Hello! Is it okay to apply for Barrett Olivares? I see someone was recently unfollowed who wrote him, and I know sometimes that can be a little odd if another person takes a muse shortly after. I want to make sure everyone is comfy! If not, I totally do have other characters in mind! They are all wonderful :D <3!

We've been slower with activity recently due to most members being busy outside of RP but we're still around and there are replies happening on the dash! And yes, Victoria is open (which is our Anya).

What are your guidelines for removing people from the RP?

Since we don't have any activity rules and we're pretty lenient in general, the only reason I can think of enforcing a departure from the group would be for being rude to our other members, or making them uncomfortable.

They say home is where the heart is so why should that be different for your muses? For this (optional) task use your imagination to help us visualize what your muses' homes look like! Whether that's a moodboard of their home's aesthetic, images of what their home looks like, or any other visualizer to give us an idea! If that's not your forte feel free to express and share your muses' home visions however you'd like! Consider things like: do they live in an apartment? If so, what floor? If they live in a house is it small or spacious? Are they filthy rich and own a penthouse or mansion? Is their home a minimalist space or have the walls decorated and knick-knacks galore? CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Wyborn Lovat is based on Wybie from Coraline. He is a 28 year old human, unemployed, and uses he/him pronouns. He has no powers. Wybie is portrayed by Peyton Alex Smith and he is taken.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

There are people in life who will always question whether or not they were wanted or if they were an unexpected surprise for their parents that arrived at an inopportune time. Wybie never had that issue. He knew he wasn't wanted, his very name was proof of it, and yet that didn't stop him from enjoying every moment. His parents might not have wanted him and sent him to live with whatever family member would take him at the time, but he was perfectly okay with that. Eventually he ended up in Evermore with his grandparents and thankfully they never tried to send him away to another cousin or distant relative, because he simply could not leave. Wybie was used to his family sending him away, apparently not everyone enjoyed all the thoughts he had in his head that burst past his lips in conversation. Or rather, one-sided comments that didn't leave much room for the other person to say much. He was a chatty guy, what could you do? Wybie was in the middle of an internal dilemma, unsure if the people he saw in his dreams were his parents or strangers, when he met Coraline Jones. He'd only been in Evermore a short while when they met and he felt like something had shifted. That they were meant to meet and it turned out, he was right. It wasn't that his grandma wasn't an exciting person, she was, but Coraline brought a sense of adventure to his life that had been missing, a sense of purpose, and he was determined not to let them down. Did he really understand the idea of jumping dimensions and an evil mother that wasn't a mother but was pretending to be one while stealing children's souls? No. But that wasn't going to simmer his passion to be included and helpful! He often projected a happy go lucky guy, someone who went with the flow and was happy to be included but there were moments when he was left to his own thoughts, wondering if everyone had to work this hard to be remembered.

❀ Audrey Ramirez: There is something about Audrey that reminds Wybie of Coraline and even is she tends to be sarcastic and a little walled off, he isn't deterred from trying to become friends with her! ❀ Jacob 'Jake' Randall: If Wybie thought he talked a lot, he's got nothing on Jake and he appreciates that, if Jake is truly just himself and everyone still loves him,maybe there's a chance for Wybie too ❀ Kaya Kloken: While Wybie had his grandma growing up, he's found a kind of mother figure in Kaya. Someone who cares about him and supports him in her own way. A feeling he's never really had before

