People reference jokes from Lilo and Stitch (2002) with Wanderer and Nahida pretty regularly within Genshin fanon and tbh I wish people leaned into this more because i think it’s really funny and unironically compelling. Like wat the hell. Sure. Wanderer as a weird blue dog who’s a menace to everything around him because he’s an artificially being created for a specific purpose never meant to account for the complexities of being an individual with free will. After an initial period of destructive apathy he slowly befriends a weird lonely child because their similar longing for understanding and a sense of belonging provides ground for an emotional connection to form. Then Nahida explains the joys of general human things and whimsy to Wanderer and Wanderer causes 20 thousand dollars in property damage by blowing up an alien spaceship to save her from getting abducted by aliens. In many ways I do think this embodies much of the charm and ideal nature of the Hat Radish dynamic as presented by Genshin Impact

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

a concept: zuko waiting tables at the jasmine dragon as a well-deserved break from firelord duties, but he does not understand how he keeps getting recognized!!! he’s wearing green and everything!!! it’s inexplicable!!!

I got a crazy theory I haven't seen anywhere else: Overlaying Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu over BOTH of Izuku and Ochako's conversations was potentially intentional because they are mirrors.

The entire joke is that Kirishima and Tetsutetsu are basically copies of each other- struggling to stand out from the other. Their (1) 1v1 fight and (2) tie-breaker battle happen during:

Ochako telling Deku she wants to win this fight with her own power, declining his help (to keep up with the class, and "I'll win just like Deku").

Deku trying to comfort Ochako after her loss but Ochako completely hiding her pain (a habit they share: just saying "I'm fine" and saving others).

This leads me to believe that, if intentional, the narrative acknowledging that these two are narrative parallels who are incredibly similar at their core even during an early arc. It's a subtle but honestly very clever way of signalling to a viewer what roles and dynamic these characters have for this story.
