Film Thoughts: Spider-Man: Homecoming
5/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I would like to start this off by saying, I am a huge Spider-Man fan, he is absolutely, without a doubt one of my favorite superheroes in Marvel. So when I heard Spider-Man was going to be filming in Georgia I was really excited, applied a million times to be background or a stand-in on the film and finally got on it. The day before I was actually on the set for the first time I saw Captain America: Civil War and left the theater with quite a Marvel high. Things could be better? Could this universe be good again after the crap show that was Age of Ultron? Oh, how naive of me.
Now, I don’t want to make this post about my time on set but I will mention it quite a bit because it did affect my viewing of the film. I already knew quite a few spoilers going into the movie that I normally wouldn’t have known about due to being an extra on it and nearly being in some pretty pivotal scenes. So let me break down what I knew going into the theater for this one:
I knew that Peter was on a decathlon team and was struggling to stay apart of it
He took Liz to the dance then left homecoming
Complete scene in the hall where Ned asked Peter to build the Lego Deathstar with him and they talk about his internship with Stark
The decathlon trip becomes quite a mess and people nearly die
What actors were playing what characters (other than the Liz twist)
Peter likes Liz
Captin America had a cameo in a gym class video
Tumblr media
Pepper appears at the end for 5 seconds basically
A bank gets robbed
There was a fight with busses
A Manhattan ferry gets broken in half and Iron Man saves the day
All of this kinda seems like a lot of disjointed information to prejudge a movie on but, it’s something when you see it all and hope it comes together better than you’re actually seeing it get filmed. I knew I was going to get spoiled working on the movie as an extra but I really didn’t care at the time. As I worked on it however I started to worry the movie would be all too campy. I once actually heard the director ask for something to be done again, more comical this time. Ug.
Spider-Man: Homecoming was met with a wave of approval and that I, at first, thought was the correct reaction. Sadly that high of seeing a superhero movie faded off within ten minutes of me leaving the theater.
I wanted it to be good. I did. But it just wasn’t.
Tumblr media
There’s a trend in 2017 ‘blockbusters’ that I’ve seen, and it really started with Spider-Man: Homecoming. The trend is: Let’s take classic movies we know people love and have grossed a lot, that all those tropes and cliches and pound our audience in the face with them over and over and over because WHY NOT???
These are the tropes and cliches aka things that make this movie unoriginal and predictable as hell:
nerd likes popular chick he will never have a chance with
80′s & 70′s music ( just because Stranger Things is popular so all things 80′s MUST sell right???? RIGHT??? )
Hero thinks he can do everything because of his powers then realizes his power is himself or something we’ve ALREADY SEEN
Dance scenes
Detention ( because you have to have detention scenes in high school set movies )
Crappy coming of age dialogue aka “I can do this.” “I’m not just a kid.” “Why don’t adults let me do what I want.”
Cheese best friend who is just a punchline and has no serious character aka Goofy Sidekick
There are a lot more but you get the point. There was not much originality to this film at all. I’m trying not to compare it to any of the other 5 Spider-man films but, it’s kinda hard not to. And the fact is? I’d rather go watch Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 or the good 2 Tobey Maguire movies ( we won’t talk about that 3rd one ).
All around I felt like this movie fitting into the MCU that Marvel has going on ( especially after watching Civil War and Doctor Strange ) just doesn’t fit the tone. They tried to give this movie some serious moments but it was just as serious as Troy Bolten’s moment in High School Musical 2. You know which one I’m talking about. Yeah. That one. I’m not totally hating on this, I know it’s a Spider-Man trope thingy, I’m just kinda tired of seeing it...and it made me think of High School Musical.
Tumblr media
In Spider-Man one of the biggest deals to Peter Parker is keeping the people around him safe, not only in the comics but the other movies as well. He keeps his identity a secret from everyone as long as he possibly can. So it really irritated me when he flippantly was talking about it in the back of a bus with the rest of his classmates all around at full freaking volume. Ned finding out by accident was excusable but how he reacted with it was just irritating. His character was just extra trouble for no real reason.
Tumblr media
If you didn’t like the bad dialogue just wait about 5 minutes and you’ll get an overstimulating, over-animated, all in focus action scene just because that’s what hero movies are all about right? The one scene, in particular, that was tough to watch, just because of a number of bright colors and everything is in focus was the fight on the plane with all the Avengers gear.
