Casper Kowalski is based on Casper from Casper The Friendly Ghost. They are a 23 year old ghost, video store employee, and uses they/them pronouns. They have the power of invisibility, psychokinesis and floating. Casper is portrayed by Alin Szewczyk and they are taken.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

For most of Casper’s “life”, all they have known is Whipstaff Manor. They were born into the manor by two loving phantom parents so since birth all they have known is death. They never knew what it was like to even want to do the things that made humans, well human, because they hardly ever saw humans past the brave souls that tried to look into Whipstaff Manor on a dare or prank. All Casper has ever wanted was friends but every time they introduced themselves to a human, they ran off in fear. Casper knew plenty of ghosts that liked that kind of situation; their uncles, nicknamed the Ghostly Trio being a few, but they never enjoyed scaring others. They were lovingly labeled as “the friendly ghost” by their family and honestly? They liked the sound of that. Casper spent so many years trying to keep that title too. Of course it wasn’t always easy since their uncles normally scared people off before they could even have a chance to say hi, but they were determined to find people that they could call their dearest friends someday. They began sneaking out of Whipstaff Manor and studied the humans that lived amongst them. They practiced their abilities so they could pass as close to humans as possible and when they finally thought they were ready… they ran away. Their plan was to just go to the neighboring town and try to see if their human lessons paid off, but somehow they floated into Evermore instead. Evermore was a culture shock! They didn’t know there were other kinds of people aside from ghosts and humans. Vampires, witches, werewolves and more; it was all so amazing! It was also incredibly nerve wracking. For the first few months they hid in abandoned warehouses and wherever there were hardly any people so that they could work up the nerve to introduce themselves. Eventually they worked up enough courage to make their debut. They didn’t introduce themselves as a friendly ghost though… just a friendly person! And it even worked! They got a job, they got an apartment, and they have been able to make Evermore their home. They miss the Ghostly Trio and their parents a lot, but every time they try to leave they end up right back in town, losing their memories as to why they wanted to leave more and more. One day they just stopped trying and continued on as what they considered normal. For once in Casper’s long, long, afterlife they feel like they have a real shot at finding friends and maybe even more! Though, they do worry how their new friends and new life will take to knowing that they are a ghost.

❀ Phyllis Geist: They are drawn to her and they aren’t sure why. They feel like Phyllis is someone that sees life a lot like them and she’s so pretty and has the best laugh. They get so tongue-tied every time they try to talk to her. ❀ Joy Fraser: She is one of the first friendly people Casper has met in Evermore! She is so outgoing and pleasant to be around and she makes Casper wanna be more outgoing too. ❀ Tommy Pickles: Casper always knows it’s gonna be a fun night at work when Tommy is there! They get to work the back stock, which is preferred since they don’t have to explain the floating movies and such that way. Though, Tommy has never said anything even if he has noticed.

Biography:

TW: Cancer, Sex Work, Abusive Relationship.

When Sofia was a little girl her parents were madly in love, so it felt anyway as she watched her beautiful merfolk mother and handsome human father dote upon one another. The family lived in a large seaside home, filled with glamorous things, and she felt like she was always smiling. Things stopped being perfect the day she was diagnosed with cancer in her early teens. At first they were a united front, they wanted to do everything they could to help their daughter, they made sure they were always with her for treatments, that even on the days when Sofia could not stand the sight of them they did not give into their anger. However, as things progressed, as treatments were no longer working and the doctor, who had been trying to preserve the young mermaids ability to bear children informed her parents the best course of action would result in her no longer being able to carry them.

That changed things. Sofia's father agreed to support whatever decision she made, it was her body and while she was not an adult he knew ultimately if she did not at least have a voice in the decision that she would never forgive either of them. Sofia wanted to go through with the treatment, because despite the pain of treatments, the exhaustion of just being, and the lack of joy she'd had since her diagnosis she wanted to live, she wanted to live a full life. For her mother however...this was not acceptable, to be unable to have children went against how she was raised, it went against everything she believed her daughter should be. In the end her mother conceded, but it changed things. Even once Sofia had come out of surgery, even once she had started to get better, her mother could not look at the girl or her father.

Healthier than she had been in quite some time Sofia returned to school, returned to life, and that was, of course, when her mother left. Expensive dresses removed from her closet, car gone from the drive way, and her father in tears, regret over what he had done to ruin his marriage. While he never abandoned his daughter Sofia knew he looked at her and felt such horrifically complex things; joy, regret, gratitude, anger. It made her so aware of herself, aware of how other people pushed themselves and their feelings onto her while she did nothing but exist. It shifted how she treated people, how she behaved around them, she was less inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt because ultimately everyone would do as they liked regardless of her.

