at times, eunbin couldn't help but wonder how agonizing social settings like this may be for those who don't like to socialize. even she had a difficult time after a few hours, and she was probably one of the most social people around.
"there are probably a few people in there sleeping with their eyes open." with the number of alcohol bottles that have been opened, she's more surprised that there aren't more students out here, falling to the floor. "i've seen way too many kids who don't know their tolerance level and go all out," she admits with a slight scrunch of her nose.
her ears perk up at his words, and she glances over with more curiosity present in her eyes. "do you write music? that's so cool!" she's always been more of a dancer, so it was fascinating to meet someone who did more work regarding songs. "i've always wanted to try that out, but i don't even know where to start."
usually heechul spoke openly about how he didn't want to do certain things but some of his friends didn't listen at all. it was easier for him to stay on the sidelines and do his own thing. his social battery was much smaller so he always felt better being on his own or with one other person. groups sucked out all his energy much more especially when it was forced upon him.
"i mean i'm sure some people appreciated that. you know napping somewhere does sound more appealing." it would be quiet at least and away from all the noise. there was just so many people inside that heechul would rather be anywhere else.
he honestly didn't quite understand how others could thrive with so much energy going on. maybe it was due to him being an introvert instead of an extrovert. that probably made all the difference. "we could. there's so many people in there, no one would know a thing. i might. i could be streaming instead or working away at another song."

eunbin recalls how much her mother wanted her to excel in the piano, but she was never the child who could sit still and play the keys. "i think my mom dreamed of dressing me in those pretty frilly dresses and showing up to my recitals, but i didn't let her dreams come true," she comments with a soft laugh.
"how do you even play the kazoo? like i don't think i've ever seen someone play it for more than a second." to her, a kazoo was one of those instruments that kids liked to pick up in the middle of music class so they didn't have to play anything else. it never crossed her mind to learn how to play it, so it was interesting to see stevie's mind jump to the kazoo out of all the instruments in the world. "i'll be sitting front and center in the front row when you do get that kazoo solo."
as she mentioned, if she really had to learn an instrument, she'd like to play the drums. drummers in bands always looked the coolest in her eyes. "yeah, i'm sure it'll hurt my arms, but i feel like that's the case with most instruments anyway. might as well have fun banging on the drums if my arms are going to hurt, right?" she was half-joking, but it still sounded like a lot of fun. "oh, what about the harp? i mean i don't think i can stay still for that either, but it's always looked so cool."
"i don't think i've ever played piano before," stevie recalls, tilting his head back as he considers it. he's pressed a few keys on the board before, but stevie can't read sheet music and he certaintly can't tell when he hits a wrong note. stevie snorts at eunbin's explanation, cracking a wide grin. "honestly? same." he laughs. stevie would have rathered been out and about with friends then stuck messing with an instrument. he liked when his dad played, and stevie found it fun when his dad took time out of his day to try and teach him-- even if it never stuck to him. "i don't think my body can stand sitting still unless i'm like, sleeping."
"how many people do you know can play the kazoo? like really play it?" stevie shoots the question at eunbin, but his smile is impish and playful. truth be told, stevie just wanted to get away from the guitar a bit, and it was an instrument that he'd at least have fun playing even if it's not really realistically used. it'd be a fun party trick on a variety show, at best, maybe. "i'm going to get the sickest kazoo solo in a studio delta song one day. just you wait!"
stevie's eyebrows raise. "drums? oh, wow. it's always looked kinda hard to me." he rubs at the side of his neck in thought, expression pinched as he thinks about it. "i mean, yeah! it looks fun. but...like it'd hurt your arms? all that--" he makes an awkward motion of reenacting drums, a smile building on his face at how stupid stevie's sure he looks. "y'know? i bet you'd get muscle from playing it, too..." he taps his chin in thought.

