Yo Prussia, what's your genuine opinion of Germany? (As a bonus, the same question, but about Austria)

“Well, West is my little brother, and I’m… Proud of him.” Gilbert’s ruby red eyes glance up to his left, a nostalgic smile on his face, speaking in an uncharacteristically serious tone.

“He’s grown into a strong, capable, responsible, successful, awesome country. He’s grown over the years, and I love the time I get to spend with him.”Gilbert bites his lip, glancing down at the ground with his grin growing.

“I mean, sometimes he could stand to loosen up, and learn to take a break, and learn to take a joke, but he’s a great guy.” Gil’s face contorts into one of annoyance as the next topic is introduced.

“Now Austria. Austria Austria Austria. He’s… A guy.” Gil sighed as he tapped his foot on the ground, his arms crossed and eyebrows knitted together.

“I mean… I might not like him a whole lot, and he might be an aristocratic tightwadded jerk, and he doesn’t know how to take a joke, and his glasses are fake, and a bunch of other stuff.” A grin starts to creep across his face, as Gil stifled a laugh with his hand.

“Yeah, his glasses are fake. Did you know? I sure didn’t, that f*cken nerd.” Gil laughs and sighs, brushing his snowy white hair behind his ear.

“But I guess… his piano playing is good, he’s good at baking, and I guess…” Gilbert pauses, raising his eyebrows.

“He… impresses me.” A smile creeps across his face.

“By being an aristocratic bastard all the time.” He looks up at the ceiling, keeping a straight face.

“What? Why do you look so disappointed? Did you really expect me to be impressed by that tightass?” Gilbert raises his eyebrows in disbelief, his red eyes meeting yours, a humorous smile on his face.

“But really, I guess he tries his best. I’m not saying I like the guy, but I guess I don’t give him enough credit.” He reluctantly admited, itching the back of his neck.

“God that sounds bad…I still don’t like him, but I don’t really hate him.” Gilbert sighed.

“I’m gonna go back to my room.” Gilbert turns around and walks away, Gilbird resting in his hair the whole time.

From what I know of Japan, he seems more like the ace-type, but I still kind of ship him with other countries (such as Greece and America). Yet, I still feel like he’s happier on his own, at least from how he’s portrayed as a character. 

But, hey! I do like a bit of guilty shipping every now and then! ;D

Ameripan is one of those ships for me where I'm alright with seeing it on my dash and the fanart is cute when it pops up but I don't think I'd ever actively search out content for it?? Idk.

Aaah, this ship. I love this ship. It's like the holy ship to me. It find this ship pretty adorable honestly, mostly with all the fluff. AND THE FEELS. AGGH. It kills me. But, then again, I almost ship everything in hetalia, coughcoughexceptusukcoughcough, but yeah. Most of the ships in this fandom don't bother me. BUT THE QUEEN SHIP, YASSSS.
