A friend posted about his top 5 things from the first week of 2020-- inspired! What have been the top 5 things that made you happy this week? Below are mine: 1. Finding out that getting my 🇧🇪 Belgium residency 🇧🇪 will be easier to get then I originally thought! By July 📆 I should be a permanent resident in Europe 🌍, so that was exciting ☺️ to find out. 2. Connecting with Harm on ✨ NYE ✨: After a fun party and a ton of dazzling fireworks, his friends went👯 dancing 👯 at a club, but we went home. We listened to music 🎶 and had a very lovely evening 💋 ♥️ 3. Yoga yesterday: I have been practicing in Harm's place in Eindhoven, but it was really wonderful to go back to my 🌿 practice space 🌿 in my apartment. While yoga is 80% internal 🧠, it made me realize that the 20% for setting can really make a difference on my practice. 4. Jelly the dog: Ok, it's been like, 2 months since I met Jelly, but every week I grow to 💗 love 💗 her more. She is the best dog, so sweet and fun and well behaved. Last week she took a 👣9km walk🐾 with me, and was such a trooper! Even though she was tired 😪, she didn't complain and made it to the end. I ♥️ Jelly. 5. 🎶 Running playlist 🎶: I have a cracking running playlist I made this week which has been super fun, not only for running: but cleaning and private dance parties too! Chock-o-block with energising tracks from bands like Queen, Lizzo, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, and Imagine Dragons Thanks Pieter Ants for the inspiration ☺️ https://ift.tt/39OKCQf

My top 9 Not the 9 most liked or commented posts, but the nine posts that mean the most to me for 2019. 1. Harm and I. Meeting Harm has absolutely made this year. He is my favourite man on the planet, and it was such an easy pleasure to fall in love with each other. 2. Yoga. This orange mat from @biancaluna.fabris became my second home in 2019. Hours and hours and hours of practice. #dailypractice 3. Club Mate. While there is nothing special about this Club Mate in particular, this summer I switched channels. and embraced sobriety. I have an occasional drink for celebrations, but it was a defined and conscious decision to leave the alcohol on the shelf in 2019. 4. My beautiful Brussels friends. This photo features @chipperdrifter, Jitka, Flavio and Luciana. 5. Me in a big head in Krakow. The trip to Poland was gorgeous, and this is one photo I particularly liked because it is fun and surreal. 6. Sunshine and I in Nimes. We spent weeks travelling hundred of kilometres around France. Spending time with my older sister was a rare and special experience. @hildebrandtsunshine 7. Parc Cinquantenaire with a book and my bicycle. I spent hours this summer having out in parks, soaking in the sun, and riding my cycle--what a wonderful summer! 8. Jelly giving me a kiss. Jelly is Harm's Scottish Bearded Collie, and she is the most wonderful dog. Full of love. @floppymoppyjelly 9. Jelly and Harm in the sun in Eindhoven the weekend we met. Because I am a romantic, and I think they are beautiful. There is was! A year summarize in a handful of photos. My younger sister wants to see more perogies on her Instagram feed, and because I love her a bunch, I am going to post a photo from my last trip to Poland. These potato and onion perogies were from a milk bar in Warsaw. Milk bars are Soviet-era canteens, where you can get a traditional lunch for a few złoty. They've had a recent resurgence, because they have a unique retro feel, are inexpensive, and super filling. I am heading back to to Poland next week and have already made a list of where to find the best plant-based perogies, and am hella excited, because they are in my top 3 favourite comfort foods. The Parvis St.Gilles. About 8 years ago, I met a beautiful, sandy haired artist on the Parvis. He was crazy and imaginative, and I liked his sparkling eyes.
