Hello Lone Star fans!!!

The Fox execs and Tim have said the decision to renew the show for further seasons hinges on the show’s ratings. Here are a few things we can all be doing to try to help boost the show’s ratings (also let us know if you have more ideas!!)

Watch the show through a verified stream if you can, watch live and stream later on Hulu or another streaming source that will be tracked for the ratings

Stream it again throughout the week!! (I am going to organize some group watches!!)

Don’t fast forward through commercials

Watch all the way to the end including credits

Engage with the show/networks official social media accounts (let’s start doing this now to show them we’re excited for season five!!!)

Social media engagement is tracked three hours before, during, and after the initial live airing (EST).

International fans: engage on social media during the show’s live airing (3 hours before and after EST)

Tell your friends to watch!!!

fandom gifting <3

in anticipation of december (a month which seems to be very cold for most people on tumblr and very hot for me), i wanted to put together something to inspire me to give back more to the fandom community. it's not christmas-specific (although i ended it on christmas for personal reasons because i'm usually in a food coma / having a break between then and nye) and it's not fandom specific, so anyone can join if they like!

no pressure, of course. i will happily do this by myself :)

This was a fun one! This fic is beloved in the Schitt's Creek fandom, for good reason. It's one of the few times I've read along with a WIP and didn't wait until the end. I would eagerly await the release of each new chapter on Sunday. I knew I'd be binding it at some point, it's too good not to.

It's also a CHONK. 270k words and 720ish pages. That's 23 8-page signatures.

A few firsts for this one:

First time using real, purchased bookcloth. Not sure I want to go back to the homemade kind, but seeing as bookcloth isn't cheap nor easy to get, that's not realistic.

It was also the first time I used an oxford hollow. I thought it would help support the massive heft of this volume. Time will tell, I suppose! I followed the tutorial in this excellent video.

And despite my best intentions, it was my first time using the foil quill on the cover because HTV is the devil and the cover got all forked up but I just leaned into it a bit and used the foil quill to fill in bits, and also to do the spine.