Ofelya Malkasian is based on The Beldam from Coraline. She is a 41 year old witch, mortician, and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of soul-stealing, essokinesis, atmokinesis, and shifting. Ofelya is portrayed by Angela Sarafyan and she is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Ofelya Malkasian is from Evermore and not from Evermore. She's from a place that exists both in between and within time and space. A place where things are twisted and folded, stretched and knotted in a way that things never should be. She has been known by many names throughout existence: Beautiful Lady, Button Witch, Other Mother, The Beldam; what she truly is, no one can be sure but what they do know is that she is powerful and almost impossible to escape once she has her sewing needle in you. But she wasn't all evil, of course not. No villain is the villain of their own story and all Ofelya ever wanted was to live. The issue being she was content with extending her own life at the expense of others, usually their souls and she wasn't restricted to just the souls of her own dimension, not when she had access to all the dimensions that existed. When she first met Coraline Jones, Ofelya was lonely. She'd gotten older somewhere between the seconds of time that she'd been traveling through dimensions, and one day it had occurred to her that maybe she did want a family for herself. One where she could try to find and experience love. But she couldn't do it quite right. Being a mother was harder than the movies would have you believe but she did try in her own way. She promised Coraline the world, anything they could ever want, but there was always a price. Ofelya thought it was worth paying. Coraline did not. She couldn't understand that, couldn't understand why her child would run away from her, disappear to another dimension that they thought was safe. It wasn't safe. No where was safe from Ofelya.

❀ Hades Aidoneus: Ofelya enjoys working with Hades almost on a daily basis, there is something comforting about his aura that keeps her calm as she works which she appreciates considering how easily she can lose her temper ❀ Wanda Cosma: It's a wonder how different experiences can be when it comes to motherhood and Ofelya can't help but look to others, like Wanda, for guidance when it comes to handling children ❀ Ani Zelinkski: Though Ani is nothing like Coralina, Ofelya is often drawn to them as a second chance, another attempt at trying to be a mother to someone who needs one...perhaps somewhat against their will

John Darling is based on John from Peter Pan. He is a 27 year old human, high school teacher, and uses he/him pronouns. He has no powers. John is portrayed by Thomas Elms and he is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

There were plenty of stereotypes when it came to the middle child and John Darling barely had to work at all live up to a select few of them. Fiercely independent, the young boy seemed to grow up impossibly fast, wanting to show his whole family that he was far more mature than Michael and even Wendy, able to take care of himself during the years when children were supposed to rely on their parents for everything. He wanted so badly to be a little man that his childhood slipped through his fingers without him ever noticing until he realized how desperately his brother and sister were clinging onto theirs. From the moment he could form his own coherent thoughts, John knew he wanted to grow up. He wanted to be an adult who could control things and earned respect and, unfortunately, he thought that meant being stern and turning his nose up at whimsy or fun. No matter how hard the people in his life tried to convince him otherwise. Sure, there were times when he would cave and play with Wendy and Michael, but he would claim it was all too childish...even if he'd be thinking about it for days after with a smile on his face. When his siblings found him at his apartment to talk about some mysterious island Wendy had heard about, John was immediately against the very idea. Galivanting off to who knows where based on some rumors and fairytales? Absolutely not. Or, at least, not without John there to make sure the two of them didn't get into trouble or bring shame to the Darling name. Plus, if he was really being honest with himself, he didn't want to miss out. He might not have been the first one to suggest an adventure, but he was always included when Wendy or Michael decided to do something insane and going to an island like that certainly qualified. Neverland was something outside of anything John could have imagined and while they were there, he felt lighter; he felt happier. Maybe they'd been right about whimsy and fun, maybe it was needed to live a good life. But then it all crashed down. Wendy went missing. One second there, the next gone. John was devastated, he felt like it somehow his fault, his responsibility because he'd let them all go in the first place. Now that they're stuck in Evermore, it feels right. It feels like what he deserves.

❀ Eleanora Ashwin: A fellow teacher in Evermore and someone he looks forward to seeing each day they're in session. She's a lot more whimsical than John is naturally but he's learning, maybe Evermore could bring some of the happiness he started to feel in Neverland ❀ Tecna Ware: Possibly one of the coolest people who could also be considered a bit of a nerd. Not quite at John's level but he doesn't think he'd be able to handle someone who was extremely smart, nerdy and nice to look at ❀ Dr. Delbert Doppler: Another man out there who appreciates science and facts! He's a little strange but John can overlook that in favor of someone who knows what they're talking about
