Ive started playing ghost trick because of that post about the desk lamp that has a prominant place on the cover and everyone was all coy about it.
And right now im investigating the third death and im really invested. Im not normally into visual novels so much cause of how they're paced differently but this ones fine for me. But what has got me hooked is that they've set up several things pretty early on and characters have made assumptions that, while reasonable, are still not confirmed. But what makes this better/worse is they fucking lamphshade them (pun intended by the devs im sure), so im sure some of them are gonna be false or red herrings or wat ever but not all and is good

a thing to understand is that indie games can push the envelope not in spite of being indie but because of it. once your company gets big enough you simply cannot make a game like Baba Is You
This man is a doctor, tell me he wouldnt care about sun safety
One thing that always annoys me in games and i really shouldnt expect otherwise is that when their characters have alternate outfits for swimwear is that there are never any characters with rashies on, especially the pale characters who would get sun burnt the moment theyre on the beach with their shirt off for 0.1 seconds
