As a memoriam for TDP: Xadia, here are all of the things my son** has said while watching me play:

Oh, good! I’m glad you picked her. I like her look the best.

Is Rayla a kid? She’s kind of a kid. [Rayla slish-slashes] I can’t do that, though.

Mommy, there’s a bird following Rayla! (Baby Messenger Crow!) What kind of bird is that? Does she have a name? I’m going to name her Mila. Is there a budgie in this game too?

Is that Rayla’s home? [I assure him that Rayla does not, in fact, live in a lava pit at the Border. I play the next mission in the Moonshadow Forest.]

Oh, this home is better. Is that her grandma? (Maggs) that’s her grandma. They live in that house. (It was a tent.) She’s breaking her own stuff though.

Does Rayla celebrate Hanukkah? Yeah, I think she celebrates Hanukkah. Fluffy was her present. That’s what she calls Mila.

Do you ever play anyone else? Is that Rayla’s dad? Play Rayla’s dad! She’s really tired.

[lying in bed at 9:30] whelp, I got nothing else to do. I’m just going to watch Rayla until I fall asleep [falls asleep on me]

I think I’m going to miss that most of all.

Area budgies need your help to defeat Xadia bosses! If you’d like to lend a wing to this adventuresome duo, kindly let their pet human know. They can tell me which button to push.

They boldly adventured an entire ten inches from their cage, so you kind of owe it to their unparalleled bravery.

ETA: Area budgies have not stopped chattering since I posted this over an hour ago. Area woman desperate to know what kind of conversation has them this animated.

Okay, I gotta defeat this Blacksteel Forgemaster but I don’t have any friends.

My game handle is DesignatedBar.

Of course, in real life I have multitudes of dedicated friends but they’re all busy right now and anyway, they go to a different school and you don’t know them.

I’m Zeph dressed as a peacock. I haven’t played them in Forgemaster yet, see above problem, but they’re a TANK with mad health stats, so I might be a decent teammate, even though I am old and sometimes, like your grandpa, I push the wrong button.

ETA: okay, I got in there once and I just need 97 more tries to get it right I will go until we’re done. I’m mediocre but I try so hard.
