Looks like Shallan got her hands on some (digital) gouache. 🤭😶‍🌫️ Colouring my Kaladin sketch from a few weeks ago (the page from Shallan's sketchbook that she didn't want Adolin to see), to try out some more opaque-medium painting. Suddenly craving a fic about the 10 days post highstorm Kaladin was injured in the Way of Kings while Bridge 4 did what they could to keep him alive. Figuring out bandages, trying to remember what Kaladin had done to help injuries other times, washing wounds. Rock's had kids who were sick before likely. Did he think about how similar Kaladin and Cord are age wise during those 10 days? Hum songs while it was his turn to watch Kaladin? Did anyone try to comb his hair? In his feverish state, did Kaladin remember having his hair pulled out of his face when he got branded? How did Teft get all the spheres to slowly heal Kaladin? Did others notice how fast Kaladin was healing but had a "I don't know enough about surgery to dispute this" moment?

The trauma kids are traumabonding. They’ve come a long way since the boots moment, though they just stopped calling each other names a few hours ago.

 I'm slowly inching closer to a Kaladin I’m 100% happy with. I'm at ninety-something, I’d say.
