ive seen so many fics of skye living in abusive households but hear me out- what if she lived with a family that actually cared about her? and bcs of the protocol agent avery set up, skye still has to move every few months for her safety - but thats confidential information. the orphanage doesn’t know why. the family doesn’t know why. but skye has to move and the family stands up for her. what if they refuse to let skye move? what if they run an investigation on skye’s case and find confidential info that led to SHIELD involvement?
