A fat, damp frog drops right on Hidan's head; upon being disturbed/killed/removed it croaks alarmedly and drops a golden coin on his forehead. It may have hurt a little.

"What the fuck?!" Whatever it was that landed on his head, Hidan sent it flying immediately, only to realize it was just a frog. Gross. And it left a coin? He shrugged and pocketed it, maybe he'd buy a drink later.

So, there's not a lot he won't do aside from piss and shit stuff and other things of that nature. He's likely to do things even if he isn't that into it. It's always been a strong hc of mine that he does not like being choked or blindfolded, but he'll do it if he thinks that's what his partner wants and will hate it the entire time. This is from him being decapitated and unable to breathe while still being alive and from being buried alive in the pitch dark, he hates the dark because of it, but I like to let it extend to other verses, even if those events didn't happen. Kinda like a how you died in your past life is what you're afraid of in this life sort of thing.

Also, going off of that, I also hc that he's not into hardcore pain (though he certainly likes it rough). His enjoyment of pain during his rituals is coming directly from Jashin. And it's related to how pleased Jashin is with him, so if he hasn't been performing his rituals as often or as well as he should be, it may not feel as good the next time he does and might even hurt, a lot.

Turn offs include body odor, bad breath, bad hygiene, bad odors in general, insulting his intelligence or insulting him for being religious. I'm sure there are other things that I can't think of right now.

Turned in my final assignments last night and now I'm done with this semester. I'm.....not sure I'll be doing that again in the fall. Anyways, I'd like to get back to writing for fun and being active on here for once. I'm going to have dinner and watch a silly show and will get to some asks that have been moldering in my inbox for a few weeks...sorry for the disappearing.

Sorry to disappear (again) I really didn't mean to but had some stuff going on with one of the kids and several middle of the night ER visits, and college assignments and another essay. I pretty much have to stay logged out from here to not get distracted and just get my work done because I would much rather write for fun than for a grade. But I should be more active after this week once I'm done this last essay. There's just one week left and the semester will finally be over.

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

For Hidan, he has a pretty high sex drive, while Kakuzu's is on the lower end (unless he has a partner). But Hidan having a higher sex drive does not mean he's the more experienced, at least not in canon verses, and of the two (or three) Kakuzu is the most experienced.

Can't forget about Konan (I say, as I have almost forgotten I added her...) she has a pretty average sex drive, though it may (or may not) be higher when she has a partner, but I'd say she isn't all that experienced either. (let's say more than Hidan though lol)

consider: meet-ugly through illegal underground fight club. maybe they're both fighters. maybe kakuzu is the bookie. maybe they just had a motorcycle crash, maybe kakuzu is the fight club's illegal doc.

alternatively, professional chef vs food critic. this amuses me immensely. which one is which? and why are they beefing so hard. sparks are flying. probably from that sharpened knife...

Ok, I really love all of these so much! Meet ugly is so good for them. I especially love the illegal doctor at the fight club and the chef vs. food critic. Hidan would be the worst food critic, but him as a chef, I wouldn't trust his cooking. Is that actually pork or is he getting rid of a body in a creative way...

But also consider Hidan as a grave digger, and Kakuzu's been hiding bodies in those freshly dug graves, and then one night they run into each other while each is trying to bury a body in the same grave.

Organ harvester/doner is also fun but dark. Kakuzu just found his goose that lays the golden egg when he kidnapped Hidan and harvested all his organs only to find when he goes to dispose of the body that he's not actually dead and those organs are regenerating...

(I know I'm probably too tame with these two most of the time in general, but due to certain experiences with the fandom I find it really hard to get out of that mindset...)

The room wasn’t much but it was clean, decently sized with two beds and its very own bathroom. It was more than enough for their needs, and while Kakuzu would have been fine sleeping on the ground, Chitose had insisted, and he had given in. He had to admit though, despite the cost, that sleeping in a proper bed and having hot running water sure beat the alternative. And the shower was something Kakuzu fully intended to take advantage of sooner rather than later. 

Alone while Chitose was checking out the village, Kakuzu removed his outer coat and folded it neatly and set it on the end of one bed. It would need proper laundering before they checked out, as did all his clothes despite his attempts to wash them between visits to inns. The cowl from around his neck was the next to come off, followed by his shirt, both of which joined his coat. Just as he was about to pull his trousers down, the door opened and he froze, body tense and ready to strike only to see it was Chitose, returning to their room. 

He stood there a moment, still frozen, hands still on the waistband of his pants before he cleared his throat. “I apologize. I…I didn’t expect you back so soon,” he said, as if that explained why he was half naked in their room. It wasn’t as if she had never seen him without a shirt on before, but something about her seeing him this way made him feel a bit flustered. Warmth washed over him as he stepped towards the bathroom, where he should have just changed out of his clothes in the first place. 

“I was planning to take a shower.” He paused, looking from the bathroom to her. “Unless… you would like to go first?”

in a modern au, how would Kakuzu and Hidan know each other?

I love modern au's a lot, and I think these two could know each other through lots of different ways. If it's my own muses knowing each other in their modern verses on my blog here, then it's likely they meet through Jashin (who is Hidan's father in his modern verse) where Kakuzu has business with him. If it's just in general, there's so many ways, such as meeting through mutual friends, or through friends who share mutual friends, workplace, gay bar, regular bar, landlord and tenant lol. I even once wrote Kakuzu adopting Hidan as his son and that's something that lives in my head rent free.

Yesterday I spent lots of time updating stuff (also updated my theme because I didn't know it looked like that, I am so sorry...), and will move muse and verse info into google docs just to keep it cleaner and to be able to edit it easier. Still working on Konan's info. Gotta go to the store to get stuff for dinner, and do some other stuff, so I'll be around off and on today but I'm happy to be getting back into writing for fun.

Ok, I'm going to finish my psychology assignment for the week and then work on updating this blog which is way overdue, and reblog a few things if anyone wants to send anything (though any prompt posts are open as long as they're still on the blog).