Speaking of the Avengers, did you know that Spider-Man is in the same universe as them??? Because they act like you don’t. It’s in no way an easter egg, it’s overkill. They beat you over the head with the fact that the Avengers have been around. I’m honestly scared to see a count of how many freaking times the Avengers are mentioned in the movie. We get it. Move on. This was just a blatant overly happy directorial choice I strongly disagree with. Sony might have owned Spider-Man but now that it’s all in one universe doesn’t mean you have to tell us that every ten minutes of the movie.
Tumblr media
And I think it’s total BS to say that the little kid in Ironman 2 is Peter Parker.
  Don’t get crazy.
There were some other good little ‘easter eggs’ that were cut short. Shocker being one of them. I would have loved for them to have left Logan Marshall-Green as Shocker for a later film instead of just killing him off and passing the mantel so fast. Shocker has not really been explored before in film, it would have actually been very original of them to do that. But no. I was wrong.
I did, however, enjoy the nod to Miles Morales. Donald Glover played Aaron Davis, who is Miles’ uncle in the comics. This clearly meant they were pulling more from the Ultimates comic series. It was a cool little tip of the hat to Donald himself, who everyone wanted to play Miles because the artist who first drew him even said that he used Donald as a sort of model for Miles. That being said, I still think I would have liked a whole movie with Miles over Peter just because of how Homecoming ended up as a whole.
Though the movie itself was very predictable for me I will give it credit where it has earned it. The twist with Liz ( Laura Harrier ) being Adrian Toomes’ ( aka Vulture ) daughter actually got me. That was really good. I went in thinking that Liz was Liz Allen, which is what they hoped a lot of people would do, making for a really good twist that as a comic book fan I wasn’t even upset by.
This leads me to the acting. The biggest hype about Civil War was that Tom Holland was going to be Spider-Man and how was he going to be received. I enjoyed Tom in Civil War as Peter Parker. I think that each actor who has played Peter has played him in a different way, each grabbing from a different comic series but still doing a great job. Everyone has their own opinions on each one and that being said, Tom, I thought did a very good job in Civil War, however, that movie had a different director, a very different tone overall than Homecoming. Tom himself is a very good actor but he’s young. I think he has a lot of potential to grow but that he didn’t really shine like he should have in this movie. That is partly the script’s fault and partly the director’s fault. You can really see in all the scenes with the high schooler’s Tom doesn’t push himself at all. He makes the same shocked/confused faces over and over, does the same groan/sigh and just kinda gets through the scene.
Tumblr media
When he’s acting with Michael Keaton he’s very much in the scene and is truly behaving rather than reacting or reciting lines. Michael Keaton is a very seasoned actor, my guess is that he doesn’t require that much directing at all, hell he didn’t even do his research on the character and he nailed it. He’s just a great actor all around and Tom fed off of that. Being on set I will say that Jon Watts is a very active director, he would never yell from off set or anything like that. Jon was always close by and very involved. He’s a nice guy and I wish him the best in his future but I hope that’s not in MCU. Side note here, Zendeya was also the saving grace of this movie.
Tumblr media
Does anything in this film actually apply to the rest of the MCU? No. Not at all. You can quite frankly skip this film and still be informed as to everything you need to know. Nothing really important actually ever happens in this film.
Rounding this review up as best I can, it really did get away from me quite a bit, not a bad movie to take little kids to but it’s really got very little substance. If you want to see something more powerful than a kinda remake of every 70′s - 80′s teen flick with a Spider-Man twist? Go watch Amazing Spider-Man or the 2001 Spider-Man films. If there’s something I didn’t cover and you want to know what I thought about it, just send me an ask.

Film Thoughts: Captain America: Civil War
9/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Forgive me, I know this is going to be very lengthy. I have to write down all of my thoughts now and brush over them later to make sure they sound clear, but here goes. Any and all spoilers for this film or the comics it was roughly based on will be under a readmore, with that being said, I shall begin.
First, allow me to explain where I was coming from as a fan before going into this movie. I swear it’s all very important.
After the let down of Age of Ultron, I’ve honestly been very over Marvel films as a whole. I think they are pushing them out too fast and the quality of the characters and plots are being slowly etched at and side-lined for bigger action and stunt scenes. This is great for my stunt friends but not so great as a whole.
