What I'm trying to reconcile is that the vitruvian recordings in The Sacrifice imply that Hunhow didn't know about the Tenno which doesn't really square with the Tenno openly cavorting with sentients.

However, there is the whole "our history is smoke" line that the teaser's called back to. Perhaps this whole era was scrubbed from history including from the sentients. Maybe something like, the Orokin not wanting any of the learning that occurred at the Tauron academy to persist once the war resumed and did some void fuckery to erase that knowledge?

"Community Director Megan Everett and Creative Director Reb Ford took Tenno on a harrowing trip down memory lane to a fragile period of peace between the Orokin and Sentients during their preeminent conflict." Maybe it is isn't an alternate timeline?? I guess there was a "peace era" during the Old War?? Which if that's the case then definitely consider that a bit of a retcon but not like a horrid one. but that doesn't fucking explain Loid's "Polluted Histories" line. So, we'll see.

I do think they are kind of right albeit not for the reasons they probably think. The show did start with a collection of fight scenes with minimal plot so drew an audience who were more interested in fight scenes with minimal plot. And then when the show had like, characters and themes, they felt like they weren't getting what they were promised. Note how of these four points, three of them amount to "want more fight."

There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl!