˙ ˖ ✧ — DRAMA AUDITION. eunbin re-enacts a scene from start up for her audition.
when eunbin initially heard of the drama audition, she was on the fence about giving it a try. however, when she began her life as a trainee, she made it a goal to dip her toes into everything she could, even if she didn't end up debuting. that way, she could really make her most out of the whole experience.
truthfully, all the given options were pretty tricky, but she tried to recall what she learned from the one acting workshop she had taken. while it definitely wasn't enough to turn her into some top-tier actress, there were some tips they had given that helped her immerse into the given scene.
she tried to focus most on the range of emotions she had to express. from anger to frustration and at the end, a faux calmness all while she would have to cry. did she choose a tough scene to re-enact? probably. but it was also the one that she wanted to try the most.
when she stands in front of the staff members, she takes a brief moment to really get into the scene. while she hasn't been through what dalmi has been through, there are a wide range of things she could take inspiration from. nevertheless, what mattered the most for her at this moment was to get through this audition with no regrets.
"stop making me feel pathetic and just go!" while practicing, eunbin thought that this was the turning point in this scene for dalmi. it's when she realizes that she can't just convince dosan through nice, sugar-coated words. she has to hurt him to make sure that he makes what she believes is the right decision.
this is also where she the anger boils down, and she needs to appear as if she's made a firm decision herself to let him go, so he makes the right choice. "you're not the dosan from the letters," she says before digging through her makeshift bag to hand over the ball. "i'm also not your dream."
her breath is relaxed, and she's avoiding looking her fellow actor in the eyes as she does her best to hold back her tears as dalmi. she can't show herself crying now, so he doesn't know that this is hurting her as well.
before she knows it, she's done acting out the scene. giving a quick bow to the staff in front of her, she wipes the tears that have fallen onto her cheeks before leaving the room. while she doesn't know what results await her, eunbin feels pretty refreshed from giving this a try. it was fun, and that's what ultimately mattered to her.

before she went down this path as a trainee, eunbin always dreamed of being a sports announcer. while she wasn't the biggest fan of sports out there, she found their job a little more fun than being a news anchor. they got to be out on the field and interviewing the athletes themselves. that sounded a lot more interesting than having to go through piles and piles of news.
"i think being a host on a music program would be fun. don't you?" however, her thoughts have changed a bit. while she still had that dream of being a sports announcer in the back of her head—it was also her backup plan in case this whole idol thing never worked out—she had seen the way idols got to host music programs, and it looked like fun.
"i think the whole getting to dress up in a new concept and be the first to see all these news performances sounds cool. they always get a front-row view of comeback stages and whatnot!" it was something she would've never imagined before becoming a trainee but now, it's something that continued to catch her attention.
joomi doesn't really know how he ended up letting eunbin drag him along to another workshop he otherwise wouldn't have signed up for, but what the hell, sure. he's felt a little stuck these days. maybe trying something new is exactly what he needs?
ironically, for as much as joomi talks, he is not a fan of public speaking. it's too much pressure. too many eyes on him. he's still not entirely comfortable with being the center of attention, and public speaking of any kind demands it. hosting is no different, as far as he's concerned.
but he's very aware public speaking is an important skill to develop, and hosting can only help him even if he doesn't host anything in the future. maybe he'll be a natural?
"i hope so," he practically murmurs. it could also be embarrassing, but he takes comfort in the fact that he's surely not the worst at speaking here.
he hopes he's not, anyway.
he figures he might as well get into a better mindset, though, and get to know eunbin a little better in the process. "if you could host any show, what would it be?" he asks.

