I figured out what I'm doing for the final day and am working on it now! Hopefully, I can get it done in time!

Mini 6! I fell behind on the POVs I was watching, so my minis will also be behind for a bit. I'm still trying to figure out what to do for Aug 8th, but for now, more collages!

We got the crew decorating the mayor's office, Sausage pestering El, the Gnarpies stacking stuff, Sausage practiing his dancing, and the Gnarpies under a desk.

WHA Fanfic

I made my first ever posted fanfic on Ao3! I'm kind of nervous, but I really had fun with it, and it got me to write again. I need to do more of that.

The fic: Olruggio finds an old picture Tetia drew when she first came to the Atelier.

Parallels

I started to notice that most of the four main girls in Witch Hat Atelier have a parallel brimhat kid (As of the most recent chapters).

First is Coco and Custas. This one is obvious. They both started as regular people with one guardian that, for one reason or another, ended up involved in the world of magic due to stuff that happened to said guardian. The difference being that Custas ended up siding with the brimhats while Coco remains with the pointed caps.

Then we have Agott and Tartah. These two both play a similar role in Coco's life. They both seem to have developed a crush on her and are re-learning why they deem magic to be interesting. Tartah has learned that not every rule is a realistically moral one for every situation and that magic can do so much more if those limitations were ignored. Agott is learning that magic has more to it than just being useful or practical; it can be hopeful and whimsical, and that there is a personal side to it.

Finally, we have Richeh and Ininia. Both are stubborn in the way they feel about magic and how it should be done. They even give off a similar cute vibe with a more aggressive way of talking.

Then we have Tetia. She doesn't seem to have one yet but if she were to get one sme day who would it be? I personally wanna guess Jujy.

Jujy is currently on the pointed cap's side, but after everything that just went down in the latest arc, I wouldn't doubt it if she started to question a few things. Custas tried to convince her to use forbidden magic already, and while she was reluctant, she may become more willing over time. She is such a sweet kid, and I think it's her heart that will cause her to flip sides (if she does switch sides).

She might never switch sides and remain much like Coco, who wants to fix the problems with the pointed caps without joining the brimhats. But we will see. If she were to swap sides then I feel she would become a good counterpart to Tetia as they are both very bubbly and outgoing with hearts that love as much as they can.

I had many clips and ideas for artworks, but there were too many, so I decided to just do little sketches and create a collage.

We got Apo and Cherri in the orchard, False checking the barrier, Scott on his bench, Sausage (mr I am so cute and innocent while a building burns in the back.), Missy & Bunny panning for gold, Pyro & Gnarpie, Apo/Cherri/Martyn ranching, Preacher claims Sausage stinks, and two faun over the Gnarpies while Martyn & Preacher are suspicious.

I actually really like drawing animals on occasion. Cats are particularly fun. It's also a really good way to improve at art.

I am working on a Cowboy SMP Martyn pic! I have been really enjoying the SMP so far and can't wait for more. It's hard to tell with the angle, but just know that hat is TALL. I wonder what the new mayor of Pity will do next.

I'm working on creating designs for the WHA girls as if they lived in my WIP story world, "The Blessings of Genesis". I will color them later when I have time. This also helped me finally figure out how I want to draw the girls. I have been swapping between ideas for a while now, so landing on specific design choices really helped me. The poses are based on Shirahama's sketch of the girls with slight differences.

I will share my designs for Olly and Qifrey later.

DDVAU Crack Theory

I was speculating about who the mimic could be. Obviously, most people, including myself, are under the impression that the Mimic has to either be Martyn or BigB. They both make the most sense and work well as the Mimic within the story.

This got me thinking more about the mimic and any particular things about them that would tell us who they are. Then I had a revelation (maybe). What if the Mimic is neither of them? What if they are both red herrings that are there to throw us off?

What if the Mimic is someone we don't know is in the story yet? I realized that every member of the college buddies group is from Evo. Who else is from Evo SMP and had a big connection to Grian? Taurtis. He is very close to Grian in Evo and has connections to the watchers (I haven't finished Evo, but I heard that he might have become a watcher as well?). Now I could be very wrong, and He may not end up in DDVAU at all since neither Doody nor Maru has mentioned him. That's why this is a crack theory. IDK, I just thought about it and realised that He would be a pretty good fit to be Mimic. Plus, it would make for a super cool twist.

If it's not him, I'm leaning more towards BigB for now.
