Forget about torturing your blorbos, putting them through the ringer. I'm putting my blorbo in perfectly ordinary, pleasant situations. Their tortured personality will cause them anguish anyway, making an absolutely mundane scene into the most dramatic, agony filled affair as though the world is ending and it's all their fault

one of my favorite twitter accounts that is defunct now is it was this account called like Crazy Optical Illusions or something and they would just post popular optical illusions but edit them so they werent optical illusions anymore and they would just pretend and people would be very confused / angry in the comments

a lot of media assumes robots would be immortal but i think its a lot more interesting to explore robots dealing with their parts wearing down and battery life shortening and all the horrible little failings that come with being a complicated machine. sure they can replace parts but you'd assume you cant completely ship of theseus them, or it'd have pretty big rammifications on their sense of identity. idk. give me robots with distinct, unique signs of aging. as a treat.
#yeah definitely looking for#robots (2005)#on this one lol#need more of that energy for future robot stories

You can be talking to someone and she'll be like, "Oh I made a silly mistake. Women don't deserve voting rights teehee." And you'll be like, "What." And she'll be like, "Oh I'm sorry! That must sound so bad out of context. No it's this Tiktok meme where, if you're a girl and you do something dumb, you say 'Women don't deserve voting rights teehee.'"
And you'll be like, "That sounds bad." And she'll be like, "No no. It's totally not that bad. It's just a meme. Men say it too. Like if a man does something silly he'll be like, 'I am like those women who do not deserve to vote.'" And you'll be like, "Does that make it better?" And she'll be like, "Well there was one guy who tried to make 'Men shouldn't vote' a popular meme. But it never caught on and also he got yelled at a lot."
And then you drop it there because like, you're harshing the vibe.

there's a fine line between being wary of manipulation and becoming completely paranoid because you get very close to the realisation that pretty much all human interaction involves doing things we hope will lead to a result we like

I’m not kidding when I say that AI has massively skewed the way I view art and honestly? Probably for the better.
Like, yeah- You know what? I’ll play your billion dollar AAA video game. I’ll love every moment of it’s sanded off, trend chasing, monetize ridden grind it puts me through. I’ll compliment the over compensating soundtrack by hundreds of musicians who don’t necessarily need to be there. I’ll appreciate the art and modeling done by a room full of digital artists doing the bare minimum for the paycheck. I’ll stomach the bugs and glitches and inevitable day one crashes of your buggy “patch it later” tactic because you know what? At the end of the day, that’s what makes it all real. That’s what makes it art.
So, thank you to AI. For showing me that no matter how corporate or sloppy the billion dollar company is making their overpriced games nowadays, at least they’ll always be more inherently artistic than a button press.
#Like look- There’s flaws with the modern day.. industries#But one thing that AI’s helped me realize is just how many real human hands touch things like movies and gsmes#This isn’t a ‘leave the billion dollar company alone’ thing#it’s more that the word ‘slop’ has been completely redefined for me