This has been my mindset ever since I saw Ultron and was so let down. The first Avengers film was so well balanced and accurate to each character that was represented in the film, that feeling of being lost in this awesome world was not there for Ultron because I was so dismayed with how my favorite characters were misrepresented--ANYWAY, this is not an Age of Ultron review but I feel like my mindset is important to this review because it explains why my expectations for Civil War were very low to non-existent.
     Here’s why:
           1. They chose the title Civil War
As all Marvel comic fans know, (of which I am one when I get the chance to read) the grief and horror that comes in the Civil War comic series not to mention the tragic ending and body count.
As a comic book reader and marvel wiki hound, I knew that the words Civil War meant far worse things than I ever wanted to happen to any of the characters in the cinematic universe.
Tumblr media
           2. Crossbones
They announced that Rumlow was back. Another sure sign that Steve was going to die. The funniest thing about this to me was how little people knew about Rumlow. I actually had a friend who was working on Civil War when Ultron came out and told me that Rumlow was on set and how cool it was. I had to sit him down and explain to him how not cool it was because Rumlow kills Steve, and I don’t want that happening ever.
Tumblr media
          3. Ultron
I KNOW I already mentioned this, and I’m sorry. I can go into details about why Ultron let me down but I’ll probably end up doing that in a separate post one day. (-sighs- that’s gonna be a longer post than this) To sum it up, as I said above, I didn’t feel the magic of the first marvel films which all lead to Ultron. My favorite characters were used lazily as plot devices and pawns but made actions they never would in past films. I was very upset with the misrepresentation of multiple characters in Ultron, but the highest on the list was Natasha. Ultron was the only film that she was out of character, and I always have to fix it in my head--again, I’ll do a whole other post on this at some point.
Tumblr media
          4. The recasting and re-rebooting of Spider-Man
This was one of those red tape things that I knew was a studio problem and it really just ruined a lot for me. I loved Tobey (though he had his flaw), I loved Andrew and I wanted to see Andrew as the Spider-Man who got to fight when the Avengers. I also had really high hopes for the Amazing Spider-Man franchise that all were crushed pretty quickly. Spider-Man was the first superhero I loved and really read things for. I binge watched the 90′s cartoons, loved every game, especially Ultimate Spider-Man. All that being said, Spider-Man being correct was just as important to me as Natasha, and the odds were against them nailing both. I will admit, I am very bias when it comes to Andrew as Peter, so going into this I was iffy about if I would see Tom playing Peter or actually see Peter.
Spider-Man plays one of the biggest roles in the Civil War comic storyline. Captain and Iron-Man fight for Peter to join their sides and his realization that registration is not all it’s cracked up to be, is eye-opening for a lot of people. So the fact that the movie they chose to use the Civil War material for was a Captain America film was strange to me. Why not Marvel’s Civil War, or wait until Spider-Man is a major player and make it Spider-Man’s Civil War?
Tumblr media
Now, because of all this, my tactic had been to bury my head in the sand and plug my ears. If I didn’t see it, it never happened. I avoided all by the teaser trailer for this which I was forced to watch in front of Star Wars (which I also avoided all media for but that was for another reason). With time running out and how busy my life is getting, I knew I had to watch it now before I got spoiled while at work or something like that-- (-coughs- what? hmm?) so I bit the bullet.
This is where if you wanted to skip my excuses and read my thoughts on the movie, you continue from here.
I’d heard some rumblings so I knew some things at the start were coming, sadly that didn’t stop me from crying in the back row. (I’ll admit it tears were shed, let’s have a count)
The opening. I knew they were delving into Bucky as soon as I saw ice. Bucky and Steve, their friendship and everything that Bucky has been through always gets to me so,💧 a tear (or more) shed for Bucky being activated to kill. The whole actual op was well shot. There was a very great balance of necessary darkness but family humor through the whole movie, this was one of those ‘necisay darkness’ moments.
The fight with Rumlow was very well done. When they shot that whole scene it was across the street from the shop I work at, so I was able to go and watch them film and see Chris, Frank and Scarlett do their thing from the bridge, (wish I’d been able to be an extra or crew on this but you know it is what it is) and it was awesome to see it all placed together.
