I couldn’t resist writing something up about “The Good Wife’s” big 100th episode even though I’m on a little staycation before starting at E! in early December.
The 100th episode, “The Decision Tree” is “The Good Wife” at its best. The two central stories are balanced expertly. Sometimes “The...

I’d much rather be famous for being a fabulous bitch than being, “Oh gosh, she’s such a nice mom. She does that nice wife really well.” I’d rather it be, “Wow, she’s really a great bitch!”

Sure, everyone knows that Thanksgiving is this week. But fans of The Good Wife have another reason to be thankful aside from the requisite turkey and stuffing coming to a dinner table near you. This Sunday marks the drama’s 100th episode (9/8c, CBS), and boy, does the show deliver. Best example to pass Bechdel test (a.k.a the test of gender bias) I’ve seen in a while on TV. Instead of talking about men or love interest or children, two female characters talk to each other about work, about how to be strong and professional, about how to take initiative and stand on their own. No crybabies. The dialogue is neither too cold or too sentimental, it’s simple and strong. Bravo! To all writers of The Good Wife.
