It is foolish to believe in something to hurt or harm you. Remember, it is not the thing believed in that hurts or harms you, but the belief or thought in your mind, which creates the result. All your experiences, all your actions, and all the events and circumstances of your life are but the reflections and reactions to your own thought.

Trust the miracle of your own being. Make no divisions between the physical and the spiritual in your lifetimes, for the spiritual speaks with a physical voice and the corporeal body is the creation of the spirit. Do not place the words of gurus, ministers, priests, scientists, psychologists, friends—or my words—higher than the feelings of your own being. You can learn much from others, but the deepest knowledge must come from within yourself. Your own consciousness is embarked upon a reality that basically can be experienced by no other, that is unique and translatable, with its own meaning, following its own paths of becoming.

There is no effect in the exterior world that does not spring from an inner source. There is no motion that does not first occur within the mind.

earlier today, a family member wasn't responding to my texts and i realized that my attention was on how they didn't text me back and how annoying it is to have to wait for them to respond. i was internally complaining for HOURSSS! but once i recognized my thought patterns, i immediately calmed down and decided that they did in fact replied to my texts.
literally seconds after making the decision, they texted me back 😭😭😭😭😭😭
thought transmission is real but also very funny

Your society teaches that it is almost virtuous to worry. I would not go so far as to say that it is immoral to worry, but worry is a biological impediment. It increases the concentration upon whatever problem is involved, for one thing, and it has a self-hypnotizing effect. Not to worry in your society can seem impractical indeed. Yet a refusal to worry as such will often show remarkable results by freeing the creative mechanisms, relaxing the body, and therefore allowing solutions and resolutions to occur naturally. Worrying impedes your reception of Framework 2 (i.e., inner reality) activity.

You must begin to trust yourself sometime. I suggest you do it now. If you do not then you will forever be looking to others to prove your own merit to you, and you will never be satisfied. You will always be asking others what to do, and at the same time resenting those from whom you seek such aid.

Whenever you are trying to rid yourself of a dilemma, make sure that you do not concentrate your attention upon it instead. This acts to cut out other data, and to further intensify your focus upon your difficulty. When you break that focus the problem is solved.

You are not born to be an automaton. You should think for yourself. Cease letting others think and speak in you and for you. Refuse to let others despoil and pollute your mind with thoughts of fear, sickness, and misfortune. If you have a ready ear and listen to the prejudices and fears of other people, you may contaminate yourself with the same.

Did you ever stop to think that if you are planning something in the future, you are planning it now? If you are fearful of something in the future, you are fearing it now. If you are thinking of the past, you are thinking of it now. The only thing you have to change is your present thought. You are aware of your present thought, and all that you can realize is the outer manifestation of your habitual thinking at the present moment. The past and the future are two thieves. If you are indulging in remorse and self-criticism over the past mistakes and hurts, the mental agony you experience is the pain of your present thought. If you are worried about the future, you are robbing and stealing from yourself joy, health, and happiness. Count your blessings now and get rid of the two thieves. To think of a happy and joyful episode in the past is a present joy. Remember, the results of past events—good or bad—are but the representatives of your present thinking. Direct your present thought into the right channels. Enthrone in your mind peace, harmony, joy, love, prosperity, and goodwill. Dwell consciously and frequently on these concepts and claim them—and forget all other things.

In almost all cases of present limitation, there is one main theme in that particular area: The individual has schooled himself or herself to stress "negative" aspects, for whatever reasons.

i'm not sure if i ever talked about subliminals on here, but i personally love using subliminals. i think they're fun! i'm not using them out of desperation or lack, i just like reading the benefits and knowing that all of these affirmations are facts of my life hehehe
ngl, whenever people say not to trust a sub maker because of X, Y, and Z, or that certain subliminals give them "negative" results, it kind of gives me a little chuckle because why are you giving your power away to someone outside of you...
at the end of the day, you're the one deciding whether a particular subliminal works or not. it's not the method, it's you. you don't listen to a subliminal so that you can get the results, you listen to it because it helps you remember who you are choosing to be now.