Tumblr media
All was fantastic but I was on the edge of my seat thinking Crossbones would get out of this fight and end Steve later in the film, so when Wanda saved Steve but blew up the side of the building...I can’t... Wanda just.. Her face hurt my soul. 💧 ...
The younger Tony Stark scene was very impressive. It was like seeing pre-serum Steve which, though it’s always emotional, is visually fun to see that we can achieve something like that so smoothly now. Also, Dean Pelton has certainly made some strides.
Tumblr media
The reality of superheroes in this world is our world is so tightly regulated that the idea of freedom is really all we have most of the time. The only difference between me and a homeless man is a few bucks and that’s on a good day. Government will always try and regulate things, have control over things, all in the guise of safety. And yeah, it might start out with true motives but then once someone with a personal agenda gets in charge, and they always do, things change. This fact has been repeated in multiple superhuman/hero films and shows. Treating superhumans like weapons. It was a strong overall plot of the show Heroes and it got tired very quickly. This movie could have crossed over a very blurry line into politics but it did a great job in just making people think. I was very concerned they’d make things black and white and turn Tony into the villain just as a plot move. They didn’t and I was very happy to see Tony start making choices he thought were correct but also still being emotional and selfish like he is. Tony’s struggle has always been between doing what’s right and what he wants to do, this is why Peter and Tony get along so well. Peter is more grounded do to his upbringing and circumstances, but he has a lot of Tony in him. When people started to ‘chose sides’ I was glad it wasn’t as clear cut as the advertisements made it seem it would be.
Natasha for instance. Her play was to do what it took to have some control. You can never convince me she would abide by any law but if signing something would make everyone shut up she’d do it so they could move on from there. This is a topic I’m going to have to force myself to be short on because I know I could write a book about her. Natasha Romanoff is my favorite female character in comic existence and always will be. The fact that she was not only represented correctly is really one of the things that made this move amazing for me. The Russo brothers did such a great job of keeping her character correct in Winter Soldier that this was just so refreshing after the crap that got pulled off in Ultron. Nat doesn’t play by the rules and everyone knew that, her character is built on flexibility. There’s a quote in one of her comics that is something along the lines of, to be the most effective you must be at home in any surrounding to use them to your enemy’s disadvantage. She’s adaptable. Her loyalty lies with what is best for her, and now, the Avengers. At first, it looks like the best move is to make peace and slowly work at things. When she sees what is going on and how there will be no peace until everything with Bucky is worked out, she does what she knows has to be done to end it. Natasha is never on one side, she has never been on a single side since Hydra infiltrated SHIELD.
Tony’s problem is that he wants to control things. When he can’t control things and doesn’t know what the outcome of events will be he grabs at anything to actually keep it tied down, like locking Wanda away thinking he knew what she wanted. He’s always had control because he’s always had money and power, the fact that he doesn’t have control over the Avengers is scary to him because he does care deeply about these people. I was worried that Tony being on the side of ‘registration’ as it was called in the comics, would have been very out of character. And it would have if they’d done this right after Iron Man 2, but he’s had a lot of things happen to him and now that he has this guilt and PTSD from all of these big events, he is looking for control over something. When he realizes that he can’t even control himself he’s very willing to have someone look over him because, let’s be honest, he doesn’t trust himself.
After the scene where they talk out the pros and cons Steve leaves after getting a text saying that Peggy has passed in her sleep. This I knew was coming but also knew I would going to cry. So💧💧💧 because Peggy and Steve are everything. One of the best quotes from this movie is from the lips of Sharon Carter.
“Compromise where you can, where you can’t? Don’t. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye and say no. You move.”
Steve and Natasha’s friendship is one of my favorite relationships in the Marvel world and I was glad to see it in this scene. Natasha showing up to see Steve so he wouldn’t be alone was perfect. I’m just going to ask this once but, who thought it would be okay to have Steve help carry the coffin, because that hurt a lot.
T'Challa was awesome. I can not wait for the Black Panther movie, his character had such development and a fantastic presence. I also really loved how the Black Panther mantle was a thing passed down from father to son, king to prince. I can’t wait to see all of that fleshed out in his own film.
This doesn’t have to end in a fight? You know it will Steve, you know it will. The fight scene where Bucky is trying to get away was beautifully shot and choreographed. I loved the use Bucky’s arm and the fact that Steve is trying to help but it just doesn’t look good. Cap you can’t go beating up police. Falcon hitting the tail of the helicopter--
Tumblr media
The first appearance of Black Panther was so impactful, his fighting style is so tailored and different. I was just enamored by it, he has such a great on screen presence. Also, all of Sam Wilson’s quips are golden.