Once she graduated she moved out, got herself her own place, hoping to become a make-up artist to celebrities. She'd always enjoyed make-up, since she'd done pageants as a girl. It seemed however, other skills proved to be more financially viable and she started stripping - after being a waitress proved dangerous for customers. It surprised Sofia how much she enjoyed it, how it made her feel more in control of how others perceived her, and how she perceived herself.

Of course, that adjusted somewhat when supernaturals came out to the world. The fact she was a mermaid was something that had been shared between herself and her mother, something since her mother had left she'd kept to herself. Now the world knew and she thought perhaps she could share that with those close to her. She couldn't. The toxic relationship she had ended up in grew worse, Sofia trapped in a way she had never been before and unsure what to do.

Fortunately, Sofia met someone at her work who rekindled her value in herself, reminded her of what she had done to live her life and to live it happily. It was, of course, Sofia who truly had to see it in herself though and after he had left, while touring the country, Sofia tracked him down. She had always been a woman of instant decision and she decided she wanted to not lose the person she trusted most. When he settled in Saintes, so did she. Prepared for a life she could live openly. She would follow her passions and trust herself, she'd lived this long, after all.

Danny’s parents wanted a second child, but years of exposure to ectoplasm left them sterile. It turns out that there are some side effects to living with radioactive materials from another plane of existence. 

Their Solution? Cloning

The issue? The sample they got while in Gotham wasn’t exactly “pure.” After getting a blood sample from a fight between Batman and Two Face, things got little cross contaminated. Now what does this mean?

Danny is the biological child of BOTH Bruce and Harvey

Until Danny has to flee Amity. Maybe it’s the GIW, maybe it's and identity reveal gone wrong, maybe the Nasty Burger explosion happened and Danny fled to avoid being taken in by Vlad.

So on a slip up, he accidentally calls him Fuckboy instead, and has to continually use it.

I see this going one of two ways depending on how old Bruce is - if it's teenage angsty Bruce then there will be a fight which will result in Bruce getting his ass kicked bc teenage Bruce was just constantly looking for a fight but couldn't hope to win against Damian - if its Bruce post training/ early batman Bruce then he will recognise that Damian looks a mini talia and realise this kid is his son or maybe a younger sibling of talias either way calling him a fuckboy is definitely deserved

JOE:

The reason Joe dislikes most bird pokemon such as fletchling is because they're always stealing and pecking at the olives he... or well more specifically his company grows.

Speaking of which, they own a large plot of land which is used specifically to grow olive trees, which of course are used to make the olive oil he sells. What? Did you think that the olives come from Joe themselves? Of course not silly, welcome to capitalism.

That being said, Joe DOES know how to garden. When they first started their olive oil company they had to grow their own olive trees. Nowadays, in their spare time, they'll sometimes be found tending to the olive trees in their company's garden.

His crown is personally tailored for Joe and Joe ONLY. Crafted with the shiniest gold and the richest olives, all fit for a king! Somehow it never falls of his head. (Fun fact: the points are made to look like olive oil bottles)

Joe needs glasses but usually wears contacts when in public. Not that they look bad with glasses, it's just a personal choice.

Joe LOVES being involved in... well, anything! As long as it's not weird or sexual or illegal (that last one counts UNLESS it involves scamming others into buying his oil products), he is more than happy to invite himself into whatever is going on around him. What are you going to do? Stop him? Oh please!

HANNAH Ü:

At the start of her career, she would spend her days doing her own one-man (or.. well... woman) shows at subway stations, telling stories and entertaining other pokemon and people alike while they waited for the next train to arrive.

Her hat and cape are made entirely of salt! She is able to transform her cape and hat into different shapes and usually used this ability of hers to make stuff such as accessories, hats, and props that fit the role she's donning at the time.

Hannah LOVES collecting stickers and often wears them proudly on her body (in her poke form ofc ofc). However, she usually has to get someone else to stick them onto her bc of her lack of actual hands.

Some of her improv roles are inspired by the people she meets while others are inspired by pieces of media she's interested in at the moment.

MYKYIE:

As stated previously, Mykyie used to be a circus performer before he quit to pursue his dreams. His most popular act involved him spinning plates on a stick while standing on a ball.

^^^ Because of this, he also has really, REALLY good balance.

Mykyie always keeps his Miku glowsticks on him, even when not attending any of her concerts.

"Anger Point" is basically an uncontrollable form of last resort whenever Mykyie is close to death but can still fight, it usually leads to him attacking whoever or whatever caused him great harm (In the instance of Lark, it was when he crit Mykyie and the ladder's health was extremely low.)

