I have vended and attended tons of events within the past several years. I literally have boxes of various soaps that I have purchased and bartered for all from Black business owners. These are a few of them. With the exception of the castile soap, these are soaps all purchased from Black businesses. They're out there!

Everytime a company like Dove soap that a lot of us supports messes up I rejoice. Not only do they make products that contain toxic ingredients that are not specifically created for our melanated skin, but these products actually do more harm than good for our skin due to the harsh chemicals that are used to create them. Situations like this not only expose these companies for who they really are, it also brings focus on why we should be supporting all of the amazing Black owned companies that are making products that contain safe, organic ingredients that are just for us.