"i took piano lessons like every kid in the neighborhood, but it didn't really stick. i don't do well with activities that require me to stay sitting for too long," she explains with a chuckle. even now, she can still read the sheet music and play a few tunes, but eunbin wouldn't call herself a skilled piano player by any means.
upon becoming a trainee, however, she's gotten a few more lessons here and there, but she wasn't very interested in the piano anymore. "the kazoo? that's an interesting choice, but i support it. there's always a plus in learning something that not many others might know how to play." she's never imagined learning such an instrument, but surely it can come in handy in the future.
"i kind of want to learn to play the drums. they seem like they'll be cathartic, don't you think so? plus, i'm pretty confident in being able to keep a rhythm." her many years of dancing has definitely given her an advantage when it came to staying on beat, so she thinks it'll be useful to transfer those skills onto the drums.
cherry waves.
< w. @eunbinbe >
"so like," stevie starts up, awkwardly handling the guitar in his lap. instruments are still something stevie's not one hundred percent sold on. it's never really been his...thing, but it's cool to learn something new. who knows-- maybe he'll learn enough to make a song or two on his own, but stevie heavily doubts that.
he takes one strum of the guitar, and then winces when it sounds incredibly off pitch. "oof. anyway..." stevie clears his throat, lifting his stare up to eunbin with a bright smile none the less. "do you play any instruments? i feel like i'm learning a new one everyday..." there are so many options, and stevie gets so bored sticking to one when there's so many to choose from. if he's not great at one, then he switches. if things get too difficult, then he takes a break and finds something else.
"i'm going to learn the kazoo next." stevie asks, cracking a grin. it's not the coolest instrument, and it's certainly silly. but they're kind of difficult, no? it'd be sick if stevie became like, the best kazoo player studio delta had to offer. "thoughts?"

˙ ˖ ✧ — TRAINING SELF-PARA. aka eunbin tries to spend more time on her lacking areas.
while eunbin didn't want to hype herself up too much, she didn't think she was lacking very much in the dance department. while dancing like an idol was indeed different from the dancing she's done so far, she's been quick to pick up on the techniques needed for this specific profession.
that's why she decided she needed to work on some other areas this month. of course, she still had a lot to do in every area if she wanted to keep up with some of the older trainees around studio delta. however, she's realized that she always found the most difficulty in singing and dancing at the same time.
it was odd because as a cheerleader, she was pretty confident in her stamina. she's had to go for hours and hours with a smile on her face, so it wasn't the idea of performing in front of people that troubled her. it was the actual act of learning to sing and dance at the same time. you see, this involved a different kind of breath control, something that she still had to get used to.
she had picked up a few tips here and there. one of the more efficient ones was singing while running a treadmill. initially, she found it a bit silly, but eunbin soon learned that it really was the best way to get used to the act of live singing.
if she were to debut, this was something she had to master anyway, so even if she may look like a fool sometimes at the gym, she still took advantage of the company gym and tried to get in her training that way.
now, there was still a long way for her to go before she would feel fully confident in her skills, but eunbin liked to think that she's improved quite a bit. getting thrown into a public performance straight off the bat has prepared her for almost everything at this point, and she was excited to see what else would come her way.

it wasn't surprising to meet somebody who was dragged here against their will by a friend. actually, eunbin's met quite a lot of them, and it was always up to her to try to get them involved in the social activities planned at these events. however, she was exhausted herself and found this conversation a lot more interesting than anything that was going on back inside the venue.
"yeah, especially because i always have to be on the look out for someone who may look excluded and whatnot. sometimes, i just want to find a backroom and nap for like fifteen minutes." it wasn't like her to get so socially tired like she was tonight, but even eunbin couldn't always handle being around so many people at once.
the energy was different from standing on stage. when she was on stage, she could perform for hours and live off of the energy of the crowd. however, at times like this, it almost felt one-sided. it seemed like she was the only one putting in effort. "my bet is that we could probably sneak away and go home, and i don't think they'll notice. if you really want to leave, i can tell your friend that something came up so you had to go."
heechul nodded his head instantly upon hearing her words. "yup, that's exactly what happened. i probably wouldn't have come otherwise since things like these are usually my scene." he sighed a bit as she looked at her. he usually kept to himself so this was much more than he could usually handle. if he had a friend beside it would be different but at least being outside of the building made him feel better.
at least he got to observe everyone though. that got him to sketch a few of the people there so that was a plus. now socializing was a beast of it's own. he could do it just preferred not to do so at all unless it was with his friends.
"true. probably all too preoccupied in there with everything going on." he was sure his presence wouldn't be noticed anyway. he was one of the people that wasn't socializing so he felt like a ghost. heechul couldn't help but send a soft smile her way. "i get that. it seems like a lot even if someone is a extrovert. i can't imagine keeping up the same energy for too long in there."