The Miku tattoo on Mykyie's arm was designed by Mykyie himself! However, it was drawn on him by an anonymous underground artist who went by many names to hide his true identity. The name that the artist went by at the time Mykyie got his tattoo was "Cl@ir33"

The cuffs and cape that he wears are... well, WERE, red. An unknown force seems to be slowly turning them into a shade of blue.

Top five headcanons for either A) Kryptonian Biology, or B) Kryptonian Culture

THEY CAN PURR!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am going to cat-code kryptonians so hard (well, catdog. dog software running on cat hardware?). they have to purr and sleep in little piles in patches of sunlight and also have tapeta lucida and weirdly mobile joints.

kryptonians have significantly less notable sexual dimorphism than humans. instead they've got a bidirectional hermaphroditism thing going on - they have both ovaries and testes etc, and hormonal cycles that dictate their oogenic and spermatogenic phases. (they're not ever oogenic and spermatogenic at the same time; it cycles.)

their cells, all of them but skin cells in particular, have aggressive genetic repair systems somewhat like a crispr-cas9 complex, to combat thymine dimerization and other potential dna damage from all the various forms of radiation they regularly expose themselves to via their [bonkers insane] photosynthesis. this is also why it's so hard to clone them from an adult; if the dna already has shortened telomeres that aren't "supposed to be" that short, the embryonic cells will simply apoptose en masse and the tissue will not develop.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Imagine being the ruler your own kingdom; a whole other world that no one but you could touch, able to manipulate time and feel the wind against unwrinkled skin forever. That was the life a young and adventerous James Hook led. Deemed the ruler of an island he named Neverland, James was not only a fierce and passionate leader of a crew of loyal pirates— but he was a powerful, untouchable, magical being. For years, James basked in immortality, quite literally shifted the sands of time, enjoyed the oceans of an island he knew to be his….until one day, as quickly as these luxuries were given, they were soon taken away upon the arrival of an… unwelcome guest; Peter Pan. Peter Pan somehow crossed the boarders into Neverland and was deemed, by the island it seemed, to be more worthy of the powers James had known for centuries. Suddenly, he was growing facial hair and unable to slow down the hours of the day when they passed by faster than he wanted them to. A once youthful, happy, and optimistic young boy became a grown man filled with a rage that couldn’t be quelled. He was a shell of who he once was, his care-free and whimsical attitude overruled by a vengeance that made his blood run cold. She reminds James so much of himself when he was young and actually enjoyed his life, and every time he sees her he just wants to… kick a puppy or something to make her cry. ❀ Jafar Mungur: This guy gets it; he is determined, passionate, respectable. He is one of the only people in this town James will go to for advice, as Jafar’s thirst for power and respect is one James admires deeply. He’ll happily buy the man a drink any day.

Biography:

Everyone loves a free spirit. At least, everyone but two strict, proper British parents trying to raise one. Abbi Westfield and her twin brother Preston never quite fit in in their exclusive little slice of London city life. When they were little and easily managed, it was one thing. But as soon as they grew and developed their own personalities, life in the perfect Westfield home was anything but. The only thing that Abbi excelled at that pleased her parents were piano and singing lessons…until she was old enough to discover Janis Joplin.

Abbi was around seven when she had her first vision. She touched her brother’s shirt and told him he was going to spill juice on it at tea, and mummy was going to be very angry. Preston of course laughed it off..until it happened. Angry that is sister was trying to get her into trouble, the little boy told his parents about Abbi’s vision, who in turn told her to ‘stop her silly nonsense and be a lady’.

As Abbi grew, so did her powers. Now if she touched an object, she could tell where it had been, where it was going, nearly anything. Her precious twin, having long forgiven her for the tea incident, was the only person that she could turn to for support. A barefoot daughter with a power as unmanageable as her hair was simply not welcome in the Westfield home. Abbi tried her best through school, but her visions became harder to contain as she and they grew. Music became her only solace, and the girl would lock herself in her room for hours, listening to and eventually writing her own music. As these lyrics were dark and occasionally made references to the voices and visions in her head, she was careful to hide them from the prying eyes of her parents. When her mother did find them one day and confronted Abbi, the terrified girl went off in such a way, finally giving in to the breakdown that had been such a long time coming.

The massive fight ended with Abbi finally making good on her many previous threats to leave home. Finding that to be a good idea, and likely glad to be rid of their problem daughter, the Westfields gave her the money she would need to start a new life. American, specifically Saintes, seemed to be the perfect place to settle down. A place where maybe she would be able to find others like her and learn more about her powers. Or maybe, at least, a place that would finally accept her.

