So, I’ve been seeing this Butterbeer recipe passed around and… it’s cool… but isn’t it supposed to be alcoholic??? So here you go, Butterbeer for those wizards up to no good!
Please drink responsibly!
P.S. this absolutely tastes like what I envisioned from the books…

I'm working on going back. I'm taking a class on charms and so far I've enjoyed myself because it's something I'm very fascinated with. Just so long as you are doing what you want to do, I think you'll find joy in it.
I know that when I eventually go to university, I will never EVER complain about ANYTHING

Heyoo
It's 2015 and everyone is still talking about the European Wizarding War that ended in 1998. I mean, I was five, and had no clue I was a witch back then. What is that Harry Potter guy even up to nowadays? I bet he's settled down with a wife and kids. Probably works as an Auror for the British Ministry of Magic. I don't know, I don't pay much attention to the news. I do enjoy watching Quidditch games at the University of Washington. Seattle is pretty progressive; Magic folk and Muggles blend a little better than they did back around the time of the Wizarding War. I mean, Muggles will still stare at you and they still crowd up the streets because they can't apparate or ride broomsticks, causing all this merlindamn pollution... Tourist Muggles are worse. Not only are they forced to walk from place to place, but they crowd every single Starbucks as if they had never seen one before. I'm wondering how they'll react to the Valentine's Day Amortentia-infused lattes, or the the eggs that hatch chocolate chicks for Easter. Anyway, I'm finished ranting. I'm over at Harris' house tonight, and I think we're going to play connect-the-dots with the stars. It'll be great.

What a Witchy Morning
I apparated to class this morning but accidentally ended up in the middle of a crosswalk, and some toadlicker Muggle almost ran a red light and hit me. I'll have to pay more attention to where I'm going; I wasn't all there as I didn't have enough time to finish my Pumpkin Juice this morning.
We aren't learning anything in class yet. The professor went over class etiquette and gave us the whole "the Forbidden Maintenence Closet is off limits to anyone who does not wish to die a most painful death..." blah, blah, blah.
We had our portraits taken but I think I was swaying a little too awkwardly in mine. We shall see as soon as they're developed.
I've got some Charms assignments from another course I'm taking; I get to animate my stuffed monster, Griff. Updates to follow.
If there are any other Witches or Wizards in Seattle who would like to chat, send me an ask!

I love these, except the earwax flavor. Crazy Brits.

I really hope there is no earwax flavour! http://ift.tt/1ivomaQ

Not Yugioh, but I've done this with Pokemon cards.
1915.Muggleborn Yugioh fans playing the card game and using an enchantment to make miniature representations of the monsters on the cards appear in mid-air, like the holograms on the show.

You know your roommate didn't lock up enough when you can still use "Alohamora" to get in. Merlindamnit, Caspian.

Helloooooo
Saying hey to everyone following my blog. Here's a quick introduction:
Dad's a Muggle, Mom's a Witch. Dad and my step mom are very disapproving of my being a witch, so I try to tone it down around them. I'm living with a roommate in Seattle who's a wizard (albeit a Slytherin). Things are going well and I enjoy my Pumpkin Juice in the morning just like any other witch.
Now just to get Starbucks to make Pumpkin lattes in the off-season...
My boyfriend is a Ravenclaw and we visit each other quite frequently. Although his broom broke and he hasn't had the chance to get a new one... (he's had quite the time figuring out public transit and riding with the Muggles...)
I'm going to school to study the enchantment of muggle items; it's pretty fascinating. I haven't quite gotten to the level of flying cars yet, but I can at least turn my computer on from across the room, which is cool. I had to get an adapter so that my computer would work on magic, since I have a hard time running electrical stuff with the magic interference.
Anyway, I haven't got much else to say. If you'd like to ask me more, shoot me an ask. I'm pretty open about everything.