now this was an interesting workshop for eunbin.
while eunbin wasn't dreaming too far ahead, she does think that becoming a host later on would be a really fun experience. of course, she'll have to debut first for any of that to happen, but she's done some small gigs here and there during college within her major, and she always found it fun.
plus, she was a broadcasting major, which meant that standing in front of people and acting like a mc was something she'd have to get used to, even if this whole idol thing didn't work out for her.
"don't you think this will be fun?" she can't help the chuckle from leaving her lips as she takes a glance at joomi as she's dragged him to another workshop. however, she had her reasons. this workshop was a little different, and she thinks it'll be helpful even if joomi never dreamed of becoming a host in the future. "just think of it as like a public speaking class or something," she said, hoping it'll make this whole workshop sound a bit more convincing to him.

while eunbin understood the beauty that came with cherry blossom season, she couldn't fully understand why everybody was so eager to come out and see them at the same time. she finds herself at yeouido with a few of her college friends who insisted that by next week, the cherry blossoms would all have fallen off because of the storm that's to come.
again, she got that, but they could very well just see the cherry blossoms from the trees planted on their campus. why come all the way out to yeouido where they'd be surrounded by hundreds of people. you can't even get a good photo with all these people around.
she loses sight of her friends for a moment and finds herself bumping into a bunch of others. the word "sorry" is planed on her lips as she tries to fight her way through the crowd. before she knows it, she's directly pushed into somebody else.
"oh, i'm so sorry!" she quickly scrambles to get out of what was practically the embrace of a stranger before looking up to find that she's in a rather awkward sitaution. "this feels like deja vu," she states upon recognizing the person from a similar situation back during waterbomb. "please just know that this time, it wasn't my doing either. i got pushed around" her explanation comes out frantically because this is way too much, even for her.

"we'll aim not to, yes, but i don't trust myself not to fall at all," she admits with a chuckle. "it's all part of the learning process, isn't it? i wouldn't have been able to learn how to ride a bike without falling." skateboarding was a lot more difficult than learning how to ride the bike, but she thinks she's gotten the hang of it. at least she isn't wobbling all over it now.
she's only heard about learning how to surf. again, it's not something she would've imagined if she didn't meet stevie, just like how she didn't think she'd ever learn how to skate before meeting him. but it was nice to get all these new experiences in. eunbin liked to think that there was never any harm in learning something new. except maybe some physical harm when it came to skateboarding, as the faint scars on her legs prove.
"yeah, maybe that's what it is. or maybe i really was born dancing. apparently, i moved around a lot in my mother's belly when she was pregnant with me," she stated with a laugh. "nevertheless, at least i have one thing in my life that i truly enjoy, right?" she loved cheerleading, too, yes, but eunbin doesn't think that's a hobby she can keep for too long. her knees would eventually give out on her.
looking up at stevie, she gave him a nod. "i don't know about outskate, but i'm definitely ready to show you how much i've improved on my own!"
"it's okay! we're going to aim to not fall anyway, so it's more of a...warning i guess? i dunno. anyway!" he claps his hands together. stevie's main goal is to totally not let eunbin fall. some things can't be helped, but he's going to do his absolute best to ensure there are no hospital trips. how's he going to explain that to the company?
a hefty sigh leaves him, nodding his head. "it's so hard. i used to surf every day, now i can only do it a few times a year, at most. if i'm lucky." he makes a plan to do it in the peak of summer, when the waves are the best. well, he tries to.
stevie blinks at the girl, before letting out a laugh once he catches onto the joke. "i mean...i could?" he says, thinking about it. it'd have to be all planned out, lots of discussion...but if they draw their cards right. "we'd have to sort out some details, but i'd never say no for a day of surfing no matter what."
"ooh..." stevie hums, interested, his eyebrows going high. "i think some people are. probably hard to call it a phase if you never grew out of it." he says, cheeky with a joking twist to his grin. he's definitely had to put in some work to get to the level he is, what he's comfortable with. "who knows. could be like...your soul calling to it. that'd be kinda cool? like soulmates but for like...a hobby."
he reaches up to adjust his beanie, taking it out briefly to rake his fingers through his hair. "can't lie. pretty excited to see what you can do now, though." stevie brings up, tugging back on his hat as an excited grin takes over his face. "you ready to outskate the master?"

