. You don't even know where they are. While being ambushed you three got separated.

You ripped out the fabric of your skirt and wrapped it around your wound. Applying pressure on it hoping the bleeding will stop.

Learning your back against the wall, as you sit on the ground. Exhaustion is taking a toll on you. Still you avoid closing your eyes fully.

Dan Heng keeps searching for you, he has a bad feeling that something might have happened to you.

He cursed under his breath as another Automaton stopped him

"Stop getting in my way" he screamed as killed it

Turning another corner but alas you're not there.

He destroyed the barrel near him to soothe his anger, the unsettling feeling grew stronger by the minute.

"Please be alive" he mumbles.

He continues to run around the city until he finds you. Searching high and low he finally found a familiar figure.

Your eyes are half close and your holding your waists staining your hands with blood.

He gently pats your cheeks trying to wake you while calling out your name.

Hearing a familiar voice slowly opens your eyes.

"Dan Heng"

Soon after you pass out

The next thing you know, you're lying on the bed of nat's clinic. Dan Heng sitting beside you, his eyes are close still he didn't let go of your hand.

"Dan Heng" you called out

He snaps his eyes open and looks at you

"Are you in pain, i'm going to call Nat" he stood up ready to call her.

You stopped him and told him it wasn't needed. You never see him lose composure like this.

Dan Heng sat beside the corner of the bed and held your hands

"I thought I lost you" his voice cracked

You didn't know what to say, cause deep down you thought you didn't survive too.

Dan Heng leans down and presses his ears on your chests so he could hear your heart beating on your chest. This is the only proof that you didn't leave him.

What you don't know is that Dan Heng almost lost it when you passed out. He screamed your name. His body kept trembling as he  brings you back to nat's clinic

March came to the clinic after hearing what happened, She saw him holding your hand and never leaving your side.

Dan Heng x Reader

🌟 : its his first time to slow dance with someone

✨: thinking out loud - ed sheeran

After some missions, you spend time lazing around in his room.

Sitting in between his legs as you aimlessly scroll down your phone. While he's engrossed in reading a book.

An idea all of a sudden crossed your mind. You look up at him with a mischievous grin playing on your lips

"Shall we dance?" you ask

Dan Heng put down his book and looked at you in disbelief. As if he heard something unusual from you

All of a sudden you grab his hand urging him to stand. Before playing certain music on your phone.

"Don't worry, I'll teach you" You place his hand on your waists and encircle your arms encircle on his shoulders.

He resigned to his fate and let you whisk him away.

Steadily you began slow dancing but for Dan Heng all he could hear is the loud beating of his heart

His movement is so stiff that he accidentally steps on your foot

"I didn't mean it" he apologized

A chuckle escaped your lips seeing him like this. You couldn't believe your all knowing boyfriend ended up getting all worked up because of a slow dance.

"Relax love and just enjoy this" you reached out and cupped his face.

Seeing your smile eases his heart, he relaxes his body.

You put your head on his chests, and sway in tune to the music.

In the midst Dan Heng heard you humming and singing to the song playing with your eyes close

Take me into your loving arms.

Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars

Place your head on my beating heart

I'm thinking out loud

That maybe we found love right where we are, oh

His heart began to race but for a different reason.

Dan Heng x Reader

🌟 : he got jealous since march have been taking all your time

How many days has it been since March took all your time that you usually spend with him.

Maybe a week but for him it felt longer. If you’re not with March you spend it with Himeko, Welt and Pom-Pom. The only time you’re with him is when you’re sleeping next him.

Some foreign emotions keeps bubbling inside of him as others keep taking up your time. The feeling of resentment and bitterness slowly consumes him. Dan Heng knows he shouldn’t feel this way to the people he treated like family. But he couldn’t help it.

It’s the first time he ever feel emotions like this because of someone.

Dan Heng slowly open his eyes and his gaze lands on your peaceful sleeping face. It’s such a rare occasion that you weren’t awake by now. He pulled you closer and buried his head on your hair inhaling your unique scent. Unable to let go of your warmth, he decided to sleep for a few more hours

But it was cut short as March knocks on the door while calling out your name

“No” he whispered as his arms tighten around your waists.

He doesn’t want to let you go, he only wants to stay like this with you.

“What’s that noise?” You rubbed your eyes and looked up at him.

Dan Heng didn’t answer, selfish as it sounds. He wanted to say it’s nothing cause if he told you the truth you’ll be taken away from him.

Still he couldn’t lie to you so in the end he told you the truth.

“March was looking for you” he said as a sigh left his lips

You pulled away from him as you look at the time. Realizing it’s past ten minutes of the time you both agreed. You quickly left out of bed leaving Dan Heng alone as he watches you get ready.

“I’ll meet you later tonight” you leaned down and kiss his lips before leaving his room.

He started to feel that way again, and he hated it.

Dan Heng tried to keep himself busy to brush those feelings aside, he tried and failed cause whatever he do his thoughts leads back to you. Unable to take it anymore, he went to March room to talk to you.

“What brought you here” March answered the door as she blocks his way.

He look over her shoulder and found you. Looking startled as you hide something behind your back.

“We’re working on something, if it’s not important. You can asks later” March said

He couldn’t argue with him anymore as the scene earlier replayed in his head. You were hiding something from him. It wasn’t supposed to be big of a deal but it he feel bummed that you trust march more than him.

The door in front of him closes and all he could is watch. He stood for a moment before going back to his room.

“Did he saw it” March asks while looking back at you.

You didn’t answer and stare at her in a daze. Cause you knew he didn’t explicitly saw it but he caught you hiding it behind you’re back. Nonetheless that wasn’t what bothered you, it was the fact his expression darken as he caught you.

A sigh left your lips, it’s better to finish this today so you could explain everything to him.

Standing in front of his room, you grasps tightly on the book on your side. It’s the thing you’ve been working with March this whole time.

Hoping he’ll like what you prepared for him.

The moment you enter someone grabs you wrists and enveloped you in a hug. You lose your grip on the thing you’re holding as it fell into the ground. Suddenly you feel his lips against yours.

Dan Heng pulled away and buried his face on the crook of your neck.

“I didn’t mean to disturb you, it’s just that” he look up and met your gaze. “I got jealous” he confessed.

You giggle, it’s the first time you ever seen him like this.

“So the reason you went to there earlier Is to take me away” you asks

“Kinda” A reddish tint covered his cheeks.”Then I saw you hide something from me”

You step back away from him to get the book that fell into the ground,

“You mean this, I hide it cause it’s my surprise gift for you. This what I’ve been working with March.” You reaches out and gave the book to him

Dan Heng opened it and it’s filled with the picture of the both of you. Some photos have Himeko, March, Welt and Pom-Pom. They also have short messages for him. But most messages are from you.

Hehe! You should smile more :)

My love for you is like the starts their endless

I love you and only you. Thank you for making me happy

You asked him if he liked it but instead of answering Dan Heng pulled you into a hug and kiss your lips. With his loss for words you already have his answer.
