I met mama swift in Glasgow in 2015 for the 1989 tour. SHE WAS THE LOVLIEST LADY! My pink poster was the first poster I created for one of Taylor’s concerts (I’ve never been very creative). Now it’s only 2 days till I see Taylor again and i’m so excited! I’d love to see Andrea again and show her our picture from 2015. I’m attending Manchester night 1 and sitting in block A7! 🐍☺️💕 @taylorswift @taylornation

So…I don’t really spend a lot of time on Tumblr but I am always on Twitter loving and supporting @taylorswift along with loads of other really amazing Swifties. However, it seems Taylor picks most of the people she’s going to meet before and after the show on Tumblr, so I’ve decided to give Tumblr a go and compile a list of some of the amazing Twitter Swifties I’ve had the pleasure to make friends with that really deserve to meet Taylor this tour! @taylornation

Dear Taylor,

Hi Taylor! My name is Emily and I am a 20 year old college student from Massachusetts. I have been a fan of yours since I was 12 years old! I first saw you on the Fearless tour at Gillette Stadium. From the point forward, I was sold. So let me just say, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I cannot even being to explain the joy you bring to my life. The things you do for your fans are incredible. I admire all the time, energy, and heart you put into making sure your fans know you are there for them. It’s too bad the media puts all their energy into spreading lies or stretching the truth when there are so many more important things they could be talking about.

One of my favorite memories is at your 1989 night 2 show at Gillette Stadium. During your Clean speech, tears were flowing from my eyes. You were saying how every single person there had something that they had overcome. I couldn’t help but think about my freshman year of high school. It was a rough time for me, but you were right, I overcame it. I was so happy to be at that concert, standing next to my mom, singing and dancing to all your songs with you. It was honestly one of the best times of my life and I am so grateful to have been there. I also happen to be at the infamous rain show on the Speak Now tour 😉 …I had the time of my life dancing in the pouring rain with you!

I am now going into my junior year of college. Every time I am having a bad day, you bring my happiness back. I am so so so excited to see you again with my mom @gillettestadium night 2…section 133, row 20, seat 13!!!!! My mom is such a fan of you too, so we have made it a tradition to always go to your shows together 😊 I can not wait to see what you have in store for the rep tour. I know it is going to be absolutely incredible. If I ever had the chance to meet you, I would want to thank you…but I probably would be too much of an emotional wreck. So, this is my thank you. Thank you for being so great and thank you for being you. Until we meet in person and make this picture real…

Dear Taylor,

Once upon a time, in 2008, a girl was listening to the radio and heard a song. The song was about a girl and a boy meeting when they were young and falling in love, it was a love story. The girl found out it was by an artist called Taylor Swift, someone she had never heard of. She loved this song so much that she began searching for Taylor’s other songs and discovered there were so many more songs by Taylor and didn’t go to sleep till she had heard them all. Her love for Taylor grew and grew over the years and got stronger and stronger. She was finally old enough to go to her first concert, Red. However, she was unable to afford a ticket. Regardless, she still dreamt of finally seeing Taylor in person some day, whether that be next week or in 50 years.

Her dream came true. On June 23rd 2015, the girl attended Taylor’s 1989 concert in Glasgow. The second she saw Taylor walk onto that stage it was like a dam had been broken, tears streamed down her face during the whole of Welcome To New York! During the concert she spotted Taylor’s mum near to where she was sitting, so she ran so fast past the security towards Andrea. Of course, Andrea was waiting with her arms wide open ready to give the girl the biggest hug as if they’d known eachother forever. Andrea asked the girl if ahe wanted to watch the rest of the show with her at the front of the stage and they danced to Out Of The Woods together like old friends. Unfortunatly the girl didn’t get the chance that day to tell Taylor her story and how amazing her mum was but she new the day would come eventually!

By 2017, the girl new every word of every song of by heart, but not for long. A new album came out and of course the girl just had to have this album, and in the end, ended up with 5 copies of the CD! She was exstatic and could not stop listening to Getaway Car and Ready For It. When the news broke out that there would be a tour, well, what can I say, she was over joyed. Yes, this might finally be the chance she’s been waiting for to tell Taylor how incredible she is in person. The girl booked her tickets as soon as they became avaible and hasn’t stopped thinking about it ever since.

If you haven’t guessed already, the girl is me.

@taylorswift I love you more than words could desribe and would love to tell you that in person some day. I can’t wait to see you in Manchester on 8th June!!
