Nature is amazing. I was looking to take some pictures of the landscape when my girlfriend pointed out this beautiful Yellow Warbler fluttering around in front of me. Queue me taking off in a frenzy to switch. Lenses compose and adjust my settings to snap this shot. I had my screen turned off and I honestly thought I had missed the shots. Honestly this one is a little out of my comfort zone but I’m gonna post it anyway. I hope y’all like it. After one year of posting my Photography on Instagram if I can say one thing it’s that I have definitely feel victim to two things. The first being lo sting #forthegram, only taking and posting pictures on Instagram because I thought it would do well instead of because I love the picture. The other is comparing myself to others who have had years of experience and thinking I’m a terrible even though I have only had about a year and haven’t gotten enough practice yet to recreate what some other do nor do I have the time with a part time job and College Full Time to go out to get pictures almost anytime of day. I have wanted so desperately to get a following that I almost changed who I am as a photographer to do it. To my fellow @creators don’t let others preferences change who you are as a creator. It isn’t going to help you. It’ll just make you hate what you are doing. I am going into 2021 posting for me and only me, I am going to start my business (hopefully🤞) and I am going to grow my audience in the way I want too.