This post is going to be a very brief overview of this year's April Fools Day event. I'll only be looking at content that has been posted on the official social media accounts for now, which isn't much but it's what I can access at the moment. Home screen translations from @/pjsekai_eng on Twitter were also used. Next year I'll do a much more detailed analysis because things like Area Conversations will be more readily available.

Summary

For April Fools Day, a new school called MIKUdemy has appeared in Shibuya, which all the characters in the game, including Kanade and the main Virtual Singer(s) for each unit, have been invited to attend for a year. The school's headmaster is Mikudayo. A new song called Be The MUSIC! was released, featuring all 26 main characters.

The characters were all placed into classes of six or seven students. These classes were as follows:

Pure Heart Class

Students: Ichika, Shizuku, Toya, Emu, Kanade, Miku (N25)

Pure Heart Class, a heartwarming and peaceful space ♪

A comfortable class with a calm and fluffy atmosphere. Do other classes worry for them because "There's no Tsukkomi!"...?

Other info:

Ichika feels a bit embarrassed about being called “pure”. She also finds being in the same class as older students to be strange.

Shizuku feels that N25!Miku is like a little sister, and keeps checking in on her.

Since Shizuku and Toya both like reading, the former asks the latter for recommendations. Toya tells Shizuku about Where��s Wally.

Toya thinks that he might be able to compete in the school’s ball game competition if he takes part in the (alcohol free) Dizzy Bat game.

Emu arranged an anime screening for everyone. She also wants to try playing a conch since the school has one in the music room.

Kanade wonders about how everyone is able to handle going to school in daylight. She also wants to talk to Toya about music composition.

Solid Heart Class

Students: Shiho, Airi, Akito, Nene, Ena, KAITO (WxS)

Pragmatic and stoic! That's Solid Heart Class!

This is a class of pupils who are calm and objective. For some reason, they seem to care about the Pure Heart Class students...

Other info:

Shiho understands why Ena and Akito aren’t fond of being in the same class and she is glad she didn’t end up in a class with Shizuku. She likes her class because it has a lot of stoic and independent students.

Airi is worried about Shizuku’s class because they don’t have anyone to play the role of tsukkomi.

Akito is annoyed that he is in the same class as his sister, partially because you can’t tell who’s being spoken to when their last names are used. He thinks Toya’s class must be nice but admits it doesn’t suit him.

Nene is a bit nervous about being in the same class as upperclassmen. She also mentions that Akito and Ena fight like children.

Ena says that WxS!KAITO makes her uncomfortable because he is so much nicer than N25!KAITO. She also worries about being able to wake up in the morning, and decides to let Akito wake her up in the worst case scenario. Airi tells her to not do that.

Passion Heart Class

Students: Saki, Minori, An, Rui, Mizuki, Rin (MMJ), Len (VBS)

When you have an idea, act on it immediately! This is Passion Heart Class!

This class is full of action-oriented students! When walking by the classroom, please watch out for flying drones and energetic students.

Other info:

Saki thinks the named classes make the school seem fancier. She says that at Mikudemy, you can find “something special”, and she wonders what it might be.

Minori wants to invite Rin and Mizuki to attend the Idol History class with her. She also decides to complete in the school’s dizzy bat competition to get better at variety show activities.

An thinks the lessons at Mikudemy are really fun and she thinks she wouldn’t mind studying for exams. She is going to compete against Haruka and Mafuyu in basketball for the ball sports competition.

Rui says he never thought he’d see the day he felt comfortable at school. He quickly befriends VBS!Len because of his similarities to WxS!Len. Mizuki mentions that he’s unexpectedly a good big brother-figure.

Mizuki wins some discount coupons for an ice-cream shop and invites Saki and An to go with them to buy some.

Cautious Heart Class

Students: Honami, Haruka, Kohane, Tsukasa, Mafuyu, Luka (L/n), MEIKO (VBS)

Thoughtful yet firm! They're Cautious Heart Class!

The pupils in this class have outstanding leadership skills. Their warm compassion towards others is remarkable.

Other info:

Honami plans on making the most of her year at the school by studying hard. Tsukasa thinks she would be good on the kick rounders team, but she’s not so sure.

Haruka wants to try out dizzy bat at the upcoming ball sports competition.

Kohane says that having someone as mature as MEIKO in her class makes her shy.

Tsukasa thinks being invited to Mikudemy is a sign of destiny. He invites Mafuyu to have lunch with the rest of the class, and she thinks he’s really loud.

Mafuyu thinks it’s nice that she got to try out some instruments in the school.