Can we also talk about the fact that Sherlock and Watson are now both in the Marvel universe?
The ‘Olive Branch’ scene was very good. I was again glad to see accurate dialogue between Steve and Tony. As I said before this movie ran the risk of running straight into action scenes and not having good reasons or actually dialogue scenes. Thankfully, it had the perfect balance.
I do like Sharon’s character. She understands what is important and will do the right thing no matter what, I will go back to this so I’m just going to stick a pin in this.
Watching Bucky get triggered/activated is so heart wrenching. I loved that Steve figured out that Zemo was the guy to go after. Sam. I gotta say, Sam takes a lot of hits and I’m glad that they kept everything accurate per their stamina. The little nod to Bucky shooting Natasha was perfect, I have always loved the Bucky/Natasha history in the comics and I’m glad there’s some at least acknowledgment to it.
Steve freaking Rogers ripping a helicopter out of the sky,
Tumblr media
I love how Sam says he’s ‘got a guy’ speaking of Scott. Sweetie, Scott beat you up. Again, Ant-Man was great, I loved it. Also the thought of Scott training to jump through keyholes and popping out of ant hills while the Steve is chasing Bucky down a street followed by a Black Panther dude? That’s such a funny thought.
Tumblr media
Natasha at this point in the movie is so stuck, she knows Tony is gonna get himself killed if she doesn’t stick around.
Tom was actually Peter and it made me happy. He was so VERY Peter Parker that it was fantastic. Also, Tony hitting on May was fantastic. My roommate has been obsessed with Marisa Tomei so Hot Aunt May was so perfect to me. I’m just, I’m very excited for the new Spider-man movie for many many reasons. I’m glad he was so early on in his origins but not straight out in the beginning. Also the relationship between Peter and the Avengers was so very accurate I loved it. There are somethings with Spider-man that I was expecting, such as him being a key player and the two sides fighting over him, that didn’t happen and I was actually okay with that. I’m hoping Iron-Spider is something they do later on.
Flippin’ Clint. I love him. Clint has the best lines in this movie. He finally wasn’t pushed to the side. I loved his new weapons. He’s always so done with everything, it’s just 100% Clint Barton.
The kiss. This is the one flaw in this movie. I can chalk it up to an in the moment thing, she might be the only person I can kiss, I might die, yatta yatta. The fact is, that kiss wasn’t right at all. If they’d cut the dialogue after, it might have been excusable. She’s Peggy’s niece, Steve would have been her Uncle and you could see that connection in all of their other interactions. All I’m saying is that kiss was disrespectful to Peggy and Sharon. It didn’t need to be there.
I know I talked about Peter being a fanboy but Scott is just as bad and I loved it. When he met Cap and actually touched him, I died laughing. Red Team needs Ant-Man, because the thought of Ant-Man with Deadpool, Spider-Man and Daredevil is beautiful.
Tumblr media
The fight. I mean THE FIGHT. Peter and Scott were awesome. They really kept up with everyone, I loved that they mixed things up and didn’t always have the same people attacking each other. They all know their powers and work as a team, even when fighting each other. The mutual respect between teams was great too, they understand each side. Clint and Natasha. They are the only two who really know what is important and what’s going on. Steve and Peter’s little scene, I love it. That whole fight was fantastic I can’t rave about it enough. Sam and Bucky’s relationship is everything. Also, Scott growing and everyone’s reactions, done. That. Alone. Was so good. I was a little iffy about him walking slowly as a giant but I realized there might be a change in gravity depending on size or something like that. ALSO, they finally address the fact that most people don’t know other people. Everyone like who the crap is this spider kid? And Clint just introducing himself to other people was perfect. Also, every Star Wars reference that is made in any movie is always a way to win me over.
The fight was such a great high and had to come crashing down with something serious. Natasha doing the correct thing, she doesn’t see teams she sees individual choices and what needs to be done. She does what she knows has to be done. I’m not gonna rant on this, I was just very happy.
Yeah Peter, you’re done. Stay down baby Peter.
I loved that they all realized how bad the fight was. No one wanted to hurt the other, they all still care. That was why they were all doing what they were doing. All the apologies.