˙ ˖ ✧ — TRAINING SELF-PARA. aka eunbin reflects on her five months as a trainee so far.
the first thing eunbin thought when she became a trainee was that the life wasn't too different from what she's lived so far. perhaps it's because she's been dancing for a long time and joined her university's cheer squad early on but going through a structured schedule wasn't very difficult.
however, she was still getting used to the whole learning how to sing and dance at the same time as well as the numerous other things required for an idol trainee. initially, eunbin didn't imagine that she'd be going to so many different lessons. she quickly learned that idols didn't simply sing and dance on stage. they had to pretty much be good at everything.
now that she was five months into her time as a trainee, eunbin can confidently say that she doesn't regret one second of it. sure, there were times when she thought everything was too exhausting, but she was also someone who got back up on her feet pretty easily. all that sweat and hard work was required to succeed—something she learned on her own pretty early on—and she knew it would all pay off in the end.
most of all, she was having fun. that was the most important thing, wasn't it? when she first got the offer to join studio delta as a trainee, that was what she most worried about. that she'd have to spend months feeling miserable because it wasn't what she had imagined it would be.
if that were really the case, eunbin is sure she would've quit upon her first two months here. but it wasn't, which is why she was still holding on. she's still not entirely sure if debuting as an idol is her ultimate life goal, but if she were lucky enough to do so, she thinks it'd be a unique experience to enjoy, and that's why she continues to work so hard.

eunbin can't help but let out an oof sound as stevie talks about potentially falling on her face. thankfully, she hasn't done enough practicing on her keyboard for that to happen, and she'd like to think her athleticism will prevent it from ever happening. "ouch. okay, yeah. all of that sounds much more painful. i'll stick to falling on my butt," she stated with a shake of her head.
despite having known stevie for a while, this was the first time she's heard all this, and she can't help but be impressed. "surfing? that's so cool! but yeah, it's hard to go surfing in korea. you'd have to travel to like yang yang to get that done." eunbin's never tried it herself, but she's heard how difficult it could be for beginners.
when she initially asked the question, she hadn't expected the story to go in such a direction. nevertheless, eunbin's glad she asked because now she feels like she knows stevie a bit more. "now i know what i want you teach me next!" she exclaimed with a chuckle before waving her head to indicate that she's just joking.
"i can't even remember when i began dancing. my parents like to say i was born dancing, but i doubt that. i think i just had a lot of fun dancing in front of my relatives when i was younger and never grew out of that phase." although stevie never asked, she felt it was appropriate to talk about herself as well and since dancing was what she spent most of her time doing, it only felt right to share how she started as well.
stevie laughs, shaking his head. "what? are you better than me now?" he asks, joking, his teeth peeking out from the force of his smile. stevie isn't the best mentor for-- anything really -- but he's glad to know something that he taught eunbin has stuck at least. she seems excited, and she seems happy to show him-- and that's a pretty epic win in his book.
"hey, falling on your butt is like, not the end of the world. falling on your face?" he grimaces at the thought, shaking his head. "that's your real big worry." that can make or break skateboarding for some people. at best, you come out with a couple of scrapes or bruises. the worst? you break a bone, gash your face, or come out with a concussion. sometimes all three.
stevie blinks at the question. "i don't think you have either. uhhhh, it's kind of a funny story? maybe not really. i think it's pretty funny." he rubs at the back of his neck, thinking back. "did you know skateboarding isn't like, my main hobby? i actually prefer surfing. i'm better at it too than skating." he misses surfing so much. it's still a little devastating to him he can't just wake up in the middle of the night and go lay out on his board in the water whenever he wants anymore.
"my mom was super dodgy about surfing, and anytime i'd freak her out, she'd take away my board and i'd have to find something else to do. so skateboarding kinda...filled that void in for a while." stevie pauses, a smile pulling at his mouth as he recalls. "honestly though? i didn't skate that much until i moved here. after my mom grounded me from surfing, i almost fractured a bone skateboarding, so..." he can still remember how mad and upset she was, all the fretting. how she gave him back his surfboard after he recovered because she hated skateboarding now. "i had to stop for a while, and by that point? surfing wasn't the number one enemy anymore. i only skated fun after that if like, the water was too cold for it."

