Life has been super busy lately, and we've hit a bit of a slow point, but we're still kickin'! I plan to try to get some bios I've been working on forever out soon, and we may do some fun dash things soon, so if you're looking for a laid back little family to join, we're here with open arms!

We hadn't talked about it but possibly! It might take a bit of time but we can add them to the list. If there are specific characters you'd like to see, feel free to send those in!

idk this seems dead to me

As I said, the dash is at a slow point right now as there is a lot going on in our lives and we do not push members to write. Discord is still full of plotting, but most of us are busy and gaming together or doing other activities instead at the moment, and as admins, we don't have a problem with that. I have the utmost fate the group isn't "dead" and will be bustling again soon. I have not bothered promoing since it isnt summer yet, where the dash always picks up more. If you aren't interested in a group that does have low activity from time to time, and doesn't force any activity rules, then I would suggest finding another one.

We are! There's definitely been a lull on the dash, but everyone is pretty busy so it's been a chill few weeks. It isn't unusual for us to have ebbs and flows without harsh rules on activity, but if you're interested in joining I promise we're still around to plot and write with, and the dash will pick up more during summer!

We know recently activity has been a little low as we've all hit a bit of a wall with muse but it hopefully help get inspiration flowing, we're going to be doing an honesty week! CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Delbert Doppler is based on Dr. Doppler from Treasure Planet. He is a 34 year old gifted human, astronomy professor, and uses he/him pronouns. He has the power of genius intellect. Delbert is portrayed by Jonathan Bailey and he is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Ever since he was a young kid, Delbert was convinced he was an old soul. He never really got along well with his peers, people his own age never seemed to be interested in the same things he was or, more likely, they didn't care about the machinations of the universe in the way he did. They didn't have the same fervor but that was fine! He'd rather be a loner than an idiot and one day, he knew he'd find his people. The ones who weren't satisfied with an answer without asking at least one hundred times why? and finding out the answer to that. There were mysteries out there among the stars and Delbert was not the type to ever be content without solving each and every one of them. Now, did that make him a fearless adventurer in pursuit of the truth? Absolutely not. To say Delbert was scared of most things would have been an understatement but, as long as the right precautions were taken and the mission was important enough, the doctor was willing to put his life on the line...as long as the odds of survival were close to one hundred percent. Over one hundred percent would be even better! It shocked no one in Delbert's life when his best friend was the owner of his favorite tavern, a woman twenty years his senior, but he got along with Sarah. He cared about her and her son. For so long, people had told him that he was more robot than person, caring more about books and theories than actual people but they didn't mind! They let him be awkward and ramble about the stars and in turn, he listened to what their lives were like and he finally understood that intelligence wasn't always the answer; empathy was. Feelings were. He's not perfect at it, but he's trying and he's learning and what more could you ask for? When the news arrived that Jim and Morph were missing, Delbert was the first to volunteer to try and find them; they were his family as far as he was concerned. If Jim was in trouble, he would never let Sarah search for him on her own. He might not have a ton of friends but the ones he did have, Delbert would protect with his life even if it meant getting trapped here in Evermore without a route into the stars. It was worth it and he didn't' doubt that one day he would be back up in the galaxy.

I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR

Delbert is a big fan and he loves spending afternoons running through theories with Milo ❀ Jessica Liu: At the end of the day, Jessie is fun and knows how to interact with people and have a good time - something he's never been particularly good at ❀ Marianne Hunter-Thornberry: There is something about Marianne that reminds Delbert of Sarah, maybe it's the strong mom gene or something but he can't help but be warm towards her whenever they meet