Tony... The fact that he was going to have Vision shoot Sam down and that would have been okay... He needed to realize the gravity of what he was doing. If he was going to keep fighting blindly he can’t let other people get caught in the crossfire, that was the whole point of signing. Rhodey getting hurt that badly should have been a wake-up call, and it was for a moment but Tony is stubborn and hates to admit he’s wrong. I did love that he actually was willing to fix things that he messed up. The problem is always Tony’s pride. He’s so stubborn that he pushes away one of his strongest allies, Natasha, because she makes a better point than him. Natasha knows better and goes into self-preservation mode. I was glad she did that and left because she knows Captain is going to take care of the team.
Clint and the whole team’s jibes at Tony made me so happy. And Tony needed that to see his wrongs.
Tumblr media
This was where I knew things were going to go south quickly. When Tony was willing to actually listen and help, the world is over. I have to take a moment to say this set was amazing, I loved it. It was great to see Bucky and Steve back together as a team, Steve has needed someone he can connect to and he needs it all the more now with Peggy gone. When everything started to play out the scene had a great pace. Tony knew what was going on, so did Steve but the slow build of anger in Tony was beautiful. He tried to fight it but Tony is selfish and thoughtless, he has no control. Steve has more control but when it comes to his best friend he that is his trigger. This whole fight earned a few more 💧💧... Tony in this moment had forgotten about the treaty thing and all the politics of it and his jealousy of Steve always being his father’s favorite, everyone’s favorite just hit the perfect boiling point. It was blind but wasn’t out of character, which is what I was worried might happen. They could have just made Tony completely stubborn and Steve too flawless, but they let these characters be their true selves. Black Panther’s moves on the roof were fantastic, again, character development was amazing for him. I just really loved how quickly he stopped Zemo from killing himself. I also enjoyed the fact that the ‘villain’ in this film was a gray area. Zemo was hurt by the Avengers like the Maximoff’s had been, though I am not a fan of Ultron in general that at least made some sense.
I’m not the only Winter Soldier. This line did not surprise me, we all know Natasha is not the only Black Widow. I sort of laughed at this because Russia was very smart and tried to make a lot of a successful thing, whereas the US just had Steve and tossed him right into entertaining the troops. Well done.
The one Winter Soldier who went nuts, initially I thought he was going to turn out to be Alexi Shostakov. Now, since Captain America 2 I’d really hoped they’d been setting up to do more with Natasha, Bucky and the soviets. Not Hydra, but the Black Widow and Winter Soldier programs. Alexi Shostakov, for those who don’t know, is a major part of the comic storyline of Captain America, Winter Soldier, and Black Widow. Alexi Shostakov was a part of a similar program as Natasha was with the KGB as they tried to figure out the super soldier serum on their own men. Alexi became basically the Anti-Captain America, The Russian Red Guardian, he was also Natasha’s husband--there’s a lot there, I highly recommend scouting out those comics and giving them a read. Anyway, I hope they still hold onto this source material and use it properly.
Tumblr media
Another little thing I was very pleased with was the fact that only Steve and Bucky ever fought with the shield. Steve’s shield is supposed to be too heavy for most people, only certain people in the comics can actually pick it up. Bucky and Sam are two of those people, and later Natasha when she has the super-soldier serum. She should not have been able to lift it in Ultron, much less fight with it, unless she got the serum in the Black Widow program and has been holding out on us. That’s something I hope they address but I know not all of Ultron’s screw ups can be fix. But hey, at least Tony finally owned up to it! That’s something.
As a whole, I’m giving the movie five stars just because Cap didn’t die and the Russo brothers have held up to keeping characters correct. The struggle with a cinematic universe that is this big is that they keep changing writers, directors, and they don’t let a lot of the writers talk to the show’s writers--it just seems very messy. So far, I know I can trust the Russo’s with my favorite characters and they won’t be used as purely plot pawns. Thank you Russo brothers for refreshing Marvel for me again, I really enjoyed the film. Not to mention it was cool to see an old classmate of mine’s name in the production assistant’s credit line up!
Well, now that I’ve written over 43 paragraphs I think that’s everything. If you stuck with me to the end of this, you really deserve an award or at least a cookie. If there’s something I didn’t cover and you want to know what I thought about it, just send me an ask.