upon hearing his name, eunbin's assumption that this is his first time is confirmed because while she may not remember faces, she can remember names, and it's definitely her first time hearing his. "let me guess. that same acquaintance convinced you to come and then abandoned you to go socialize on their own. i've heard it happens quite a lot," she stated with a soft chuckle.
whenever that happened, it almost seemed like her responsibility to help those people not feel too left out. she wanted these social gatherings to be a fun experience for everybody, even if they were dragged here against their will.
"there are so many people in there that i'm sure they won't notice if we're out here for a few more minutes." letting out a sigh, she looked down at her phone that was already ringing with texts asking where she was, but eunbin decided she needed this break. no matter how extroverted she was, sometimes she just needed some time to herself. "i don't always enjoy this either, by the way. it gets exhausting for me, too."
heechul got why others went to these gatherings but it was never something he did. he wished he had stayed back instead of thinking he could socialize like this. his social battery was usually pretty low so this just made things feel worse. he needed to recharge and was glad to be outside to do just that. anything was better than dealing with all the noise.
"i can imagine. something must have attracted more people." he spoke, a small smile on his lips. "not really. i can't handle the noise at events like this so I skip out on attending." he admitted to her easily. if it were any other events that involved art or music, he'd be there in a heartbeat.
he looks at her curiously, nodding as he listened to her. "nice to meet you, i'm heechul." he let her know before turning back to look out at everything around them. "ah, i see. that makes sense though. i'm not apart of anything big like that to need to attend these gatherings. seemed an acquaintance somehow got me to come here."

despite having been a dancer for so many years, eunbin realized that there was still so much for her to learn. she's tried locking and waacking before, but she couldn't say she was an expert in either of them. really, her best skill was probably learning choreography quickly and coming up with moves herself.
that's why she decided to sign up for this workshop even though there were other skills she could've chosen to focus on this month instead. "it'd be so much fun! but i also wouldn't be surprised if they just decided to go over some basics again. i mean, you can never go wrong with basics, right?"
eunbin could never predict what would happen at these workshops, but she was thankful to even get the opportunity to participate in them. "maybe so! can you imagine everybody in this room trying to do tutting at the same time, though? i think it'd be kind of funny," she stated with a chuckle. "we'd all look like malfunctioning robots."
jay turns his head when he realizes eunbin is about to make her official attempt at tutting—he laughs, then again he often does at the drop of a head. “you’re right, it’ll probably feel a bit weird at first too. how do people do that?” he hums. he doesn’t know whether the dance style will ever be applied to their future debut choreographies, but the opportunity to learn is always nice. if jay can concentrate for long enough.
mimicking eunbin, jay tries to do the same—but it comes out rather floppy and silly. obviously, because he isn’t an expert, he’s barely even a beginner. “if we were being judged, i’d be getting an f for my unruly attempt,” jay comments, another round of laughter coming out of him. he should probably get his serious face on soon, he is in a workshop after all. it’d be bad if it looks like he isn’t taking this seriously.
looking around at the full room, jay nods. “wow, this is the first time it’s so packed in here! i wonder why. i’m pretty sure there’s a lot of other interesting workshops this time too. maybe everyone wants to learn tutting.”

while eunbin understood the reason behind these gatherings and usually did enjoy them, she found herself feeling a little overwhelmed today. maybe it's because she had to go around and greet herself with the rest of the cheer squad—something about representing the school was what her captain said—but it was a lot, even for someone like her who usually had a high social battery.
"yeah, i think more people showed up today than the last one," she said with a chuckle. "do you come to these often?" she throws the question out of curiosity. if he was someone who attended often, then eunbin likes to think she would know him. however, seeing that she can't put a name to his face, she wouldn't be surprised if this was his first time.
feeling like she had to prove her identity to him to hear his answer, she continued introducing herself instead. "if it isn't, then oops. i think i may have missed your name? nevertheless, i'm eunbin," she offered with a smile and a nod before looking back down at her feet to kick a few more pebbles. "i'm part of my school's cheer squad, which is why i have to attend so many of these little gatherings."
heechul didn't even know why he was at this event. usually he was one to avoid them and due to what he studied, he never had to go to one. somehow he was here though and already wanted to leave.
he had spent the majority of it drawing and not paying attention to what was going on with everyone else. plus the loud noise wasn't something he was fond of and had him wanting to leave instantly. he could see people wanting to drink more than anything though which wasn't something he was interested in.
he had slipped away at some point, feeling himself relax as he got away from the environment. this was much better than what was going on inside. seeing someone else beside him, he was curious. he hadn't seen her before or even noticed her inside with everyone else. though he wasn't one to join events like this so he wasn't familiar with anyone there.
"yeah. it was a bit too much for me. it's much quieter here." he admitted, giving a smile before hiding his hands in his hoodie pocket.

eunbin's taken a few ballet lessons when she was younger. it was the foundation for a lot of her dance classes, but she didn't particularly enjoy it. she won't deny that it's helped, however, and she thinks it's a nice skill for everybody to dip their toes in at least once if they want to get better at dancing.
"tutting's always looked so cool, but i have no clue if i'd be able to pull it off. the angles look insane," she comments before giving it a really silly try. it probably just looks like her flailing her arms around at best. eunbin never knew what to expect from these workshops. while she was aware that idols had to be skilled at everything, she didn't think it would've required so many special classes.
rolling her ankles to stretch them out, she looked around the room to see that this workshop seemed to be particuarly popular this time around. "either people are suddenly really interested in dancing, or they all dipped here because they thought it'd be one of the easier workshops." it was the former for her, but eunbin wouldn't be surprised if some people fell in the latter category.
it feels like there’s a million different workshops within a small timeframe, even though it’s been a while since jay became a trainee—it all still seems fast paced, at least from jay’s perspective. then again, he doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to dealing with time. jay takes it as some sort of challenge to keep up, but honestly, he’s having mostly a blast throughout his time as a trainee. there’s always something to do.
with another round of workshops, jay decides to brush up on his dancing. there’s no going wrong here, he feels. it’s always a resourceful decision to work on one of the essential skills of being an idol. “it’d probably take a while to master new dance styles,” jay thinks aloud, humming as he does. “i wonder what they’re going to start off with.”
it makes him think of what style of dancing he’ll be working with once he debuts. “it’d be interesting if they teach us ballet too! i can become even more flexible once they stretch my bones beyond infinity,” he jokes. “you know, i really wanna learn tutting.”

"you'll be surprised at how much i've improved since the last time you taught me!" although eunbin hadn't spent a whole lot of time practicing her skateboard skills, especially with becoming a trainee and all, she still enjoyed how the wind brushed through her air and got rid of her excess thoughts and had practiced whenever she could find the time.
her skateboard was still a rather cheap one as she didn't find the need to upgrade it when she was just riding as a hobby. however, it was good enough to show stevie just how much she's improved. "i'm not afraid to fall on my butt anymore either," she told him with a slight snort.
it's not like she was dreaming of becoming a professional. she just wanted to have fun with the hobby and use it as a way to empty her thoughts. "how'd you start skateboarding anyway? i don't think i ever asked you this!" ever since they met, she just knew he was skilled at the skateboard. it didn't hit her until now that she never even bothered to ask how he started.
